Donotlettheburnerameextend
beyondtheedgeofthepan.
Important:whenthehobisinuse,theentire
hobareamaybecomehot.
- Toigniteoneoftheburners,turnthe
relativeknobanti-clockwisetothe
maximumamesetting.
- Presstheknobagainstthecontrolpanel
toignitetheburner.
- Aftertheburnerhasignited,keepthe
knobpressedforabout5-10secondsto
allowproperdeviceoperation.
Thisburnersafetydeviceshutsoffthegas
supplytotheburneriftheamegoesout
accidentally(becauseofsuddendraught,an
interruptioninthegasdelivery,boilingover
ofliquids,etc.).
- Theknobmustnotbepressedfor
morethan15sec.If,afterthattimehas
elapsed,theburnerdoesnotremainlit,
waitatleastoneminutebeforetryingto
lightitagain.
NOTE: shouldparticularlocalconditions
ofthedeliveredgasmaketheignitionof
burnerdifcult,itisadvisabletorepeat
theoperationwiththeknobturnedtosmall
amesetting.
Theburnermightgooutwhentheknobis
released.Thismeansthatthesafetydevice
hasnotwarmedupenough.Inthis
case,repeattheoperationsdescribed
above.
Daily use
Thishobhasburnersofdifferentdiameters.
Forbetterburnerperformance,pleasestick
tothefollowingrules:
- Usepotsandpanswithbottomsthe
samewidthasthatoftheburnersor
slightlylarger(seefollowingtable).
- Onlyuseat-bottomedpotsandpans.
- Usethecorrectamountofwater
forcookingfoodsandkeepthepot
covered.
- Makesurepotsonthegratesdonot
protrudebeyondtheedgeofthehob.
IMPORTANT:improperuseofthegridscan
resultindamagetothehob:donotposition
thegridsupsidedownorslidethemacross
thehob.Donotuse:
- Castirongriddles,ollarstones,
terracottapotsandpans.
- Heatdiffuserssuchasmetalmesh,or
anyothertypes.
- Twoburnerssimultaneouslyforone
receptacle(e.g.shkettle).

suchasvinegar,mustard,salt,sugaror
lemonjuiceonthehob.
CLEANING THE HOB PARTS
- Grids,burnercapsandburnerscanbe
removedtobecleaned.
- Cleanthembyhandwithwarmwater
andnon-abrasivedetergent,removing
anyfoodresiduesandcheckingthat
noneoftheburneropeningsisclogged.
- Rinseanddry
- Retburnersandburnercapscorrectly
intherespectivehousings.
- Whenreplacingthegrids,makesure
thatthepanstandareaisalignedwith
theburner.
- Modelsequippedwithelectrical
ignitionplugsandsafetydevicerequire
thoroughcleaningoftheplugendin
ordertoensurecorrectoperation.
Checktheseitemsfrequently,andif
necessary,cleanthemwithadamp
cloth.Anybaked-onfoodshouldbe
removedwithatoothpickorneedle.
NOTE:toavoiddamagingtheelectric
ignitiondevice,donotuseitwhenthe
