INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar

el producto. Guarde este manual para futuras referencias o

nuevos usuarios.

- Siga todas las precauciones de seguridad que se indican

a continuación por motivos de seguridad y para reducir el

riesgo de lesiones o descargas eléctricas.

- Asegúrese siempre de que la tensión coincide con la indicada

- No deje nunca el aparato desatendido mientras esté en

funcionamiento. Desconecte el aparato cuando no esté en

funcionamiento.

- No toque la supercie con las manos al descubierto ni

mojadas para evitar quemaduras.

- Advertencia: Algunas partes de este producto pueden

calentarse mucho y provocar quemaduras. Debe prestar

especialatención cuandohayaniñosypersonasvulnerables.

- Mantenga materiales combustibles como muebles,

almohadas, sábanas, papel, ropa y cortinas a un mínimo de

1 m de la estufa.

- La estufa debe instalarse a una altura mínima de 1,8 m

del suelo, techo, tejado y a una distancia mínima de 1 m de

ambas paredes laterales.

- La estufa no debe estar orientada con la resistencia hacia

calentar.

- Los niños menores de 3 años deben mantenerse alejados

del dispositivo y ser supervisados en todo momento.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device.

Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

- Follow all safety precautions listed belowfor safety reasons

and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock.

- Always make sure that the voltage matches the voltage

indicated on the label.

- Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.

Always unplug the device when not in use.

- To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch a hot surface.

- Warning: some parts of this product may become very hot

and cause burns. You must take special care with children

and vulnerable persons.

- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows,

bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains at least 1 m from all

sides of the heater.

- The heater must be installed at a minimum height of 1.8 m

from the oor, ceiling, roof and at a minimum distance of 1 m

from both side walls.

- The heater must not be oriented with the heating element

towards the ceiling. The heater must face the area to be

heated.

- Children under 3 years old must stay away from the device

and be supervised at all times.

- Children aged 3 years and above and under 8 years may

switch the appliance on and o only when it has been placed

or installed in its normal intended position and they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

applianceinasafewayandunderstandthe hazardsinvolved.

Children from 3 years of age and under 8 years of age must

not plug in, adjust, clean, or perform user maintenance on

the appliance.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Do not allow children to play with the

device. The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance

should not be carried out by children without supervision.

- Do not use the appliance in case of visible damage.

- Donotattempttorepairoradjustanyelectricalormechanical

function of this appliance. The appliance contains no user

serviceable parts. Maintenance or repairs should only be

carried out by a qualied electrician. Attempting to repair

the unit yourself will void the warranty.

- If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, the supplier, or qualied personnel to avoid

hazards.

- Do not replace or attempt to replace the heating element of

this product.

- This product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Do not

use the appliance in direct sunlight, near heat sources, in

humid environments or in places near water or other liquids,

such as bathrooms, showers or swimming pools.

- Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or spill water

or other liquids on the power cord or plug.

- Do not run the power cable undercarpeting. Do not coverthe

power cable with rugs, runner, or similar coverings. Position

the cord in such a way as to avoid obstructing passage and

cause tripping hazards.

- Never wind the main cable around the appliance.

- Do not insert orallowobjectsto enterthroughtheventilation

slots, as this may result in electric shock, re, or damage to

the appliance.

- To avoid a possible re, do not block the air outlets.

- Do not use the appliance in areas where petrol, paints or

other ammable substances are used or stored.

- Always place the appliance with the plug in an accessible

position and avoid using extension cords, as they may

overheat and cause a potential re hazard.

- Always make sure that the heater is plugged into a suitable

socket that has been tested for outdoor use.

- To turn the heater o, turn the switch to the OFF position

and then disconnect the plug from the socket. Do not pull on

the plug to disconnect the appliance.

- Always unplug the appliance and make sure it is completely

cool before moving, cleaning, or storing it.

- This heater is intended for domestic use only and must not

be used for commercial purposes. The use of accessories not

recommended by Cecotec may result in re, electric shock,

or injury to persons.

- The use of accessories on the heater is not recommended.

- Warning: this heater is not equipped with a device to control

the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms

ifthe people in the room are unable to get out bythemselves,

supervise them.

- Check exteriorwalls for damaged areas before installing the

heater.

- Check exterior walls for electrical wiring. If there is a supply

line in the vicinity, do not install your heater, nd another

place to install this product.

- If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, the supplier, or qualied personnel to avoid

hazards.

- The light of this device is not replaceable. When the light

reaches the end of its service life, the entire heater must be

replaced.
