Installation
Installing your Screen Wall Mount bracket involves the following steps:
1. Determine the Wall Mounting Location
2. Attach the Mounting Plate to the Wall
3. Attach the Mounting Brackets to the screen
4. Hang the screen on the Mounting Plate
5. Adjust the Screen Angle (K2-T-S and K3-T-S only)
6. Position the Cables
Determine the Wall Mounting Location
1. Decide where you want to hang your screen. A good location is near an electrical outlet,
and within cable reach of any components you plan to connect to the screen.
!
Warning:
Use common sense when determining the wall mounting location. For example, do
not hang your screen over a bed, crib, or child’s play area.
2. Draw a mark on the wall where you want the center of the mounted screen to be located.
This will be refered to as the “Mounted screen Center Point” throughout this manual.
3. If you are mounting to a wood stud wall, continue onto the next page. If you are mounting
to a concrete or concrete block wall, go to page 7.

Attach the Mounting Plate to a Wood Stud Wall
If you are mounting to a concrete or concrete block wall, skip this section and go to “Attach the
Mounting Plate to a Concrete or Concrete Block Wall” on page 7.
Locate the Wall Studs
Wall studs run vertically (up and down) inside the wall, behind the drywall or plaster. You
must attach the Mounting Plate to two separate wall studs.
1. Using the stud nder, make a mark at the left and right edges of the two closest studs on
each side of the Mounted screen Center Point.
2. Mark the centerline of each stud by holding the level vertically, and drawing a line halfway
between the left and right edges of each stud.
These stud centerlines should be vertical, and roughly parallel. If they are not, the studs may
not run continuously from oor to ceiling and you must not use them to hang the screen.
Locate different studs that run
continuously from oor to
ceiling.
The K2 series mounts require
the wall studs to be 16 inches
apart (16 inches on center).
These mounts cannot be used if
the wall studs are spaced farther
apart.

Determine Mounting Hole Locations
1. Using the level and measuring tape, make a mark 2
7/8” directly above and 2 7/8” directly below the
Mounted screen Center Point. These marks are the
Upper and Lower Center Points.
2. Using the level, draw a horizontal (side-to-side) line
through the Upper Center Point that connects all
stud centerlines. Draw a similar line through the
Lower Center Point.
The intersection of the horizontal lines with the stud
centerlines are the Mounting Hole Locations. Using the
drill and 3/16 inch drill bit, drill pilot holes 2-1/2 inches
deep into the stud at each intersection point.
Anchor Mounting Plate to the Wall
1. Hold the Mounting Plate against the wall.
Aligning the center of the Mounting Plate with
the Mounted screen Center Point, move the
Mounting Plate so that the pilot holes are visible
through the slots.
2. Using the ratchet and 7/16 inch socket, anchor
each Mounting Plate into the wall with six ” x
2-1/2” Lag Bolts and Mounting Plate Washers.
!
Warning: On each Mounting Plate, you must fasten all six Lag Bolts
securely into wall studs for proper installation. Failure to do so could result
in property damage or personal injury.
3. Go to “Attach the Screen Arms to the Screen” on page 9.

Attach the Mounting Plate to a Concrete or Concrete
Block Wall
If you are mounting your screen on a drywall or plaster wall with wood studs, do not use this section.
Go to “Attach the Mounting Plate to a Wood Stud Wall” on page 5.
!
Warning: Attaching the wall mount to a brick wall could result in property
damage or personal injury.
Determine Mounting Hole Locations
1. Using the level and measuring tape, make a mark 2 7/8 inches directly above and 2 7/8
inches directly below the Mounted screen Center Point. These marks are the Upper and
Lower Center Points.
2. Hold the Mounting Plate against the wall, aligning the center of the Mounting Plate with
the Mounted screen Center Point. Now move the Mounting Plate so that the Upper
and Lower Center Points are visible through two slots in the Mounting Plate. Using the
Mounting Plate as a template, mark the wall within the four corner slots. These four marks
are the Mounting Hole Locations.
3. Using the level, make sure each set of three marks on the wall is on a straight and level
horizontal line.
Drill Holes and Install Anchors
1. Using the drill and 1/2 inch masonry drill bit, drill pilot holes 2-1/2 inches deep at all
Mounting Hole Locations.
2. Insert a Concrete Anchor into each hole, using the hammer to tap the anchors in place if
necessary. Make sure that the anchor is completely ush with the concrete surface even if
there is a layer of drywall or other material in front of the concrete.

Anchor Mounting Plate to Wall
1. Hold the Mounting Plate against the wall,
then align the marked Mounting Plate slots
with the Concrete Anchors in the wall. Using
the ratchet and 7/16” socket, attach the
Mounting Plate into the anchors with the
six 1/4” x 2-1/2” Lag Bolts and six Mounting
Plate Washers.
2. Verify that you have securely fastened the
Mounting Plate to the wall.
!
Warning You must use and securely fasten all six Lag Bolts in each Mounting Plate for
proper installation. Failure to do so could result in property damage or personal injury.

Attach the Screen Arms to the Screen
1. Unplug all cables from your screen, and then lay the screen screen-down on a at, soft
surface, such as a table covered with a blanket. Make sure that the surface is not abrasive,
so you do not damage the screen or bezel. Make sure that you fully support the screen, but
hang any pedestal-style stand over the edge.
2. Remove the existing stand from the back of the screen so that the mounting holes are
exposed. Refer to your screen’s User Guide for more information.
!
Warning:
If you do not position the Screen Arms correctly, you could damage your screen. The
top edges of both arms must be the same distance from the screen top.
3. Line up the Screen Arms as shown. The Security
Screw on each bracket should be near the bottom
of the screen, facing the outer edge of the screen.
4. Make sure that the same hole on both Screen Arms,
so that the top of each bracket is the same distance
from the top edge of the screen. The brackets
should be roughly centered top-to-bottom.
5. If the back of your screen does not lie ush with
the screen arms, place washers between the arms
and screen back to ll the gap. Do not use so many
washers as to make the bracket unstable.
6. Using the Phillips screwdriver, attach the Screen Arms to the screen. If the screws do not
feel secure in the screen mounting holes, try using the screws that originally came with the
screen. You must securely fasten the Screen Arms to the screen.

screen and mount on the top edge of the wall plate.
2. Slowly lower the screen so that it hangs on the Mounting Plate.
3. Move the screen slightly left or right so it is in the proper
