Streamliner
Flyback Chronograph Automatic
The Streamliner collection represents the dawn of a new era for H. Moser & Cie.
Taking its inspiration from design elements found throughout several decades, the
Streamliner boasts contemporary flowing lines that surpass the boundaries of time.
The incorporation of a 12 atm water resistant pillowshaped case and an integrated
steel bracelet, both of which are firsts for the Manufacture, look to break away from
the mold.
The Streamliner includes a new complication for H. Moser & Cie. – the central
flyback chronograph. With pushers at 10 and 2 o’clock, this model gives a nod to the
Bullhead chronographs of the 60s and 70s. Below the large sapphire crystal case-
back, the HMC 902, decorated with the iconic H. Moser hallmark and stripes, ticks
away. An integrated rotor positioned below the dial winds the 54 hours power reserve
and places the chronograph module in the foreground.
To ensure that the in excess of 400 components continue to work together in
harmony for years to come, the following operating instructions must be followed
carefully.

Normal position
The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic
has a screw-in crown. Screwing in the crown
(normal position, position X) ensures that the
time setting cannot be accidentally adjusted
and also provides protection against the ingress
of dirt or water.
The crown can be loosened by turning it anti-
clockwise until it is unscrewed, at which point
it will automatically be in position 0, or the wind-
ing position. The crown can be screwed back in
and re-secured by pushing it into position X and
simultaneously turning it clockwise.
Winding position
In position 0 – the winding position – the Stream-
liner Flyback Chronograph Automatic can be
wound by hand using the crown. To wind your
watch, the crown must be turned clockwise to
tighten the winding spring.
The watch is automatically wound by the rotor,
which works with the movement of your wrist
during wear. However, this feature is dependent
on how long the watch is worn and can vary
depending on the extent of your arm movements.
The time setting position
To reach the position for setting the time, pull
the crown out from the normal position. When
the crown is engaged in position 1, you can set
the minute hand by turning the crown in either
direction. This will move the hour hand that is
linked to the minute hand at the same time. To
restart the movement, push the crown back into
position 0.
Important
In positions 0 and 1, the watch is only water-
resistant to a limited extent. The crown must
therefore always be screwed back in (position X)
for normal wear; this guarantees its full water
resistance of 12 bar.
Reading the time in the dark
Hour hand and minute hand on your watch are
equipped with illuminated elements that enable
you to easily read the time, even in total darkness.
Reading the chronograph
The divisions for the central second stop hand
are positioned around the edge of the dial. This
can be read to the nearest sixth of a second.
This hand completes a full rotation once every
minute. The minute counter jumps one unit
forward every minute. This hand completes a full
rotation once every hour.
Using the chronograph
Start the chronograph by pressing the start-
stop push-button.
Flyback function: While the chronograph is
running, a new measurement can be started
immediately. To do this, press the reset and
flyback push-button. All chronograph hands are
reset and a new measurement is started
immediately after the push-button is released.
Stop the chronograph by pressing the start-stop
push-button. Reset: Press the reset push-but-
ton. This resets all chronograph hands to the
zero position.

Time measurement addition: You can add the
stop times by press-ing the start-stop push-
button again instead of the reset push-button
after the first measurement.
The metal bracelet
To adjust the metal strap to the right length for
you, please contact an authorised specialist.
They will adjust the metal strap so that it fits
your wrist perfectly.
Water-resistance
The water-resistance of the Streamliner Flyback
Chronograph Automatic is certified up to 12 bar.
Please note that the crown must not be opened
under water.
In order to keep your watch working properly,
the waterresistance of your Streamliner Flyback
Chronograph Automatic should be tested by
an authorised specialist every time the case is
opened. In general, we recommend that you
have this checked at least once a year by an
authorised specialist. Doing so will ensure that
you can rely on the water-resistance of your
Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic.
Cleaning and Service
Your Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic
is a true mechanical watch, with each of its
components manufactured from the finest
materials. Wear in the moving parts of mechanical
watches is perfectly normal, but it can lead to a
slight residue building up in the movement. This
residue can combine with the oil in the bearings,
which may reduce the service life of individual
parts. We therefore recommend that you take
your watch to an authorised service point at
least every five years for cleaning and service.
During this process, the case and movement
of your Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Auto-
matic will be completely dismantled and then
will be thoroughly cleaned, recalibrated and
lubricated.
