ation manual to the buyer if the appliance is
transferred to third parties.

any damages that occurred when the instruc-
tions in the operation manual are not followed.

1 Safety Notes
People with reduced mental, physical or tech-
nological capabilities (non-competent persons
including children) shall not use the appliance
unless they are supervised by a competent
person or directed by a responsible person.
Do not leave the appliance unattended. Use
the appliance very carefully if there children
who may not notice the risks or persons who
are not competent to use the appliance are
available in the vicinity.
Package materials:
- Do not use the materials for play. Choking
risk.
- Discard the packing material as per the in-
structions ( spare parts and discarding).
Hood is designed to draw the vapour arising
from the cooker and it is intended to be used
in the kitchen.
- Use the appliance indoors only.
- Appliance is not intended to be operated for
industrial purposes.
- Hood suitable for cooking with electric and
gas cookers only
- Any use other than the ones specied above
shall be considered as operation out of the
intended purpose and it is prohibited.
Points that shall specically be avoided:
- Operation of hood without metal oil lter.
Missing oil lter may cause intense oil de-
posits inside the hood and in the exhaust air
ducts.
- Sterilization by ames in the vicinity of the
hood. Oil deposits may catch re.
- Operation of hobs without the cookware (any
type of heaters: gas, electric etc.).

- Open ames may cause the hood to catch
re.
- Cleaning of the hood with disallowed
materials or equipment, e.g. a steam cleaner
( maintenance).
- Repair operations by unauthorized personnel
( Customer Services).
WARNING!
Risk of burning. Fire may occur in case of
improper operation of the hood.
- Follow the instructions on maintenance and clean-
ing completely ( 4.6 maintenance interval).
Mains points that shall be avoided:
- Cooking, frying and grilling with open ames
against risk of re.

Warranty and assurance rights shall be
void in case of intervention by unauthorized
personnel. ( warranty).
1.7 Faulty appliance
WARNING!
Electric shock. Operate the hood with
electrical current. Serious or lethal injuries
may occur in case of improper installation,
usage and operation. Always comply with
the safety warnings.
1.6 Power supply
CAUTION!
Do not install or operate the faulty hood.
Repair work shall be performed by specialists
authorized by the manufacturer
( Customer Services).

Package materials are recyclable. Save
raw materials and reduce your waste.
Bring the package materials back into the
cycling of materials. Your dealer shall take
your package when you return it ( 6.2
discarding).
Follow the safety warnings during installation
and mains connection ( safety warnings).
Please read the installation manual carefully
before the installation.
Always follow the warnings to prevent
personal injuries and damages to the
appliance.
Manufacturer shall not be held responsible

General Information on the instal-
lation
WARNING!
Lethal risk in case of damage to supply pipes.
Damage to supply pipes (mains, gas and/or
water pipes) may occur while drilling. Take
information on the routing of the supply pipes
before drilling (e.g. with a device used for
searching metal and live pipes).
