tools, materials, and installation sequences. Follow the sections that pertain

to your particular installation. This will help you avoid costly mistakes.

In addition to proper installation, read all operating and safety instructions.

NOTE: The bathtub pictured in the installation steps may dier from the

model being installed.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO INSTALLERS!: Please leave these instructions for

the consumer. They contain important information.

In addition to installation procedures, this manual contains important care and

cleaning. Please retain for future reference.

¨Please provide adequate available space for the bath unit in accordance with

rough-in. Arrange the location of drain in advance.

¨ Bath can be installed aer the wall is completed. Bath drain supplies

should be arranged preliminarily according to the selected bath.

Product Requirement

A. Summary Of Key Requirements

¨Observe all local plumbing codes.

¨Install the unit to a level suboor.

B.PlumbingSpecications

Conrm adequate mounting, connection of specied faucet for your installation.

C. Product Inspection

Unpack and inspect bath for damage. All Kohler’s baths have been manufactured

with sophisticated crasmanship. However, please inspect for any possible

damage that may have occurred in transit. Leave all materials in the crate

during construction to prevent damage.

NOTE: Damage occurred during transit shall not be covered by warranty.

D. New or Replacement Installation Requirements

For replacement: Remove the old bath, and remove enough old wall material and

oor covering from the area to allow for installation. Remove any old plumbing

that does not conform to the rough-in requirements.

For new installation: Position the plumbing according to the rough-in dimensions.

• Silicone sealant

• Gypsum cement (optional)

• Construction adhesive (optional)

• Protective covering for bathtub

• Nails

E. Clearance Requirements

¨Check the rough-in and room dimensions to provide adequate available

space for the bath unit.

¨ Make sure the ooring oers adequate support for your bath, and verify

that the suboor is at and level.

Prepare the Site

NOTICE: Adequate oor support must be provided. Consult the roughing-in

sheet packed with your bath for specic oor loading requirements.

¨ Ensure the suboor oers adequate support for your bath.

¨ Ensure the suboor is level.

IMPORTANT! To ensure a successful installation, it is critical that bath be

installed on a perfectly level nished oor.

¨ Ensure the nished oor is perfectly level before proceeding with the bath

installation.



1. Install the Bath

¨ Adjust the feet under the bath to make it level. Tighten the nut on the

adjustable feet to sele the height of the bath.

IMPORTANT: The bath must be installed level on all top edges. Floor should

be at, level and free of any bumps or protrusions.

IMPORTANT: Adjust the height of the bath according to the Roughing-In.

Installation with Screw

(*This screw set is not provided)

¨ Fix guide bush onto the oor with anchors, washers and screws.

¨Apply silicone sealant around the end top of the drain hose. Connect the

drain hose with oor drain and make sure the drain hose protrudes from

the oor for a certain length to facilitate future bath removal.

¨Connect cold and hot supplies and check all connections for leak.

¨Insert guide pin into guide bush.

Installation with Silicone

¨ Fix guide bush onto the oor with silicone sealant.

¨Apply silicone sealant around the end top of the drain hose. Connect the

drain hose with oor drain and make sure the drain hose protrudes from

the oor for a certain length to facilitate future bath removal.

¨Connect cold and hot supplies and check all connections for leak.

¨Apply silicone oil to guide bush inside wall and guide pin outside wall.

Insert guide pin into guide bush.

Remove and Install the Freestanding Bath

If the freestanding bath needs removing, please follow the steps below:

¨ Li the bath levelly, now the guide pin could be freely pluged out of the

guide bush. Then remove the removable nut on the drain tailpiece.

¨ Start to mount the freestanding bath. Apply silicone oil to guide bush

inside wall and guide pin outside wall, then insert guide pin into guide

bush.

2. Install the Plumbing

¨Connect the drain to the trap according to the drain manufacturer’s

instructions.

¨Install the faucet valving according to the faucet manufacturer’s instruc-

tions. Do not install the faucet trim until instructed. Open the hot and cold

water supplies, and check the supply connections for leakage.

¨Run water into the bath, and check the drain connections for leakage.

CAUTION: Risk of property damage. A watertight seal must exist on

all bath drain connections. The watertight seal will prevent property

damage.

Cleaning Your Acrylic Bath

For best results, keep the following in mind when caring for your KOHLER

product:

• Use a mild detergent such as liquid dishwashing soap and warm water for

cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners that may scratch or dull the surface.

• Carefully read the cleaner product label to ensure the cleaner is safe for use

on the material.

• Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying

to the entire surface.

• Do not allow cleaners to sit or soak on the surface.

• Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately aer

cleaner application. Rinse and dry any overspray that lands on nearby

surfaces.

• Use a so, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such

as a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces.

which are purchased from authorized distributors and dealers within Kingdom

of Thailand only, to be free of defects in material and workmanship.

Within the below mentioned periods from the date of purchase, Kohler (Thailand)

Public Company Limited will at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate

adjustment where company’s inspection disclose any such defect occurring

in normal usage and maintenance but is not responsible for labor charges,

removal charges, installation, or other incidental or consequential costs. In

no event shall the liability of Kohler (Thailand) Public Company Limited

exceed the purchase price of the product.

•Whirlpool Accessory One (1) Year

•Whirlpool connecting pipe assembly leakage* Five (5) Years

*Exclude the other pipe connecting, overow and bath drain (No Service

Access No Warranty)

This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER the defect or damage caused by

accident, natural disasters such as re, ood, or earthquake, misuse or abuse

of products. Improper care and cleaning will avoid the warranty. Consumers

are responsible for the cost of service parts and service fee for such cases.

To ensure continuous product quality and performance, as well as product

durability and lifetime, without any damage to the product, consumers should

purchase and use only genuine service parts and aer-sales services from

Kohler (Thailand) Public Company Limited or company’s authorized service

centers, distributors, or dealers only.
