1. DO NOT USE A DAMAGED SOCKET AND DO NOT LET THE POWER CORD

TOUCH A HEAT SOURCE. Thismaycauseanelectricshockorfire.

2. DO NOT CONNECT TOO MANY EXTENSION CORDS OR PLUGS TO

AN OUTLET. Thismaycauseafire.

3. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SERVICE THE UNIT. CONTACT AN AUTHORISED

DEALER OR REPAIR SERVICE. Servicingtheunityourselfmaycausean

electricshockorfire.

4. KEEP THE POWER ADAPTOR AWAY FROM ANY HEAT SOURCE OR WATER.

5. IF THERE ARE ANY UNUSUAL SOUNDS OR SMELLS COMING FROM

THE UNIT, UNPLUG IT IMMEDIATELY AND CONTACT AN AUTHORISED

DEALER OR REPAIR SERVICE. Thismaycauseanelectricshockorfire.

6. IF AN OUTSIDE ANTENNA IS CONNECTED TO THE UNIT, ENSURE THE

EXTERNAL TO INTERNAL CABLE ENTRY IS FULLY SEALED. Thismay

causeanelectricshockorfire.

7. ENSURE THE ANTENNA IS LOCATED AWAY FROM OVERHEAD CABLES.

Thismaycauseanelectricshock.

Section 1: Installation instructions

TELEVISIONINSTALLATIONTASKS

1. DETERMINE DESIRED INSTALLATION LOCATION

Thetelevisionshouldbeat,orwithin15degreesofeyelevel,fromthedesiredviewinglocation.

Foraninstallationaboveabathtub,thebottomofthetelevisionshouldbeapproximately200mm

abovethetopofthebath.

2. ENSURE POWER SUPPLY IS WITHIN 1M OF YOUR DESIRED INSTALLATION LOCATION

Ifapowerpointisrequiredtofacilitateinstallation,pleasereferthisworktoalicensedelectrician.

3. CUT A RECESS FOR YOUR TELEVISION

Thesizeoftherecessisdependentonthemodelandsizeofthetelevisionyouhavepurchased.Please

refertoTableAoverleafforrecessdimensions

4. ASSEMBLE THE BRACKET AS SHOWN

Assemblyofthebracketwillvaryslightlydependingonwhichtelevisionmodelyouhavepurchased.

RefertoFigureAorBasareference.Insomeinstances,(modelnumberbegginingwithR)theTVwillbe

deliveredwiththebracketpre-assembled.

5. TRIAL FIT THE BRACKET AND TV

Trialfitthetelevisiontoensurethatitsitsflushwiththewall.Atthispoint,youmayneedtoaddnoggins

orstudpackingtomountthebracketto.Thefrontofthebracket,andwall(includinganyfinishingsuchas

tiles)shouldbeinthesameplane.

6. RUN INPUT CABLES TO THE RECESS LOCATION

Youmaychoosetorunastandardantennacable(forFreetoAirtelevision),HDMI(forFoxtel,andother

videofeeds)orotherinputs.

7. RUN SPEAKER CABLES TO THE RECESS LOCATION

Speakercablesmustrunfromtherearofthetelevisiontothedesiredspeakerlocations

(normallyceilingmounted).

8. FIX THE BRACKET

Screwthebracketintotherecesswiththescrewsandmountinghardwaresupplied.

9. CONNECT THE TV 

Connectthetelevisiontothepowerandinputcables.

10. MOUNT THE TV AS SHOWN IN FIGURE C AND FIGURE D

Mountthetelevisionintothebracket.Mountingvariesslightlydependingonthemodelofthetelevision

youhavepurchased.SeeFigureCandFigureDforthetwomountingmethods,onpage10and11ofthis

guide.

SPEAKERINSTALLATIONTASKS

1. DETERMINE DESIRED INSTALLATION LOCATION

Thespeakersshouldbemountedintheceiling,andspacedatleast1maparttoallowforastereoeffect.

2. CUT TWO 100MM DIAMETER HOLES IN THE CEILING

Atthedesiredspeakerlocationpoints,useaholesawattachmentwithapowerdrill,tocuttwo85mm

diameterholes.

3. RUN THE SPEAKER CABLING THROUGH THE SPEAKER HOLES

Pickupthefreeendsofthespeakercables(theotherendsshouldbeattachedtotherearofthe

television,asperstep7inthepreviousTelevisionInstallationTasks).

4. CONNECT THE SPEAKERS

Usingthespeakerconnectiontabs,connectthespeakercablestotherearofthespeakers

5. SLIDE THE SPEAKERS INTO PLACE

Slidethespeakerthroughthefrontoftheceilingholes,beingcarefultoholdthemountingclipsagainst

thespeakerstoallowthespeakerstofitthroughtheceilingholes.Oncecleared,theclipswillsnap

againstthetopoftheceiling,securingthespeakersintoplace.

TEST

1. TURN THE TV ON, TEST FOR VISION AND SOUND

Testthatthetelevision,turnson,canreadtheconnectedinputs,andthatthesoundworksproperly.

2. TROUBLESHOOT IF ISSUES ARE ENCOUNTERED

Ifyouhaveencounteredissuesduringtestingofthetelevision,pleaserefertosection2for

troubleshootingtips.

3. FINALISE INSTALLATION

Oncethetelevisionisoperatingtoyoursatisfaction,youneedtofinaliseinstallationbywaterproofingthe

recess.Removethetelevisionfromthemountingbracketand;

4. APPLY A BEAD OF SILICON

Applyabeadofsiliconaroundtherearfaceofthetelevisionfrontplate.Thiswillstoptheentryofwater

intothewallcavity.Thisiscritical,notforthesafetyofthetelevision,butrathertoensurethatnomoisture

slidespastthetelevisionandbuildsinyourwallcavity.

5. RE-MOUNT TELEVISION

Re-mountthetelevisionasperstep10inthepreviousTelevisionInstallationTasks.

NOTE:

Thepowersupplyisnotwaterproof,andmustbepositionedinadrywellventilatedarea,away

fromanywaterormoisture.Typically,itcanbemountedinthewallcavity,inawellventilated

position.Theleadmustnotbecut,shortened,lengthenedoralteredinanyway,asthiscould

potentiallydamagetheunit.

AllElectricalinstallationshouldbecarriedoutbyafullyqualifiedelectrician,andallfireand

safetyregulationsshouldbeobeyed.
