Die Kapselgehörschützer EKAMUFF Nr. 3 sind PSA (persönliche Schutzausrüstung) gemäß den Bestimmungen der Verordnung (EU) 2016/425
des Europäischen Parlaments der Kategorie III und entsprechen der Norm EN 352-1:2002. Prüfungen nach den gültigen Normen, Zertifizierung
und Zulassung zur -Kennzeichnung wurden von der folgenden notifizierenden Prüfstelle durchgeführt:

Das CE-Zeichen „CE 0194” kennzeichnet die Prüfstelle, die die Herstellung und Qualitätssicherung gemäß ANNEX VIII (Modul D) der Verordnung

1. General notes
The following instructions for use of Earmuffs EKAMUFF No. 3 have been compiled to ensure that the protective device performs correctly the
duties it was designed for and to avoid the risks associated with misuse or faulty operation. The manual should therefore be read by all
personnel entrusted with the use. The personal protective devices will grant the performances described in this manual only if properly used
and maintained as here advised.
Use the ear protection with this information brochure, the relevant valid statutory regulations and the safety requirements of the profession
associations, particularly the regulations for use in accordance with DGUV Rule 112-194 ‘use of ear protection’.
The use of Earmuff presumes the full knowledge and observance of the following instructions for its use.
The manufacturer will not accept liability for any damage caused by failure to abide by the aforementioned provisions. The general conditions of
warranty, sale and delivery by the Manufacturer have not been mentioned in this manual. The safety standards and regulations related to use of ear
protection devices issued by competent national and European Union authorities must be strictly followed.
2. Utilization
1. With the headband over-the-head, pull the ear cups down to fully enclose the ears. The capsules can be adjusted to the head shape by
pulling them up and down along the headband. So a snug and a comfortable fit will be obtained and this provides maximum protection.
This is achieved when the cushions exert equal pressure around the ears.
3. Best performance will be obtained when the cushions fit tightly to the head. Pull hair back and out from underneath the cushions as much
as practical. Eyeglass temples should fit close to the head and be as thin as possible (items such as pencils should not be stored under
the cushions).
Caution:
The Earmuffs must be properly fitted to attenuate noise effectively. Bending or reshaping the headband will cause a loose fit and allow noise to leak
in under the earmuff.
