Please read theentire instruction manual before using thefan heater and then save

it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any

necessary changes made to technicaldata. If you have any questions concerning

technical problems please contact our Customer Services.

Safety

• Thefan heater must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless

they are under constant supervision.

• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years should only switch thefan heater on/

off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating

position and they have been given supervision or instruction in thesafe use of

theappliance and understand thehazards involved.

• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in, change thesettings

or perform any user maintenance to theappliance.

• Warning: Thefan heater becomes very hot during use and presents aburn

hazard. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable

people are present.

• This fan heater must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from

physical or mental impairment. Thisfan heater should not be used by anyone that

has not read theinstruction manual unless they have been instructed in its use by

someone who will take responsibility for their safety.

• Never let children play with thefan heater.

• Make sure that none of theventilation openings is blocked.

• Thefan heater must only be used on aﬂat surface.

• Always unplug thefan heater when it is not in use and before cleaningit.

• Never leave thefan heater unattended when it is in operation.

• Thefan heater is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner

described in this instruction manual.

• Always place thefan heater at least 90cm away from combustible materials such

as furniture, curtains and bedlinen.

• Never use thefan heater if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning. Donot use

thefan heater if themains lead or plug is damaged in anyway.

• Do not use thefan heater near bathtubs, showers orpools.

• Never immerse thefan heater in water or allow water to come into contact with

theplug, thermostat or power switch.

• Keep thefan heaterclean. Makesure that no foreign objects can enter

theventilation openings as this can present arisk of electric shock orﬁre.

• Children in thearea where thefan heater is used must be kept under supervision.

• Thefan heater must only be connected to anelectrical outlet with a230V, 50Hz

power supply.

• Thefan heater must not be placed directly below awall socket.

• Thefan heater must not be placed on or next to astove, cooker hob or heat source.

• Do not leave thefan heater switched on unattended overnight.

• Before connecting thefan heater to themains, make sure that it is turned off and

that your hands are completelydry.

• Do not use extension leads for this fan heater. Connect it directly to amains outlet.

• Thefan heater is intended for indoor useonly.

• Thefan heater must not be taken apart or modiﬁed. Certain uninsulated

components inside thehousing carry dangerous voltages. Contact with these can

lead to ﬁre or electricshock.

• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to prevent therisk of electric

shock or ﬁre and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, aqualiﬁed service

facility or qualiﬁed technician.

• Make sure to route themains lead behind thefan heater so that it is not heated by

thehot air from thefan heater.

• Never use water or awet cloth to clean thehousing of thefan heater, doing so will

pose arisk of electric shock or short-circuiting.

• Thefan heater must not be used in humid environments.

• Always let thefan heater cool down before movingit.

• Thefan heater may not be controlled by anexternal timer or any type of remote control.

Operation

1. Turnthefunction selector clockwise to thedesired setting: Ooff, fan only,

Ihotair (1000 W) or ll hot air (2000 W).

2. Thepower indicator light shines when thefan heater is switched on (if

thethermostat control is turned clockwise). Whenthethermostat switches thefan

heater off, thepower indicator light will goout.

Note: Donot turn thecontrol further than theend position.

Thermostat

1. Turnthethermostat control clockwise to themaximum setting.

2. Slowly turn back thethermostat control when theroom has reached thedesired

temperature. Turnthecontrol until it clicks, theheater will turn off and thepower

indicator light will gooff.

3. Nofurther adjustment is required. Thefan heater will then automatically turn on

once thetemperature falls below thesetting and turn off once theset temperature

is reached.

Note: Donot turn thecontrol further than theend position.

Placement

• Place thefan heater on ahard and level surface.

• Never place thefan heater on soft surfaces such as beds, blankets or thickrugs.

• Do not place thefan heater in abathroom, laundry room, or close to thebath or shower.

• Do not use thefan heater in damp or dusty environments.

• Place thefan heater some distance away from furniture, curtains and other

ﬂammable objects. Makesure that fan heater is at least 90cm from combustible

materials.

Overheating protection

• Thefan heater has abuilt-in thermal overheating protection device.

Iftheoverheating protection is triggered, theheating element is automatically

shutoff. Allowtheoverheating protection to cool for 5 minutes. Thefan heater will

now work as normal when switched back onagain.

• As anextra safety measure theheater is also ﬁtted with athermal fuse safety

cut-off. Thisthermal fuse cannot be reset, so if it has blown thefan heater cannot

be reused. Thefan heater should then be discarded.

Responsible disposal

This symbol indicates that this fan heater should not be disposed of

with general householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout theentire EU.

Inorder to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards

caused by incorrect waste disposal, thefan heater must be handed in for

recycling so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner.

Whenrecycling your fan heater, take it to your local collection facility or

contact theplace of purchase. Theywill ensure that thefan heater is

disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.

Care and maintenance

• Unplug themains lead before cleaning thefan heater.

• Clean thefan heater using asoftcloth.

• Use amild detergent. Neveruse solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning agents.

1. Vrid funktionsvredet medurs till önskad funktion: Oavstängd, endast ﬂäkt

(utanvärme), Ivarm luft (1000 W) eller lI het luft (2000 W).

2. När värmeﬂäkten är tillslagen lyser indikatorlampan (om termostaten är vriden

medurs), när termostaten slår av värmeﬂäkten släcks indikatorlampan.

Termostat

1. Vrid termostatvredet medurs till maxläget.

2. Vrid långsamt tillbaka vredet när rumstemperaturen uppnått önskadnivå. Vridtills

ettklickljud hörs, värmeﬂäkten slås av och indikatorlampan släcks.

3. Låt vredet stå idenna position. Fläkten kommer att automatiskt slå på när

temperaturen sjunker under inställd nivå och slå av igen när temperaturen åter

uppnåtts.

Placering

• Placera ﬂäkten på enplan, hårdyta.

• Placera aldrig värmeﬂäkten på mjuka underlag som sängar, ﬁltar, tjocka mattoretc.

• Placera inte värmeﬂäkten ibadrum, tvättstuga eller inärheten av dusch eller badkar.

• Använd inte värmeﬂäkten ifuktiga eller mycket dammiga miljöer.

• Placera värmeﬂäkten på avstånd från möbler, gardiner och andra lättantändliga

föremål. Setill att värmeﬂäkten står minst 90 cm från brännbara föremål.

Överhettningsskydd

• Värmeﬂäkten har inbyggt termiskt överhettningsskydd. Omöverhettningsskyddet

löser ut slås värmeelementetav. Låtöverhettningsskyddet svalna iminst 5min.

Starta sedan värmeﬂäkten igen så fungerar den som vanligt.

• Som extra säkerhet ﬁnns ytterligare entemperatursäkring som bryter deﬁnitivt.

Dennatemperatursäkring kan inte återställas och om den löst ut kan inte

värmeﬂäkten startasigen. Värmeﬂäkten ska då kasseras.
