Evo America, LLC Replacement parts. Evo America, LLC will have no obligation with respect to any product that has been improperly
installed, adjusted, operated or maintained in accordance with national and local codes or installation instructions provided with the
product, or any product that has its serial number defaced, obliterated or removed, or which has been modified or repaired using
unauthorized parts or by unauthorized service agents. The information contained herein, (including design and parts specifications), may

IMMEDIATELY INSPECT FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE
All containers must be examined for damage before and during unloading. The freight carrier has assumed responsibility for its safe transit
and delivery. If equipment is received damaged, either apparent or concealed, a claim must be made with the delivering freight carrier.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Evo America, LLC. warrants to the original commercial foodservice purchaser that the Evo VentCoreTM recirculating ventilation system will be free from defects in
material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original installation date, or 90 days after shipment, whichever is earlier. Evo’s obligation under this
warranty shall be limited to replacing or repairing, at its option, any part found to be defective within the specified warranty period. Any labor expense or part failure
incurred after the warranty period will be the responsibility of the end user. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser/owner to whom
the Evo VentCoreTM was delivered. Any such transfer shall void the warranty.
The end-user purchasing an Evo product to which this warranty applies is urged to register their product online at https://www.evoamerica.com/ventcore-care/.
Upon registration, the warranty period will commence as provided above.
The VentCore includes five (5) filters that must be monitored and cleaned regularly to prevent grease infiltration that will impede the efficient operation of the unit
and may cause damage to components. Cleaning and maintenance instructions are included in the VentCoreTM Operators Manual and Evo Startup and training.
Service calls and/or part replacement resulting from lack of maintenance will not be covered under this warranty.

1. Damage, part failure or performance issues resulting from lack of regular filter cleaning and maintenance as detailed in the VentCoreTM Operator Manual, and Evo
provided training. Cost of repair calls scheduled by Evo during the warranty period and found to be resulting from lack of filter maintenance will be charged to the end
user.
2. Any defect or cosmetic damage to the chassis cabinetry or any removable internal ventilation access doors due to or resulting from ordinary wear and tear, handling,
abuse, misuse or during installation.
3. Any damage resulting from voltage conditions, blown fuses, open circuit breakers or any other damage due to the inadequacy or interruption of electrical service.
4. Any unit from which the serial number has been removed or altered, or modifications made by unauthorized service personnel.
5. Damages as a result of floods, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, corrosive environment, improper installation or installation not in accordance with local electrical
codes.
IMPORTANT: THE DISCHARGE OF THE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM IS LIKELY TO DAMAGE THE VENTCORETM UNIT. THIS WARRANTY IS NO LONGER
VALID AFTER THE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM IS DISCHARGED. NOTIFY EVO IF THE FIRE SYSTEM IS DISCHARGED FOR PROPER CLEANUP
PROCEDURE AND/OR REPAIR SCHEDULING.
Evo America, LLC, or its suppliers, shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, under any circumstances for consequential or incidental damages, including, but not limited
to: (i) any loss of business or profits; and (ii) labor, material or other charges, claims losses or damages incurred or suffered from, in connection with or in consequence
of the working upon, alteration, or repair of any such defective products or parts by persons or firms other than contracted directly by Evo.
Evo will contact the site to obtain details and ask diagnostic questions, and Evo will schedule an authorized warranty service provider.
If necessary, Evo will send the required parts directly to the customer location to hold for a technician.

Evo®VentCoreTM

The team at Evo America and Nieco have collaborated to
develop the world’s first recirculating ventilation system for an
electric chain broiler.
Conceived and designed from the ground up, the Evo
VentCoreTM is a new generation of recirculating ventilation
equipment that incorporates an advanced filtration system that
obliterates grease and odors for a cleaner and fresher kitchen
environment.
The VentCoreTM is integrally attached to a Nieco MV74E electric
chain broiler with a dedicated ventilation hood that includes
a pre-engineered Ansul fire suppression system. This allows the
broiler to operate in an occupied space without a traditional
Type-1 ventilation hood or secondary fire suppression unit.
The system operates on 208V 3-Phase electrical power that runs
both the ventilation system and the Nieco broiler. Once the
VentCoreTM is powered-on and all ventilation components are
verified, the Nieco broiler is then automatically energized and
available for use.
The VentCoreTM ventilation system is made from fully welded
stainless steel and utilizes all washable filters that include the
primary grease baffle filters, secondary washable particulate
filters, and washable electrostatic precipitator filter cells. For
convenience, all duct and filter cleaning is conveniently located
behind easy to access maintenance doors.
The VentCoreTM is designed to be easily wheeled and setup at
foodservice locations like stadiums and arenas, pop-up kitchens
or corporate cafes. If the location or layout changes, the
equipment can easily be moved to a new location, giving you
the power to choose and maximizing your investment.

Software Revision.
CONTROL PANEL
Power On /Off
Press and hold
for 3 seconds.
POWERING THE VENTCORE
The VentCore Home Screen is displayed when the system is turned
off.
The Home Screen presents a power ON / Off button which when
pressed for three (3) seconds will cause the system to start and the
screen transitions to the Ventilation Startup screen.
The Home Screen also displays the type of VentCore configuration
and the software revision for the Temperature Control Unit (TCU),
the DownDraft board (DD) and the Evo Bus board (eBus).

VENTILATION STARTUP
The Ventilation Startup screen is displayed immediately after the
VentCore is first powered On. As each safety interlock is checked
and proven, its corresponding button will display green for GO. If
the switch is faulted, its corresponding button will display red for
STOP.
The interlock switches show if the VentCore filters are in place and
functioning properly, and if the air pressure inside the air duct is
within operating limits.
There are twelve (12) safety interlock switch groups:
1) Inlet Hood - indicates if the capture hood over the Nieco broiler
is positioned closed and ready for operation.
2) Baffle Filters 1&2 - indicates if the grease baffle filters inside the
capture hood are positioned and in place.
3) Mist Filters 1,2&3 - there are three mist filters and a separate
interlock switch for each filter. The interlocks indicate if the mist
filters are positioned and in place.
4) ESP Filters 1&2 - indicates if the ElectroStatic Precipitator
collection cells are positioned and in place.
5) Final Filters 1,2&3 - indicates if the final air processing filters are
positioned and in place.
6) Air Check pressure switches - indicates if air pressure inside the
VentCore ventilation duct is within operating limits.

Ventilation Startup Screen
CONTROL PANEL
VENTILATION STARTUP - INTERLOCKS ARE PROVEN
The Ventilation Startup screen will check each safety interlock
switch until all switches are proven and functioning correct.
When all switch buttons are green, the Nieco broiler will receive a
command to allow its heaters to function.
Note:
The Nieco broiler has a red Master Switch that toggles On and Off
illumination for its display panel.
If the VentCore is operational and all safety interlocks have proven
and the Nieco Master Switch is On, the display panel will allow user
input to turn on and energize the broiler heaters.
If the VentCore is not operational or if there is an interlock fault
and the Nieco Master Switch is on, the display panel will become
illuminated and will allow user input, however, the heaters will not
energize and will not turn on.
The Nieco display panel may be illuminated and allow user inputs,
however, if the VentCore safety interlocks are not proven and all
corresponding interlock buttons displayed green, the Nieco broiler
heaters will be off and will not be operational.
Interlock switches are automatically
checked at power up.
