AC10 4-Bay Charging Dock Instructions

The AC10 4-Bay Charging Dock (P/N 270-049-001) can charge

the batteries in up to four PB42 printers at one time. It takes less

than 8 hours to fully charge the batteries.

• AC power cord. You need to purchase the appropriate power

cord for your location. For help, contact your Intermec sales

representative.

Installing the AC10

1Connect the power supply to the DC power connector on the

charging dock.

2Secure the power supply cable to the AC10 with the retaining

clip.

3Connect one end of the power cord to the power supply and

then plug the other end into an AC outlet. The green Power

light turns on, showing that the charging dock is ready to

charge.

Charging the Batteries

• Insert the PB42 with batteries installed into any of the four

bays on the charging dock. The printer makes the Power

sound.

If you do not hear the Power sound, make sure the printer is

properly inserted into the bay of the charging dock.

Understanding the Battery Lights on the PB42

State of Light Description

Solid red The batteries are charging.

Solid green The battery charging is complete.

This product contains lithium-ion batteries. When

the batteries reach the end of their useful life, have a

qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler

dispose of the spent batteries. If you are unsure of how

to properly dispose of these batteries, contact your

local Intermec sales representative for disposal

information.

Note: In the U.S.A., the EPA does not consider spent

Li-ion batteries hazardous waste.
