1 Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Levita D’Lite 200. It’s an easy to use flashlight that is charged
via induction. The lamp is splashwaterproof according to the IP44 standard and has special
features as nightlamp and emergency wake-up.
2 Safety instructions
2.1 General
• Please read carefully through the following information concerning safety and proper
use. Make yourself familiar with all functions of the device.
• Keep this manual on a safe place for future use.
• Do not look directly into the intense white light.
• Batteries can cause property damage such as burns if conductive material such as
jewellery, keys or beaded chains touches exposed terminals. The material may
complete an electrical circuit (short circuit) and become quite hot. Exercise care in
handling any charged battery, particularly when placing it inside a pocket, purse or other
container with metal objects.
• Do not replace batteries in a potentially explosive atmosphere. Contact sparking may
occur while installing or removing batteries and cause an explosion.
• Never throw batteries in fire as they may explode.
• Keep batteries away from small children.
3 Cleaning and maintenance
• To clean the unit, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water. Don’t use a cleaner or
solvents on the unit; they can damage the case and leak inside, causing permanent
damage.
• Battery contacts may be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth.
• If the unit gets wet, turn it off and remove the batteries immediately. Dry the battery
compartment with a soft cloth to minimize potential water damage. Leave the cover off
the battery compartment overnight or until completely dry. Do not use the unit until
completely dry.
4 Disposal of the device (environment)
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product into the normal
household garbage but bring the product to a collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipments. The symbol on the product, user guide and/
or box indicate this.
Some of the product materials can be re-used if you bring them to a recycling point. By re-
using some parts or raw materials from used products you make an important contribution to
the protection of the environment. Please contact your local authorities in case you need
more information on the collection points in your area.

5.2 Battery installation
1. Hold the upper part of the flashlight and turn the battery cover counter clockwise until
the part gets separated.
2. Remove the battery compartment from the upper part and put the 3 included AAA
rechargeable batteries into the compartment following the indicated polarity. Reinstall
the battery compartment.
3. Close the flashlight securely by turning the battery cover of the flashlight clockwise.

• Do not install or try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Only use the batteries supplied with the flashlight.
• Do not short-circuit & dispose of in fire.
• Remove the batteries if this device is not going to be used for a long
period.

6Charging
• Plug the charger into the wall socket.
• Put the flashlight into the charger. The blue charging
LED will burn.
Because of two protection circuits against overcharging, the
unit can stay continuously in the charger. The LED light can
feel warm during charging.
7 Using the D-Lite 200
7.1 Turning the unit ON/OFF
While charging, pick up the flashlight. The LED light will automatically power
on.
When the flashlight is out of the charger, press the ON/OFF button to turn the
LED light on.
Press the ON/OFF button again to switch the light off or put the unit in the
charger.
7.2 LED light functions
When the light is on, press the MODE button to change to different modes:
• Press once for bright light.
• Press twice for medium light.
• Press tree times for low light.
If you turn off the light, the selected light mode will remain.
7.3 Night Light
The night light function can give a comfortable feeling in a dark room with a
very low consumption of energy.
When you set the lamp into the charger, only the blue charging LED will burn.
While charging,
• Press the ON/OFF-button to activate the Night Light function.
• Press the MODE-button to select the desired brightness (steps).
• Press the ON/OFF button to deactive the Night Light.
7.4 SOS
• Press and hold the MODE-button for 3 seconds to activate the SOS
function.
• The LED’s will blink 3 x quick, 3 x slow, 3 x quick.
• Press the MODE-button again to stop the SOS function.

7.5 Emergency wake-up
When the lamp is charging, the LED-Light will automatically turn on if there is a main AC
power interruption.
• The first hour, it will light with the full brightness.
• The second hour, the brightness will drop, but the lamp will burn for another hour.
• After the second hour, the LED’s will bink until the battery power drains to its lowest limit.
When the main AC power resumes, the emergency light will turn off and charging restarts.
8 Warranty
8.1 Warranty period
The devices have a 36-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day the new
unit is purchased. There is no warranty on standard or rechargeable batteries (AA/AAA type).
Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on operation or value of the equipment
are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original or copy of the purchase receipt,
on which the date of purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
8.2 Warranty handling
A faulty unit needs to be returned to an authorized service centre including a valid purchase
note and a filled in service card.
If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, the service centre will repair any
defects caused by material or manufacturing faults free of charge, by either repairing or
exchanging the faulty units or parts of the faulty units. In case of replacement, colour and
model can be different from the original purchased unit.
The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period. The warranty period
is not extended if the unit is exchanged or repaired by the service centre.
8.3 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting from
use of non-original parts or accessories are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning, water and
fire, nor any damage caused during transportation.
No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed, removed or
rendered illegible.
Any warranty claims will be invalid if the unit has been repaired, altered or modified by the
buyer.

1 Inleiding
We danken u voor uw aankoop van de Levita D’Lite 200.
D’Lite 200 is een gebruiksvriendelijke zaklantaarn die wordt opgeladen via inductie. De
zaklamp is bestand tegen waterspatten conform de IP44-norm en heeft speciale functies
zoals een nachtlampfunctie en noodverlichting.
2 Veiligheidsvoorschriften
2.1 Algemeen
• Lees de onderstaande informatie in verband met veiligheid en correct gebruik
aandachtig. Maak u vertrouwd met alle functies van het toestel.
• Bewaar deze handleiding op een veilige plaats voor later gebruik.
• Kijk niet direct in het intense witte licht.
• Batterijen kunnen materiële schade veroorzaken zoals brandplekken wanneer
geleidend materiaal zoals juwelen, sleutels of parelkettingen in aanraking komen met
blootliggende klemmen. Het materiaal kan kortsluiting veroorzaken en erg heet worden.
Hanteer opgeladen batterijen met zorg, vooral wanneer u de batterij in een zak, tas of
andere houder met metalen voorwerpen plaatst.
• Vervang de batterijen niet in een potentieel explosieve omgeving. Bij het plaatsen of
verwijderen van de batterijen kunnen contactvonken ontstaan, die een explosie kunnen
veroorzaken.
• Gooi batterijen nooit in een vuurhaard, want ze zouden kunnen ontploffen.
• Houd batterijen buiten het bereik van kleine kinderen.
3 Reiniging en onderhoud
• Om het toestel te reinigen, gebruikt u een zachte doek, bevochtigd met water. Gebruik
geen reinigings- of oplosmiddelen op het toestel; ze kunnen de omkasting beschadigen
en in het toestel sijpelen, waardoor permanente schade wordt aangericht.
• De batterijcontacten kunnen met een droge pluisvrije doek worden gereinigd.
• Als het toestel nat wordt, moet u het uitschakelen en de batterijen onmiddellijk
verwijderen. Droog het batterijvak met een zachte doek om mogelijke waterschade tot een
minimum te beperken. Wacht een nacht of tot het toestel volledig droog is om het kapje
terug op het batterijvak te plaatsen. Gebruik het toestel niet tot het volledig droog is.
4 Het toestel vernietigen (milieu)
Op het einde van de levenscyclus van het product mag u dit product niet bij het
normale huishoudelijke afval gooien, maar moet u het naar een inzamelpunt
brengen voor de recyclage van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit wordt
aangeduid door het symbool op het product, in de handleiding en/of op de
verpakking. Sommige materialen van het product kunnen worden hergebruikt als u ze naar
een inzamelpunt brengt. Door onderdelen of grondstoffen van gebruikte producten te
hergebruiken, levert u een belangrijke bijdrage tot de bescherming van het milieu.
Wend u tot uw lokale overheid voor meer informatie over de inzamelpunten in uw buurt.

5 Van start gaan
5.1 Toetsen

5.2 Batterijen plaatsen
1. Houd het bovenste deel van de zaklantaarn vast en draai het batterijdeksel tegen de
klok in tot het deel loskomt.
2. Haal het batterijvak van het bovenste deel en plaats de 3 meegeleverde oplaadbare
AAA-batterijen in het vak, let daarbij op de aangeduide polariteit. Plaats het batterijvak
terug.
3. Draai het batterijdeksel van de zaklantaarn kloksgewijs tot de zaklantaarn stevig sluit.

• Geen niet-oplaadbare batterijen gebruiken of proberen op te laden.
• Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde batterijen.
• Maak geen kortsluiting & gooi de batterijen niet in vuur.
• Verwijder de batterijen als u het toestel langere tijd niet gebruikt.

6 Opladen
• Steek de oplader in de wandcontactdoos.
• Plaats de zaklantaarn in de oplader. De blauwe laad-
LED begint te branden.
Dankzij twee beveiligingscircuits tegen overladen, kan het
toestel continu in de oplader blijven. Het kan zijn dat de
LED-lamp warm begint aan te voelen tijdens het opladen.
7 D-Lite 200 gebruiken
7.1 Het toestel in- en uitschakelen (ON/OFF)
Neem de zaklantaarn op terwijl die aan het opladen is. Het LED-licht zal
automatisch inschakelen.
Wanneer de zaklantaarn uit de oplader is, drukt u op de ON/OFF-toets om het
LED-licht in te schakelen.
Druk nogmaals op de ON/OFF-toets om het licht uit te schakelen of plaats de
zaklantaarn in de oplader.
7.2 Functies van de LED-lamp
Druk op de MODE-toets terwijl de zaklantaarn brandt om naar andere modi te
schakelen:
• Druk een keer voor helder licht.
• Druk twee keer voor medium licht.
• Druk drie keer voor zwak licht.
Als u de lamp uitschakelt, blijft de geselecteerde lichtmodus behouden.
7.3 Nachtlamp
De nachtlampfunctie kan voor een behaaglijk gevoel zorgen in een donkere
kamer, en dit met een erg laag energieverbruik.
Wanneer u de lamp in de oplader plaatst, zal alleen de blauwe laad-LED
branden.
Tijdens het opladen,
• Druk op de ON/OFF-toets om de nachtlampfunctie te activeren.
• Druk op de MODE-toets om de gewenste lichtsterkte te selecteren
(stappen).
• Druk op de ON/OFF-toets om de nachtlampfunctie te deactiveren.
7.4 SOS
• Houd de MODE-toets 3 seconden ingedrukt om de SOS-functie te activeren.
• De LEDs zullen 3 x snel, 3 x langzaam en 3 x snel knipperen.
• Druk opnieuw op de MODE-toets om de SOS-functie uit te schakelen.

7.5 Noodverlichting
Terwijl de lamp oplaadt, zal het LED-licht automatisch inschakelen bij een
stroomonderbreking.
• Het eerste uur zal de lamp op volle sterkte branden.
• Het tweede uur zal de lichtsterkte afnemen, maar de lamp blijft nog een uur branden.
• Na het tweede uur zullen de LEDs beginnen te knipperen tot de batterij leeg is.
Wanneer de stroom hersteld is, zal het noodlicht uitgaan en begint de zaklantaarn opnieuw
op te laden.
8 Garantie
8.1 Garantieperiode
Op de toestellen wordt een garantie van 36 maanden verleend. De garantieperiode gaat in
op de dag waarop het nieuwe toestel wordt gekocht. Er is geen garantie op standaard of
oplaadbare batterijen (type AA/AAA).
Kleine onderdelen of defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de werking of
waarde van het toestel zijn niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie moet worden bewezen door voorlegging van het originele aankoopbewijs of
kopie waarop de datum van aankoop en het toesteltype staat.
8.2 Afwikkeling van garantieclaims
Een defect toestel moet, samen met een geldig aankoopbewijs en een ingevulde
onderhoudskaart, worden teruggestuurd naar een erkende hersteldienst.
Als het toestel tijdens de garantieperiode een defect vertoont, zal de hersteldienst eventuele
defecten te wijten aan materiaal- of productiefouten gratis herstellen, door defecte toestellen
of onderdelen van defecte toestellen ofwel te herstellen ofwel te vervangen. In het geval dat
het toestel wordt vervangen, kan de kleur en het model verschillend zijn van het
oorspronkelijk gekochte toestel.
De oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum is bepalend voor het begin van de garantieperiode. De
garantieperiode wordt niet verlengd als het toestel wordt vervangen of hersteld door de
hersteldienst.
8.3 Garantiebeperkingen
Schade of defecten te wijten aan onoordeelkundig gebruik of bediening en schade te wijten
aan het gebruik van niet-originele onderdelen of accessoires worden niet gedekt door de
garantie.
De garantie dekt geen schade te wijten aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem, water en brand,
noch enige transportschade.
Er kan geen garantie worden ingeroepen als het serienummer op het toestel is gewijzigd,
verwijderd of onleesbaar gemaakt.
Garantieclaims zijn ongeldig indien het toestel hersteld, gewijzigd of aangepast werd door de
koper.
