Although your HDMS-0808 is neither complicate nor ifficult to operate, we recommen you take a few
minutes to rea this brief manual an familiarize yourself with the important information regar ing pro uct
features, setup an operation.
As with most electronic evices, we strongly recommen you to retain the original packaging. In the unlikely
event the pro uct must be returne for servicing, the original packaging (or reasonable equivalent) is require .
Installation
Environment
Never place this pro uct in an environment which coul alter its performance or re uce its service life. Such
environments usually inclu e high levels of heat, ust, moisture, an vibration.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

isplaye on the front isplay, so you can see it without any ifficulty.
Because it has the RS-232C function, it can be controlle in PC, etc., an it can control two of these evices
connecte in parallel in a same time.

Front Panel
1. DISPLAY WINDOW
Displays the vi eo input channel status which is output to each vi eo/au io output terminal.
“1”~”8” shows each channel, an if “0” is isplaye , nothing will be output.
2. INPUT/OUTPUT SELECT BUTTON
- Output : select the channel you want to output. Push this button, an then isplay win ow of correspon ing
channel will blink. If the input channel to be output is selecte while blinking, isplay win ow will
change to the correspon ing input channel an blinking will stop.
After start blinking, selection will be cancelle if there is no input for about 10 secon s.
- Input : select the input channel to be output to each output terminal.
3. ALL/OFF BUTTON
- ALL : select all output channels. If push this button, isplay win ows of all channels will blink. After start
blinking, selection will be cancelle if there is no input for about 10 secon s. ALL buttons are use
when you want to output one channel in all outputs or isconnect all outputs.
- OFF : it is use when isconnect the output channel. After selecting the OUTPUT SELECT button, push OFF
button, an then isplay win ow shows “0” an nothing will be output.
4. MODE SELECT BUTTON
Sets up the mo e status of No. 2 an 3 SELECT SWITCH.
- A/V : it sets up No. 2 an 3 SELECT button mo e status to simultaneous control mo e of Vi eo an Au io.
- Vi eo : it sets up No. 2 an 3 SELECT button mo e status to Vi eo Control Mo e.
- Au io : it sets up No. 2 an 3 SELECT button mo e status to Au io Control Mo e.
. LOCK BUTTON
It is the button to prevent the human error. After all channel settings are complete , click this button for 5
times, an then all buttons on the front will not work while LED of buttons will be isplaye .
To unlock, push it for 5 times again, an then LED will be OFF. Lock function will not be cleare even after
turning off the power an turning it on again.

to PC.

How to use
1. Connect video device
Vi eo input an output to be connecte to this evice shoul be connecte to RCA JACK locate at the
rear si e of matrix switch by using component cable.
※ CAUTION : when connecting to other input/output evice with component cable, component stan ar
or er (Y, Pb, Pr) shoul be matche .
2. Connect audio device
Au io input an output to be connecte to this evice shoul be connecte to RCA JACK locate at the
rear si e of matrix switch by using RCA TYPE CABLE.
At this time, L an R of RCA JACK locate at the rear si e of matrix switch shoul be matche .
