Quick Install Guide

D-Link’s DUB-1340 4-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Hub provides an easy

way to add four USB 3.0 ports to your notebook or desktop computer.

USB 3.0 lets you reach SuperSpeed data transfer rates of 5Gbps, while

also supporting High Speed, Full Speed, and Low Speed transfer

rates. The four USB 3.0 ports are backwards compatible, so all your

devices can be plugged in. Compact with a sleek, black design, you

can take it with you wherever you go. The hub also allows you to

charge and sync your iPad® simultaneously when it is connected to a

Windows computer without any additional software.

Alternatively, you may use a USB 2.0

Standard-A to USB 2.0 Micro-B cable to

connect the hub to your computer. In

this case, you will only be able to use

the DUB-1340 as a USB 2.0 hub.

Connect the included USB 3.0 cable

to the connector on the back of the

DUB-1340.

Note: Please make sure that the power draw requirements for devices connected to the DUB-1340 do not

exceed 2.1 A for a single port, or 3.2 A total for all connected devices.

4You may now connect your USB devices to the hub. It is recommended

to connect them one at a time and allow your computer to recognize

the device.
