1 Function description

3 Installations
zConnect the telephone Line Cord to the Line jack and the wall
socket.
zTo connect a parallel phone if needed plug the phone line cord
into the Phone jack socket.
4 Operations
During a call the In-Use LED will light up.
4.1 Storing number into one touch or two touch picture dialer
When programing switch (8) must be in N/P position
zPress Handsfree Key to turn on handsfree function.
zPress Store key at back of unit.
zEntering the desired phone number.
zPress Store key at back of unit.
zPress a numerical key (0~ 9) for 10 indirect / direct memories.
zPress Handsfree Key again to turn off handsfree function.
4.2 Disconnecting 911 Key
As the 911 key is preprogramed from the factory, if you need to
disconnect the 911 key you may program any other number you
wish or just the digit “1” into this key by the following.....
zPress Handsfree Key to turn on handsfree function.
zPress Store key at back of unit.
zEntering “1” or any number you wish to store.
zPress Store key at back of unit.
zPress 911 key.
zPress Handsfree Key again to turn off handsfree function.
4.3 Taking a call
zWhen a call comes in, the phone will ring.
zPress Handsfree Key to take the call.
4.4 Making a call
zPress Handsfree Key to turn on handsfree function.
zEnter the telephone number you wish to dial
OR
zPress Mem key.
zPress an indirect Picture memory key (0~9) when the switch
(8) is in N/P position
OR
zPress a direct Picture memory key (0~9) when the switch (8)
is in O/T position
4.5 Ending a Call
zWhen you finish your conversation, Press Handsfree Key
to end the call...
4.6 Redialing
zPress Handsfree Key to turn on handsfree function.
zPress Redial key to call previously dialed number.
Use Ringer volume switch select Hi / Lo / Off position to
adjust the volume of the ringer.
During a call, Use speaker volume control switch to adjust
the Speakerphone Volume.

4.7 Pause function
For some network services such as home banking or PABX’s
which give a secondary dial tone before further dialing, it may be
necessary to insert a pause between digits.
zPress Redial key to add 3.6 seconds pause during dialing a
phone number.
zPress Redial key to add 3.6 seconds pause during storing a
number into memory keys
4.8 Flash Function
Press Flash key the phone line will break and disconnected. It is
for Call-Waiting or other functions offered by local telephone
company.
4.9 Mute Function
During your phone call, if you want a private conversation not to
be heard by the other party on the line.
zPress the Mute key.
zTo continue your phone call, press the Mute key again.
