Always inspect your ghd ight+™ before use, and do not
use it if it is damaged. If the power cord or plug is damaged it
must be replaced by Jemella Ltd, its service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard. Jemella Ltd will
replace the product free of charge only if it is within warranty.
To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Do not use if the cord is damaged.
2. Do not pull or strain the power cord and do not unplug by pulling on the cord, rather disconnect the ghd
ight+ by isolating the mains switch and then by removing the plug.
3. Do not use an electrical extension lead in conjunction with the ghd ight+.
4. Do not use at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C.
5. Hold the ghd ight+ by the handle; do not hold by the casing or concentrator nozzle, which can be hot.
6. Take care to avoid the hot surface of the ghd ight+ coming into direct contact with the skin,
in particular the eyes, ears, face and neck.
7. Never place the ghd ight+ on any heat sensitive surface or cover it whilst in or
immediately after use.
IMPORTANT: This ghd ight+ is designed for 120/220-240V. Do not use with any power
supplies other than that specied on the rating plate.

1. Do not use this product with a voltage inverter.
2. Always check that the voltage of your electricity supply matches the voltage
of your ghd ight+.
3. Your ghd product is a class II electrical appliance and should not be connected
to earth.
4. Any error when connecting the ghd ight+ can cause irreparable harm, not covered by
the guarantee.

The ghd ight+ must be unplugged from the mains socket:

The ghd ight+ is equipped with a heat-sensitive safety cut out device. In the event of
overheating (for example if the rear grill is blocked), the dryer will stop automatically. Isolate the
dryer from the mains supply and allow to cool before using again.

Your ghd ight+ should only be repaired using specialist tools and by qualied experts at ghd.

Your ghd ight+ is tted with a dual voltage selector (Fig.1). To use this feature simply
insert a coin to switch the ghd ight+ to accept the required incoming voltage i.e. 120V
or 240V.

1. After washing your hair, towel-dry it thoroughly.
2. Do not allow excess water from your hair or any other source to contact the ghd ight+.
3. For fast drying, use the ghd ight+ without the styling nozzle.
4. Note: The t of a cold nozzle could be tight, particularly when the dryer and nozzles are new.
5. Never cover the blower or intake opening.
6. Use the selector switch, to set the fan speed and the drying temperature:

1. Always allow the ghd ight+ to cool down before storing away.
2. When the ghd ight+ has cooled down, fold the power cord in the same way as it was rst
delivered in its packaging. Do not wrap the supply cord around the ghd ight+ as this can
strain the cord and cause premature supply cord failure.
cleaning your ghd ight+™
1. To ensure that your ghd ight+ operates at the optimum eciency, always ensure that the rear
lter is kept clean by regularly cleaning it.
2. To do this rst unplug the ghd ight+ from the mains power supply. Take a soft brush and
gently remove any dust and hair from the lter.
3. Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.

In the unlikely event that your ghd product does not operate correctly, check that the ghd product
and mains power supply are switched on, and that power is available.
For UK plugs, please ensure that the tted fuse is intact and functioning; if it is not, replace it with
an identically rated British Standard Fuse.

The ghd ight+ is intended solely for drying and styling hair and should only be used for this purpose. It is
designed for use in the home only and should not be used for professional purposes.
All ghd products are individually tested before leaving the factory. However in the unlikely event of the
product proving defective due to faulty workmanship or materials, then, at its sole discretion, ghd will replace
the product at no charge with an identical or equivalent product within two years from the original date of
purchase. A replacement product assumes the remaining guarantee of the original product or 180 days,
whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes
your property and the replaced item becomes property of ghd.

7. Zorg dat tijdens het drogen of stylen uw haar de luchtinlaat aan de achterzijde van uw droger
niet bedekt of daarmee in contact komt.

2. Als de ghd ight+™ is afgekoeld, moet u het snoer op dezelfde manier wikkelen als bij

snoer worden uitgerekt waardoor het voortijdig defect kan raken.

1. Zorg voor optimale werking van uw ghd ight+™ dat het achterlter schoon blijft door het
regelmatig schoon te maken.
2. Ga voor het schoonmaken als volgt te werk: ontkoppel eerst de ghd ight+™ van de
netvoeding. Gebruik een zachte kwast en verwijder voorzichtig alle stof en haar.
3. Niet schoonmaken met schurende of bijtende producten.

In het onwaarschijnlijke geval dat uw product van ghd niet goed werkt, controleert u dan of het
product van ghd en de stroombron zijn ingeschakeld en dat stroom beschikbaar is.

fabrieksgarantie
De ghd ight + is alleen bedoeld voor het drogen en stylen van haar en mag alleen met dit doel gebruikt
worden. Het is alleen gemaakt voor thuisgebruik en moet niet voor professionele doeleinden gebruikt worden.
Alle elektrische ghd-producten worden afzonderlijk getest voordat zij de fabriek verlaten. In het onwaarschijnlijke
geval dat het product defect blijkt te zijn als gevolg van slecht vakmanschap of slechte materialen, zal ghd
vervangen door een identiek of een gelijkwaardig product, binnen één jaar na de oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum.
Voor een vervangend product geldt de resterende garantie van het oorspronkelijke product of een garantietermijn
van 180 dagen, welk van de twee voor u de langste dekking biedt. Als een product wordt omgewisseld, wordt
elk vervangend artikel uw eigendom en wordt het vervangen artikel eigendom van ghd.
U woon in Nederland en u wilt een product onder garantie terugsturen? Neem dan
van te voren contact op met de GHD klantenservice: contact@ghdhair.fr en u zult de
retourvoorwaarden krijgen. Het is belangrijk om uw factuur goed te bewaren voor
de garantie.
Deze garantie is alleen van toepassing op echte producten van ghd die zijn
gekocht via door ghd goedgekeurde bedrijven en de garantie is niet van toepassing
op producten die zijn hersteld of onderhouden door anderen dan personeel of
vertegenwoordigers van ghd. NB Deze garantie kan ongeldig worden als serienummers of identicatie zijn
uitgewist, beschadigd of gewijzigd. Dit heeft geen invloed op uw wettelijke rechten.
