In order to preserve the watch for many years, it would be
good to be subjected to a full revision every 5 years.
WATER RESISTANCE
The movement of the watch is protected by a complex case,
fixed with allen screw M1,6. The seals ensure a proper
impermeability against external harmful to the heart of the
watch (sweat, chlorinated or salt water and dust), and must
be replaced much more often as they are in contact with the
agents mentioned above. If the watch is subjected to frequent
contact with water, it is recommended a maintenance every
year, and every 2 if in contact with water occasionally. It is also
recommended to check every year for water-resistance.
Always remember, before entering in contact with the water,
to check the proper tightening of the crown.
HELPFUL HINTS
The watch is made of high quality materials, but the sea salt is
highly corrosive and oxidizing, that with long time frequently
in contact with, it may cause irreparable damage both to the
cases structures and to the rubber strap or leather strap
(making it dry and long bringing it to break).
A regular cleaning, rinsing and brushing your watch in fresh
water, keeps the original appearance of the watch. It is
recommended to do this immediately after each dive in salt or
chlorinated water.
TO AVOID
In order to preserve the watch over the years it is good to
protect it from bumps and made heat source with hard
objects, or expose it to chemicals, solvents or hazardous
gases, extreme heat and even magnetic fields.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
The watch Gruppo Ardito are designed over sizing the
structural parts and using high quality materials, to ensure the
best performance in extreme conditions.
The mechanics are inevitably subject to a certain degree of
wear, the watch should therefore be ensured constant
maintenance, i.e .proper lubrication and replacement of worn
parts. Like any precision instrument, this watch must be
serviced periodically in order to deliver maximum
performance , preferably should be done every 2 years.
