assemble, operate, or maintain this product.
This Draper Tools manual describes the purpose
of the product and contains all the necessary
information to ensure its correct and safe use.
Following all the instructions and guidance in
this manual will ensure the safety of both the
product and the operator and increase the
lifespan of the product.
All photographs and drawings within this manual are
supplied by Draper Tools to help illustrate correct
operation of the product.
Every eort has been made to ensure the

Draper Tools products are carefully tested and inspected
before shipment and are guaranteed to be free from
defective materials and workmanship.
Should the tool develop a fault, return the complete tool
to your nearest distributor or contact Draper Tools
directly. Contact information can be found at the back of
this manual.
Proof of purchase must be provided.
If, upon inspection, it is found that the fault occurring is
due to defective materials or workmanship, repairs will
be carried out free of charge. This warranty period covers
parts and labour for 24 months from the date of
purchase. Where tools have been hired out, the warranty
period covers 90 days from the date of purchase.
This warranty does not apply to any consumable parts,
batteries or normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any
damage caused by misuse, careless or unsafe handling,
alterations, accidents, or repairs attempted or made by
any personnel other than the authorised Draper Tools
repair agent.
In all cases, to make a claim for faulty workmanship or
materials within the standard warranty period, please
contact or return the product to the place of purchase.
Proof of purchase may be required.
If the place of purchase is no longer trading or if you
experience any diculties with your warranty, please
contact Customer Services with the product details and
your proof of purchase. Contact details can be found at
the back of this manual.
If the tool is not covered by the terms of this warranty,
repairs and carriage charges will be quoted and charged
accordingly.
This warranty supersedes any other guarantees
expressed or implied and variations of its terms are not
authorised.
Your Draper Tools guarantee is not eective until you can
produce, upon request, a dated receipt or invoice to
verify your purchase within the guarantee period.
Please note that this warranty is an additional benet
and does not aect your statutory rights.

4.1 Scope
This multi-functional air compressor is designed to
inate tyres, dinghies and sports equipment as part of
domestic and infrequent trade use. The product also
includes an LED lamp for visibility and to attract
attention. Any other application beyond the conditions
established for use will be considered misuse.
Draper Tools accepts no responsibility for improper use
of this product.
WARNING! This product is not a toy and must be
respected.
Read this manual in full before attempting to assemble,
operate or maintain the product, and retain it for later use.

Important: Read all Health and Safety instructions
before attempting to operate, maintain or repair this
product. Non-compliance with these instructions may
result in injury or damage to the user, the product or the
item to be inated.
5.1 General Safety Instructions for
Compressors
• WARNING! This compressor is capable of supplying
air at high pressure. NEVER point this product at
any person or any object for which its use is not
intended.
• Observe and adhere to all standard safety precautions
and good practices when working in a workshop
environment.
• Keep the work environment clear and well-lit,
with bystanders at a safe distance.
• Before use, inspect the product carefully for signs of
damage or battery leakage.
WARNING! DO NOT use this product if damage or
defects are present; take it out of service until it has
been repaired or replaced. Contact Draper Tools for
repair and replacement options. If the power
adaptor or charger cords are damaged, they must
be replaced by a special cord available from Draper
Tools or its authorised service agents.
• ALWAYS ensure that the air hose and valve
connections are tight and secure, and rmly hold the
item to be inated during operation.
• ALWAYS ensure that the trigger lock is in the “locked”
position before inserting the battery or power
adaptor.
• DO NOT use this product in wet conditions or expose
it to rain.
• DO NOT use this product near ammable or
combustible materials or in dangerous or explosive
environments.
• DO NOT store the product with the battery pack still
attached.
• DO NOT attempt to open or modify this product in
any way.
• NEVER leave the compressor running unattended and
allow it to stop completely before moving away.
• Use this product ONLY for the recommended cycle
time and allow approx. 30 minutes for it to cool before
the next use, subject to environmental conditions.
WARNING! Extended continual use of the product
may cause it to overheat and harm both the product
and the operator.
• After use, ALWAYS check the tyre pressure using a
tyre pressure gauge that complies with
BS EN 12645:2014.
• CAUTION! NEVER exceed the maximum pressure
recommended by the manufacturer of the item to
be inated. Check the manufacturer information
before every use and continually monitor the item
during ination.
• NEVER carry the compressor by the hose.
• ONLY use accessories supplied by Draper Tools.
5.2 General Safety Information for
Battery Packs and Chargers
Important: This product is supplied with a 1,500mAh
battery pack. Use ONLY the battery pack and charger
supplied with this product.
• WARNING! NEVER charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
• WARNING! DO NOT use the battery if there is
evidence of leakage. If battery uid comes into
contact with your skin, rinse the aected area
immediately with water. If it comes into contact
with your eyes, ush with plenty of water and seek
medical advice.
• NEVER attempt to open the battery for any reason.
• Charge the battery in a dry and well-ventilated
environment in ambient temperatures between 5
and 40°C.
• Use ONLY the charger supplied with the product to
charge the battery pack.
• DO NOT short-circuit the battery by connecting the
positive and negative terminals while it is detached
from the product.
− Keep the battery away from metallic objects that
may inadvertently cause connection of the
terminals.
• DO NOT store the battery pack in environments with
ambient temperatures exceeding 50°C.
• Dispose of the battery pack responsibly and in
accordance with local regulations.

5.3 Connection to the Power Supply
Always ensure that the power supply on the machine’s
rating plate is compatible with the power supply to which
you intend to connect it.
The rechargeable battery pack is supplied with a UK
standard three-pin plug and is intended for connection
to a domestic power supply rated at 230V AC. An in-car
power adaptor is also supplied and is intended for
connection to a 12V DC socket found in vehicle interiors.
This is a Class II†appliance and is designed for
connection to a power supply matching that detailed on
the rating label and compatible with the plug tted.
CAUTION! Use ONLY the power supplies provided.
Important: If using an extension lead, follow the
instructions that came with your lead regarding
maximum load while the cable is wound. If in doubt,
ensure that the entire cable is unwound. Using a coiled
extension lead will generate heat which could melt the
lead and cause a re.
†Double insulated : This product requires no earth
connection as supplementary insulation is applied to the
basic insulation to protect against electric shock in the
event of failure of the basic insulation.

6.2 What’s in The Box?
Carefully remove the product from the packaging and
examine it for any signs of damage that may have
occurred during shipment.
Before assembling the product, lay the contents out and
check them against the parts shown below. If any part is
damaged or missing, do not attempt to use the product.
Please contact the Draper Helpline; contact details can
be found at the back of this manual.
6.3 Packaging
Keep the product packaging for the duration of the
warranty period for reference should the product need to
be returned for repair.
WARNING! Keep packaging materials out of reach of
children. Dispose of packaging correctly and
responsibly and in accordance with local regulations.

Important: Charge the compressor for ve hours before
rst use.
7.1 Charging the Battery (230V)
1. If installed, remove the battery from the base of the
compressor by pressing the battery release button
(10) and pulling the battery (11) downwards.
2. Insert the 230V adaptor (G) pin into the battery pack
and connect the plug to a 230V mains power socket.
3. The charging status is indicated by the LED on the
charging adaptor:
− Red LED: The battery is charging.
− Green LED: The battery is fully charged.
4. Disconnect the 230V adaptor and insert the battery
back into the compressor, ensuring it locks into place.
Charging may take up to three hours. The compressor
should run for approximately 15 minutes on a full charge.
Important: To preserve the battery health, Draper Tools
recommends that the compressor charging time does
not exceed ve hours.
7.2 Using the 12V DC In-Car Adaptor
Important: The 12V adaptor is not a battery and can
only be used with an active power supply. Unravel the
cord fully before use. Always ensure that the cable runs
through the hole at the base of the adaptor.
1. If installed, remove the battery from the base of the
compressor by pressing the battery release button
(10) and pulling the battery (11) downwards
(Fig. 1–2).
2. Insert the 12V DC in-car adaptor (F) into the base of
the compressor, ensuring it locks into place.
