MC524converters.

Functional Description
TheML530Mic-LineInterfaceisa24channeldigitallycontrolledanalogpreamplifier. Digital
controloftheML530isprovidedbytheSC253iInterfacePilotwhichisundercontrolofthe
systemoperatorfromtheSystem5controlsurface.
Inadditiontogain,theML530alsofeaturesahighpassfilter,Hi/LoZswitch,andphantom
power. TheML530ispackagedina2RUenclosure.
Features
TheML530providesgainoverarange of-12dBto+72dBin 1/2dBincrementsforeach
channel.
FrontpanelLEDsprovidestatusinformationofallfeaturessotheoperatorcandetermineat
aglancethestatus of each input channel. Red front panel LEDsindicatesignalclipping,mute,
impedanceor phantom poweractivation. GreenLEDsindicate signal presence or the activation
ofthe high passfilter, or padattenuator. (Mute,signalpresent,padandmutearenotcurrently
implemented.)

Applications Typical Use
UsedinconjunctionwiththeEuphonixAM713analogtoMADIconverter,theML530
providesmultiple variablegaininputsforthe System5system. Ifmorethan 24 channelsof
variableinputsaredesired,additionalML530unitscanbeaddedtotheSystem5configuration.
