GENERAL NOTES: This module provides controls for both zones of the SR5500. IT also provides true

feedback.

NOTE: IN THE PREFERENCES MENU, YOU MUST SET THE STBY MODE TO NORMAL.

IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE THIS SETTING, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TURN THE

RECEIVER ON VIA RS232.

CONTROL:

power_on/off/toggle D Pulse to turn the main zone on or off.

source_* D Pulse to select the input.

source_m_ch_on/off D Pulse to turn the multi-channel input on or off.

input_ana/digi_digital_auto

input_analog/digital_fixed D Pulse to set the input signal type to digital auto, digital fixed or analog.

Volume_Up/Down D Press and hold to adjust the volume up or down.

Volume_Mute_On/Off/Toggle D Pulse to turn the volume mute on or off.

volume_value(-72d_to_18d) A Analog value for volume presets. Valid values are –72d to 18d. This should be

driven from an Analog Initialize. IT SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN FROM A SLIDER.

Volume_value_set D Pulse to send the volume level set by the volume_value input.

Attenuator_on/off/toggle D Pulse to turn the attenuator on and off. This is for analog audio signals only.

Bass_up/down D Press and hold to adjust the bass.

Treble_up/down D Press and hold to adjust the treble.

Video_mute_on/off/toggle D Pulse to turn the video mute on and off.

Display_* D Pulse to select the information you want displayed on the front of the receiver.

Sleep_* D Pulse to select the sleep time or turn the sleep timer off. Toggle will step through

the sleep times.

Night_mode_on/off/toggle D Pulse to turn the night mode on and off. This is for digital signals only.

Theater-EQ_on/off/toggle D Pulse to turn the home theater EQ on and off.

Menu_* D Pulse to use the set up menus.

Simple_Setup_* D Pulse to activate the simple set up function.

Surround_* D Pulse to select the surround mode.

Test_tone_* D Pulse to set the test ones for speaker set up.

Lip_Sync D Pulse to activate the lip sync functions.

Tuner_mode_* D Pulse to set the tuner mode to stereo auto or mono.

Tuner_freq_up/down D Press and hold to adjust the tuner frequency.

Tuner_auto_up/down/stop D Pulse to start and stop the auto frequency search feature.

Tuner_preset_up/down D Pulse to step through the tuner presets.

Tuner_preset_scan_start/stop D Pulse to start and stop the preset scan feature.

Tuner_rds_disp/pty D Pulse to adjust the tuner rds function.

Key_* D Pulse to enter a frequency or preset number. This keypad will be used for both the

main and multi room frequency and preset entry.

MR_Tuner_Frequency_Up/down D Press and hold to adjust the tuner frequency.

MS_power_* D Pulse to turn the multi room speaker on and off. This is only available if the surround

back left and right speakers are not being used for the main room.

Ms_volume_up/down D Press and hold to adjust the volume for the multi room speakers. This is only available

if the surround back left and right speakers are not being used for the main room.

Ms_volume_mute_on/off/toggle D Pulse to turn the multi room speaker volume mute on and off. This is only available if

the surround back left and right speakers are not being used for the main room.

the number that will be sent to the SR5500 when one of the preset_call or

freq_num_direct inputs is pulsed.

MR_video_Input_*_Fb D High to indicate the currently selected video input for the multi room.

MR_audio_Input_*_Fb D High to indicate the currently selected audio input for the multi room.
