By purchasing Kingslim dash cams, you agree to Kingslim's terms including
pre-cautions, user warnings, and conditions of the warranty. If for any reason you
do not agree to any of the terms mentioned in this manual, then you may return
the product in its original packaging, and unused within its return window for a full
refund. Do not expose this dash cam to rain, moisture, or water under any
circumstances, otherwise, external or internal damage will be caused to this
product. Do not put this unit in a damp environment as this device is not designed
to be damp-proof. Please do not try to open the cover or try to repair this product
yourself. If there are any problems with this product's accessories, please contact
us for assistance. This camera is intended to be used inside your vehicle. Please
do not install it in any places where will block the driver’s view of the road. These
places include mirrors or the deployment of airbags. Please read this manual very
carefully before using the camera or installation and keep it safe for future
reference. It will offer help to you if you have any questions or have any difficulties
in using this product.
Pre-cautions
Please read and understand all the instructions before using this product. If any
damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions, the warranty will be voided.
Warnings
Failure to comply with safety warnings and regulations may result in serious injury
or death. Please do not place the camera on top of the instrument panel or in front
of the airbag in case it falls. Please do not mount the camera in any places on the
windshield that may loosen your camera or distract you while driving. Do not expose
this device to extreme heat or dust. Please do not use any chemical substance or
cleaning solvent to clean this device. Pay careful attention when cleaning the lens.
Use a soft and moist cloth to clean the lens to avoid scratches that may compromise
video quality. Removing the camera from the vehicle when not in use is recommended.
This prevents the likelihood of theft or exposure to extreme heat to protect this unit
from damage. Please do not operate or install the camera while driving, or attempt
to change any settings, etc. Please pull over first and do so only when it is safe. Please
do not drop, puncture, or disassemble this product. Do not use the car charger if
the cord is broken or damaged. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose the
camera to direct sunlight for a long period of time, or where the temperature could
go above 158°F (70°C). Some countries or states in the United States prohibit drivers
from mounting anything on the windshield or a certain area of the windshield. It is
the owner or operator’s responsibility to mount or use this device in compliance with
local laws. The company is NOT responsible for the loss of any data or your content
during operation or in any circumstance.

Camera specifications
Getting Started
Please read and understand warnings & safety instructions before operating.
1. Inserting Memory Card
Before using this camera, please insert a Class 10 U3 or higher memory card of
well-known brands at a maximum of 128GB. Please format the memory card
before using it.
Kind reminder:
1) Please format the memory card on the computer and then in the camera’s
settings for better performance.
2) We recommend you format the memory card every two months to prevent card
errors, and for better performance as well as compatibility.
2. First-Time Charging
To begin using your dash cam, please plug it in. The camera will turn on automatically
as soon as it receives power and prompt you to complete the initial setup on the
screen for first-time use. It's important to keep your camera plugged into power at
all times since the internal battery is only for emergency recording during parking
mode.
Warm tips:
1) You can use your iPhone or Android phone’s USB charger to plug your dash cam
into a 110V power outlet.
2) If you don’t get the initial setup prompts for any reason, please reset your camera,
then restart it for the initial setup.
3. Settings
By default, all settings are pre-set so that you can start using the camera right away
without any additional adjustments. However, you can customize it further by learning
more about the camera by either watching How to Video on Youtube or reading the
User Manual so you can get the maximum benefit out of it and the best user
experience.
4. Recording
KINGSLIM 4K D1 Pro dash cam is programmed to turn on and start recording
automatically when it receives power. It will also start recording after you finish
changing settings. To pause recording, please press . When unplugged, this
dash cam will also automatically stop recording, safely save the last video, and
shut down within 5 seconds.
5. Setting Date & Time
Before recording, please set the correct date and time based on your location. To
do this, please press the Setup button, choose and press the OK button to
enter the system settings, then navigate to “Time zone”, and then press the OK
button to set date & time.
