13. Position the slow cooker well away from walls, curtains and other heat or steam
sensitive materials. When using the slow cooker, provide adequate space above
and on all sides for air circulation.
14. The glass lid has been specially treated to make it stronger, more durable and
safer than ordinary glass, however it is not unbreakable. Please use caution
when handling the glass lid.
15. Always have the glass lid placed correctly into position on the removable
cooking bowl throughout operation of the appliance unless it is clearly stated in
the recipe to have it removed.
16. Do not move the appliance during cooking.
17. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles to move the slow cooker. Use dry, heat-
proof oven gloves when removing the lid or cooking bowl after cooking.
18. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
19. When the removable cooking bowl is hot:
- do not place it on any surface that may be affected by heat
- do not place frozen or very cold foods inside it
- do not place it in a freezer or cold water
20. Do not place anything, other than the lid, on top of the slow cooker when
assembled, when in use and when stored.
21. After using, always switch off the slow cooker, then unplug and allow to cool.
22. ALWAYS unplug the unit before cleaning.
23. Keep the housing, removable cooking bowl and glass lid clean.
24. The slow cooker is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer
or separate remote-control system.
25. Fully unwind the power cord before use.
