Re d instructions – All operating instructions must be read and understood before the monitor is
operated
Keep this m nu l in s fe pl ce – These safety and operating instructions must be kept in a safe place
for future reference.
Observe w rnings – All warnings on the monitor and in the instructions must be observed closely.
Follow instructions – All operating instructions must be followed.
Cle ning – Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet before cleaning the monitor. Use a dry cloth or a
vacuum cleaner to clean the monitor. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
Accessory – Do not use accessory not recommended by the manufacturer. Use of inadequate accessory
can result in accidents / injury / damage.
W ter nd moisture – Do not use the monitor near water or in humid environment. Do not install the
monitor in a place where water may splash onto or into it. Be careful with other equipment which drains
water such as air-conditioners. Do not expose the monitor to steam, fumes or oil.
Dust – Do not use the monitor in environments where it is exposed to excessive dust. Please regularly
remove dust or garbage that has attached to the monitors air vents.
Ingress of objects nd liquids - Never insert any (metallic) object or spill any liquid into the monitor
through vents or openings. High voltage is contained inside of the monitor, inserting an object or liquid
can cause electric shock, fire and/or short-circuit on internal parts.
Ventil tion – The vents and other openings in the monitor's cabinet are designed for ventilation. Do not
cover or block these vents and openings since insufficient ventilation can cause overheating and/or
shorten the life of the monitor. Do not place the monitor on rugs, carpets or similar surfaces, since they
can block ventilation openings. Do not place the monitor in an enclosed place such as a bookcase, rack
or table, unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer's instructions are followed.
Power/sign l cord protection – All power and signal cords (Video, USB, etc.) must be routed properly
to prevent people from stepping or tripping on them or objects from resting on them or the monitor being
pulled from its location. Please make sure that the socket-outlet is installed near the monitor and is easily
accessible. The power supply cord serves as a disconnect device.
Power cord / Overlo ding – Do not overload AC outlets or extension cords as this may cause fire or
electric shock. Do not use the power cord with a power tap or extension cord. Only use the power cord
supplied with the monitor. Do not damage the power cord nor place heavy objects on it, stretch it or over-
bend it. Do not attempt to repair a damaged or malfunctioning power cord. Refer the servicing to an
authorized service person. Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet if the monitor is not used for a
long period of time.

Electric l S fety – The monitor must be supplied with the correct voltage. When operated, the monitor
must always be connected to protective ground. No safety arrangements must be removed, circumvented
or taken out of effect.
C ution, gl ss ! - The LCD panel and front window used in this monitor are made of glass which can
break if the monitor is dropped or hit. Take care not to be injured by glass shards (e.g. by wearing cut-
proof gloves) when handling a damaged monitor.
M nu l h ndling / Tr nsport tion – Due to its weight, the monitor always must be carried / handled by
two persons in order to prevent injury by strain or falling. Please observe all current local accident
prevention regulations. The monitor must be transported in its original cardboard box standing upright. Do
not transport the monitor lying flat as this might cause breaking the front window and/or the display panel
glass.
Servicing – The monitor does not contain any user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to service the
monitor or its accessory yourself. Removing covers can expose you to high voltage and other dangerous
conditions. Request a qualified service person to perform servicing or address yourself to the distributor /
manufacturer.
Rep ir – If any of the following conditions occur, unplug the power cord from the AC outlet and request a
qualified service person to perform repairs:
The power cord or plug is damaged.
Liquid was spilled on the monitor or objects have fallen into the monitor.
The monitor has been exposed to rain or water.
The monitor has been dropped or damaged.
The monitor does not operate properly as described in the operation instructions.
The monitor displays an abnormal condition. Any noticeable abnormality in the monitor indicates that
it needs servicing.
Do not adjust controls other than those described in the operating instructions. Improper adjustment
of controls not described in the instructions can cause damage, which often requires extensive re-
adjustment work by a qualified technician.
Repl cement p rts – In case parts of the monitors need to be replaced during repair, make sure that the
service person uses replacement parts specified by the manufacturer, or those with the same
characteristics and performance as the original parts. Use of unauthorized parts can result in fire,
electrical shock and/or other danger.
S fety checks – Upon completion of service or repair work, request the service person to perform safety
checks to ensure that the monitor is in proper and safe operating condition.
Modific tions – Do not alter or modify the monitor in any way without written consent of the
manufacturer.
B tteries – Incorrect use of batteries may cause them to burst or ignite. A leaky battery may corrode
equipment, dirty your hands or spoil your clothing. In order to avoid problems, observe the following
precautions:
Only use specified batteries.
Install the batteries with due attention to their polarities according to the instructions in the
compartment.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix batteries of different types. Voltage specifications of batteries of the same size and shape
may vary.

Immediately remove or replace exhausted batteries.
Remove the batteries if the remote control is not going to be used for a longer period of time.
If leaked battery fluid comes in contact with your skin or clothing, rinse immediately and thoroughly
with water. Upon contact of battery fluid with your eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with water and
seek medical treatment. Leaked battery fluid that gets on your clothing or into your eye may cause
skin irritation or damage to your eye.
Us ge – Usage of the monitor must not be accompanied by fatal risks or dangers that could directly lead
to death, injury, severe physical damage or loss, including nuclear reaction control in nuclear facilities,
medical life support systems, and missile launch control in weapon systems.
Mounting – Always make sure that the monitor is mounted in an appropriate way. Do not place the
monitor on top of unstable objects or in unsafe places. Do not allow the monitor to receive strong shocks,
to strongly vibrate or to be knocked over. When mounting the monitor on a wall, be sure to use an
appropriate wall-mount being able to carry the monitor's weight. Closely follow the wall-mount
manufacturer's instructions.
He t nd light sources – Keep the monitor away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves
and other heat-generating monitors (including amplifiers and spotlights). Do not place the monitor in direct
sunlight.
Therm l injury – Do not touch parts of the monitor that become hot for long periods of time, as this may
result in low-temperature skin burns.

NOTICE
This is a class A product according to EN 55022:2010. In a domestic environment this product may cause
radio interference where the user may be required to take adequate counter measures.
To maintain compliance with EMC regulations, use shielded cables to connect to the following terminals:
PC/AV DVI-D input, PC/AV DVI-D output, PC/AV HDMI input, PC D-SUB input, PC RGB input, RS-232C
input/output, USB output.
WARNING
If the monitor is not positioned in a sufficiently stable location, it can be potentially hazardous due to falling.
Many injuries, especially to children can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
•Using fixing devices like wall mount brackets recommended by the manufacturer
•Only using furniture that can safely support the monitor
•Ensuring that the monitor is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture
•Not placing the monitor on tall furniture (e.g. cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the
furniture and the monitor to a suitable support.
•Not placing the monitor on cloth or other slippery material.
•Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the monitor or its controls.
Especially for safety of children consider the following:
•Do not allow children to climb on or play with the monitor.
•Do not place the monitor on furniture that can easily be used as steps, such as a chest of drawers.
•Always keep in mind, that children easily can become overly excited while watching a programme
especially on a „larger than life“ monitor. Care should be taken to place or install the monitor where
it cannot be pushed, pulled over or knocked down.
•Care should be taken to route all cords and cables connected to the monitor so they cannot be
pulled or grabbed by children.

•Bedienungs nleitungen lesen – Nehmen Sie den Monitor erst in Betrieb, nachdem Sie alle
diesbezüglichen Hinweise gelesen und verstanden haben.
•Bedienungs nleitung ufbew hren – Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung mit den
Sicherheits- und Bedienungshinweisen an einem sicheren Ort auf, damit Sie im Bedarfsfall jederzeit
darauf zurückgreifen können.
•W rnungen be chten – Alle Warnungen auf dem Gerät und in den Bedienungsanleitungen sind
genauestens zu beachten.
•Anleitungen befolgen – Alle Anleitungen zur Bedienung müssen befolgt werden.
•Reinigung – Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen des Geräts das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose. Reinigen
Sie das Gerät mit einem trockenen Tuch oder einem Staubsauger. Verwenden Sie keine flüssigen
Reiniger oder Aerosol-Sprays.
•Zus tzgeräte und Zubehör – Verwenden Sie ausschliesslich vom Hersteller empfohlenes Zubehör.
Bei Verwendung anderer Zusatzgeräte oder -teile besteht evtl. Unfall- / Verletzungsgefahr oder das
Gerät kann möglicherweise Schaden nehmen.
•W sser und Feuchtigkeit – Verwenden Sie den Monitor nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder in
feuchten Umgebungen. Montieren und Betreiben Sie das Gerät unter keinen Umständen an einem
Ort, an dem Wasser darauf tropfen oder spritzen kann. Achten Sie dabei besonders auf Geräte, aus
denen zuweilen Wasser tropft, wie etwa Klimaanlagen. Setzen Sie den Monitor weder Dampf noch
Rauch oder Öl aus.
•St ub – Verwenden Sie den Monitor nicht in übermässig staubigen Umgebungen. Bitte entfernen
Sie regelmässig Staub oder Verschmutzungen die sich an den Lüftungsöffnungen des Geräts
angesammelt haben.
•Eindringen von Gegenständen oder Flüssigkeiten – Schieben Sie niemals irgendwelche
(metallischen) Gegenstände durch die Gehäuseöffnungen in das Innere des Geräts. Im Gerät liegen
hohe elektrische Spannungen an. Durch Einschieben von Gegenständen oder Einschütten von
Flüssigkeiten besteht akute Brand- und Stromschlaggefahr bzw. die Gefahr von Kurzschlüssen im
Gerät.
•Belüftung – Die Belüftungsschlitze und andere Öffnungen im Gehäuse dienen der Belüftung des
Geräts. Verdecken oder Blockieren Sie diese Öffnungen niemals, da unzureichende Belüftung zur
Überhitzung führen und/oder eine Verkürzung der Lebensdauer des Geräts verursachen kann.
Platzieren Sie das Gerät nicht auf Tücher, Teppichen oder ähnlichen Oberflächen, da diese die
Belüftung behindern könnten. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einem umschliessenden Gehäuse,
wie z.B. einem Bücherregal, Schrank oder Tischmöbel, sofern dort nicht für eine ausreichende
Belüftung gesorgt ist oder die Anweisungen des Herstellers befolgt werden.
•K belschutz – Alle Netz- und Anschlußkabel (Video, USB, usw.) sind so zu verlegen, dass sie vor
Tritten geschützt sind, Personen nicht darüber stolpern können, keine schweren Gegenstände
darauf abgestellt werden können oder der Monitor daran von seinem Stellplatz weggezogen werden
kann. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass sich die Steckdose in der Nähe des Geräts befindet und leicht
zugänglich ist. Das Netzkabel dient als Trennvorrichtung.

•Netz nschluß / Überl stung – Vermeiden Sie eine Überlastung von Netzsteckdosen und
Verlängerungskabeln, da in diesem Fall Brand- und Stromschlaggefahr besteht. Verwenden Sie das
Netzkabel nicht mit einer Mehrfachsteckdose oder einem Verlängerungskabel. Verwenden Sie nur
das mit dem Monitor gelieferte Netzkabel. Beschädigen Sie das Netzkabel nicht, stellen Sie keine
schweren Gegenstände darauf und überdehnen oder knicken Sie es nicht. Versuchen Sie nicht ein
beschädigtes oder defektes Netzkabel zu reparieren. Überlassen Sie Reparaturarbeiten
ausschliesslich Fachpersonal. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gerät für
längere Zeit nicht verwendet wird.
•Elektrische Sicherheit – Der Monitor muss mit der korrekten Spannung versorgt werden. Im
Betrieb muss der Monitor immer sicher mit dem Schutzleiter verbunden sein. Es dürfen keine
Sicherungseinrichtungen entfernt, umgangen oder unbrauchbar gemacht werden.
•Achtung, Gl s ! - Das LCD-Panel und die Frontabdeckscheibe sind Glasprodukte. Sie können
zerbrechen, wenn der Monitor fallen gelassen wird oder einen Schlag/Stoß erhält. Treffen Sie
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen (z.B. Tragen von schnittfesten Handschuhen) um nicht durch Glasscherben
verletzt zu werden, wenn Sie mit einem zerbrochenen Gerät hantieren.
•H ndh bung / Tr nsport – Aufgrund seines Gewichts darf der Monitor nur immer von zwei
Personen gleichzeitig getragen oder gehandhabt werden. Bitte beachten Sie auch örtlich geltende
Unfallverhütungsvorschriften. Der Monitor muß immer im Originalkarton aufrecht stehend
transportiert werden. Transportieren Sie das Gerät niemals flach liegend, da dadurch die
Frontabdeckscheibe und/oder das Displayglas zerbrechen könnten.
•W rtung – Der Monitor enthält keine durch den Benutzer zugänglichen wartbaren Teile. Versuchen
Sie auf keinen Fall, selbst Wartungsarbeiten am Gerät durchzuführen. Durch das Entfernen von
Abdeckungen setzen Sie sich möglicherweise hohen elektrischen Spannungen und anderen
Gefahren aus. Beauftragen Sie ausschließlich qualifiziertes Servicepersonal mit der Wartung des
Geräts oder wenden Sie sich an den Händler / Hersteller.
•Rep r turen – Trennen Sie in den folgenden Situationen das Gerät sofort vom Stromnetz und
lassen Sie es durch qualifiziertes Servicepersonal reparieren:
•Wenn das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker beschädigt ist.
•Wenn Flüssigkeit in das Gerät eingedrungen ist oder Gegenstände in das Gerät gefallen
sind.
•Wenn das Gerät nass geworden ist (z.B. durch Regen).
•Wenn das Gerät fallen gelassen oder beschädigt wurde.
•Wenn das Gerät nicht, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben, funktioniert.
•Wenn das Gerät einen anormalen Zustand aufweist. Jedes erkennbare anormale Verhalten
zeigt an, dass der Kundendienst erforderlich ist.
•Nehmen Sie nur die in den Bedienungsanleitungen beschriebenen Einstellungen vor.
Unsachgemäße Einstellungen an anderen Reglern können zu einer Beschädigung führen
und machen häufig umfangreiche Einstellarbeiten durch qualifiziertes Servicepersonal
erforderlich.
•Ers tzteile – Wenn im Rahmen einer Reparatur Ersatzteile benötigt werden, stellen Sie bitte sicher,
dass das Servicepersonal nur die vom Hersteller bezeichneten Teile oder Teile mit gleichen
Eigenschaften und gleichem Leistungsvermögen wie die Originalteile verwendet. Die Verwendung
anderer Teile kann zu einem Brand, Stromschlag oder anderen Gefahren führen.
•Sicherheitsüberprüfungen – Lassen Sie vom Servicepersonal nach erfolgten Service- oder
Reparaturarbeiten eine Sicherheitsüberprüfung vornehmen, um sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät in
einem einwandfreien, sicheren Betriebszustand ist.
