3.18 At the end of the test, turn the following functions off by pressing the associated keys. Air
Cooling, Water Heating, Level Control and Water Pump. If you require to drain the system, ensure the
Level Control is turned off and open the manual water valve a shown in image below.
4. MAINTENANCE - ROUTINE CHECKS ON EACH OCCASION OF USE:
4.1 Check the condition of supply lead and plug top. These should be sound and undamaged.
4.2 Connect to mains supply and check:-
•Supply switch operation.
•Check the air cooling and water cooling switch turns cooling and heating off
4.3 With the plug disconnected, remove the panel under the control panel and ensure there is no
build up of dust around dirt around the fan and compressor unit.
4.4 Check the calibration of each sensor against a reference probe at the working temperature
range. Please note the probes will only be accurate at the working range hence 3 °C for water probes and
-18 °C for air probes.
5. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Ensure that the unit is maintained in a clean, dry condition and when not in use, stored in a normal warm
atmosphere.
Minimum recommendation every six months:-
5.1 Check the plug top connections are tight and the fuse rating is correct.
5.3 Carry out an electrical safety check (Portable Appliances) using an appropriate appliance
tester operated by a competent person.
5.4 Check that the control temperature is maintained within limits. The manufacturer can offer the
above service on request.
