INSTALLING THE KICKSTAND
1. Locate Kickstand, Kickstand
Bolts with Washers, & Park
Tool.
2. Align the Kickstand behind
where it attaches on the left
side of the frame.
3. Screw in bolts with washers
using the included Park Tool.
1. For Defiant ST and PRO,
attach the front fender and
headlight to the crown of the
front fork using the bolt and
wingnut provided.
2. Attach the 2 fender support
rods to the back of the front
fork.
FENDER & HEADLIGHT
1b. For Defiant, attach the headlight
and front fender bracket, then retighten
the wingnut screw. Make sure no wires
are between the fork legs.
2b. Attach the rear fender so the bolt
goes through the hole in the horizonal
bar on the rear fork.
3b. Bend the forks until they are in
proper position.

FRONT WHEEL INSTALL (DEFIANT)
FRONT WHEEL INSTALL (DEFIANT ST & PRO)
Unscrew the thumb screw on the
axle, place the axle in the front
wheel, then loosely re-screw it
with the Axle Latch open.
Place the front fork on to the axle.
Hand tighten the thumb screw,
then close the Axle Latch. Test and
make sure the wheel does not
wobble.
1. Arrange the Front Axle with the
nut, washer, and 1 shorter spacer
on the left side (the side with
the brake rotor). Do the same on
the other side using the other 2
spacers.
2. Place the axle in the groves on
the front fork, then tighten with a
wrench. Test and make sure the
wheel does not wobble.

SEAT POST INSTALLATION
Unlatch and loosen seat
clamp. Put seat post in
frame and adjust to desired
height. Retighten and re-
latch clamp.
PEDALS INSTALLATION
The right pedal is reverse
threaded so twist in the
opposite direction. Look
for an R engraved on the
threaded end. It should
hand twist easily on the
pedal arm. If it doesn’t,
unscrew and try again.
Use a 15mm wrench for
the last 1 or 2 turns. Repeat
with the left pedal on the
other side.

The Defiant battery can be charged inside or outside the bike frame.
The red led light on the charger will turn green when fully charged.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
INSTALLING THE HANDLEBARS
Rotate to position, close the latch
and reattach the clamp. Tighten the
thumbscrew then press the clamp
down to lock.
Lift the clamp on the top of the
stem, unscrew the thumb screw
and remove the clamp. Open the
latch and center the handlebar.
Raise the handlebar stem, then
starting with the latch all the way
down, lift the latch until it locks.
Make sure the handlebar stem
is secured in the upright position
before moving on.

For Defiant and Defiant Pro, unlatch
the Bike Frame Latch and fold the
bike in half. Insert the key into the
hole on the bottom of the battery
terminal or on the side of the bike
frame and turn it to unlock and
remove the battery.
For Defaint ST, insert the key into
the keyhold on the left side of the
frame. Turn it counter-clockwise
and pull the battery, top out first.
REMOVING THE BATTERY
FOLDING THE PEDALS
Pedals can fold down to obtain its
minimum size. To fold, firmly press
the pedal in towards the arm, then
fold down.
