battery

should

be

charged

before

it

is

used

the

first

time

and

when

it

has

not

been

used

for

a

long

period

of

time

than

cover

install

one

‘AA’

(LR-6,

battery

the

battery

cover,

attach

battery

case

to

the

main

unit

with

the

connectors

aligned,

and

tighten

the

attachment

screws

firmly.

To

use

for

a

longer

time

By

using

the

attached

rechargeable

battery

in

fully-charged

status

and

commercial

new

alkaline

dry

cells

together,

it

is

possible

to

play

tapes

continuously

for

about

12

hours.

Caution:

«

If

you

do

not

plan

to

power

the

CP-J7

for

a

month

or

longer

with

the

batteries,

make

sure

you

take

them

out

of

the

compartment.

This

is

to

safeguard

a

against

leakage.

If

you

find

that

the

batteries

have

leaked,

wipe

the

inside

well

with

a

soft

cloth,

and

then

replace

with

new

batteries.

If

you

do

not

intend

to

use

the

CP-J7

for

a

long

time,

remember

to

disconnect

the

AC

adaptor

from

the

outlet.

When

using

batteries

to

power

the

CP-J7;

always

disconnect

the

AC

adaptor

plug

from

DC

jack.

battery

operation

will

not

be

possible.
