1.2 Safety Warnings
1 Repeater must be installed following user’s manual strictly,
and assure good groundings and lightning for delivering
repeaters stable protection.
2 The power supply of repeater should meet the standards of
security.
3 Any user should disconnect power prior to operate repeater.
4 Do not carry out any modification or internal components
adjustment. The adjustment or repair of the equipment must
only be produced by trained and authorized personnel.
5 For better heat-dissipation, please keep the repeater away
from other electrical appliances, and do not cover repeater
with anything.
6 For the purpose of regular supervision or maintenance,
please pay attentions to the indicator lights during operation.

Chapter 2 BEFORE GETTNG STARTED
2.1 Product Introduction
The in-building repeaters are designed to improve cellular coverage within a
facility. Combined with interior antennas, and an exterior antenna, the repeater
boosts the signal level for distribution within the interior areas, reducing dropped
calls and expanding the carriers’ service area. It significantly improves the
performance, including both voice and data service. The figure shows a typical
application of an in-building repeater.

2.2 How Does It Work
The single-band indoor amplifiers operating within one band guarantee better
cellular service and reduce dropped calls by enhancing signal strength. The
in-building repeaters work combining with two antennas. One is donor antenna and
the other one is service antenna. The signals obtained from nearest cell tower by
donor antenna, will be filtered and boosted by amplifiers, and then, the amplifiers
retransmit the amplified signals via cable to a service antenna to give subscribers
better service. That is the downlink process (Tower to Cell phone), and vice versa for
uplink (Cell phone to Tower).
