0 Basic Installation

Turn off

power

your switch at the

electrical service panel.

Circuit Breakers Fuse Panel

Power is ON

Power is OFF

A Remove the old switch and disconnect

V the wires. If your box lacks neutral wires,

stop and contact support.

Turn on

power

the

circuit breaker and

use a voltage

detector

multi-meter

identify line and load. Line will be

energized.

0 Turn off powerat the circuit breaker. Connect the On/Off Switch wires

the identified wires

the junction box. Verify that the wire nuts are secure and that no exposed copper wire is visible

except for the bare ground wire.

Mount the On/Off Switch into the

junction

box

with the LED bar on the left

and turn power on

the switch at the

circuit breaker panel.

Test your On/Off Switch by tapping the

paddle

turn On and Off.

Linking

the Hub

Follow the on-screen instructions to add

your On/Off Switch

the INSTEON Hub.

When prompted, press and hold the

On/Off Switch's set button.
