TEST PROGRAM FOR DISHWASHER MODEL

⇒IMPORTANT INFORMATION
•The change from one step to the next is performed by pressing the START button. It is
therefore possible to skip one or more steps (except those where level control is
necessary).
•It is possible to disconnect the appliance during test, in order to check the faulty circuit,
and then to connect it again and continue the test.
•To cancel the test, the START button must be kept pressed down for more than 2
seconds.
♦ACCESS TO TEST PROGRAM
Press START 5 times within 5 seconds.
All LED’s around program selector button will light alternately, and all segments of display will
be lit.
♦TO CHECK PROGRAM SELECTOR
Press START button, the left 2 digits on display indicate ‘01’. Turn the program selector and
check that only 1 LED lights up at a time.
♦CHECK OF BUTTONS
Pressing the buttons makes the related symbol on the display come on or go off. Rotate the
DELAYED END button for checking the related symbol.
Note. Pressing the START button causes the test program to go to the next step.
♦TO CHECK THERMISTOR (NTC) AND TURBIDIMETER
Press START button, the left 2 digits will indicate ‘02’. After 3 seconds, if a fault exists either
fault code will be displayed in the right 3 digits.
‘d04’ Thermistor fault (valve out of range)
‘d06’ Turbidimeter fault (valve out of range)
Note. If no faults, the NORMAL and INTENSIVE LED’s will light.

♦CHECK OF COMPONENTS
Press START button, the left 2 digits indicate ‘03’
Note. If there is no communication between display board and power board, then all LED’s go
off and it is impossible to continue. Check the link between the two boards.
♦CHECK DRAIN PUMP AND FAN & DRYING VALVE (WAX BLOCK) NO 1
INTENSIVE and AUTO ECO LED’s come on alternately. If the absence of low level is
detected after 30 seconds, the following code will be displayed over the right 3 digits.
‘d02’ Draining fault (draining duration until low level
greater than 30 seconds)
Note. It is impossible to continue if machine remains at full level.
♦CHECK OF FILLING AND OF EV1
Press START button, the left 2 digits indicate
‘04’.
NORMAL LED flashes as long as the level is
low. As soon as L1 is attained, the LED comes
on solid and the test program advances
automatically to the next step.
At this very instant, listen carefully for the click
of the pressure switch. It is possible to open
the door and check the water level in the tank,
then close the door to continue test.
If level L1 is not attained after 6 minutes, the following code will be displayed in the right 3
digits.
‘d01’ Filling fault (L1 not attained after 6 minutes)
Note. It is impossible to continue if machine remains empty.
♦CHECK OF FLOWMETER FILLING
The left 2 digits should already be displaying
‘05’.
NORMALand INTENSIVE LED’s flash
alternatively. Once filling is complete, the
flashing LED’s will become solid. It is now
possible to open the door and check the
water level in the tank – close the door to
continue test.
If the value read is abnormal, then the
flowmeter filling fault code is displayed as below in the right 3 digits.
‘d05’ Flow meter fault
Note. It is necessary to wait until filling is complete before advancing to the next step.
♦CHECK OF CYCLING PUMP AND MOTORISED FLAP VALVE
Press START button, the left 2 digits indicate ‘06’.
NORMAL and INTENSIVELED’s come on alternately and the valve operates in an
accelerated alternation.
Alternation will be approximately 20 seconds up and 20 seconds down. Transparent door Part
No. 31x5364 can be used to view.
Note. If the valve positioning contact is defective, then the valve motor does not stop and
alternations are more rapid.

♦CHECK OF HEATING (WITH CYCLING)
Press START button, the left 2 digits indicate ‘07’
During heating the NORMAL LED is flashing. As soon as the board detects a rise by 5°c, the
heating stops and the NORMAL LED comes on solid.
If after 5 minutes heating has not risen 5°c the below fault code will be displayed in the right 3
digits.
‘d03’ Heating fault (Temperature rise less than 5°c
after 5 minutes)
♦CHECK OF REGENERATION VALVE (WITHOUT CYCLING)
Press START button, the left 2 digits indicate ‘08’
NORMALand INTENSIVE LED’s come on alternately. Check the water drains from the
regeneration containers in the distributor.
♦CHECK OF RINSING PRODUCT THRERMO-ACTIVATOR (WAX BLOCK) (WITHOUT
CYCLING)
Press START button, the left 2 digits indicate ‘09’.
AUTO WASH and QUICK LED’s come on alternately. After a few moments check the release
of rinse aid on the inner door (wipe it off and close the door to continue test).
♦CHECK OF DRAIN PUMP AND DRYING THERMO-ACTIVATOR (WAX BLOCK) NO. 2
Press START button, the left 2 digits indicate ‘10’.
There will be 10 seconds of cycling to wash away rinse aid. QUICK LED is flashing, followed
by supply to drain pump and thermo-activator No 2. Disassemble the vent cover on the inner
door and confirm vent is 100% open. The QUICK LED flashes during draining and comes on
solid as soon as the low level is attained. If low level is not attained within 30 seconds, the
below fault code will be displayed in the right 3 digits.
‘d02’ Draining fault (Draining duration until low
level greater than 30 seconds).
Note. Advance to next step (‘11’) is automatically performed, but it is impossible to advance if
the machine remains at high level.
♦EXIT FROM TEST PROGRAM
The 2 left digits indicate ‘11’, At this stage, you can disconnect power and dishwasher will exit
test or you can press the START button again and the 2 left digits will indicate ‘12’. Press
START button again and dishwasher will exit test program.
♦DETECTION OF LEAK OR OVERFLOW
Detected throughout test program by the activation of contacts 21-23 on pressure switch or
float switch contacts. The fault code below is displayed over the right 3 digits.
‘d07’ Leak fault (Initiation of anti-leak device)
