ThePM-11moduleisamonopreviouswithrelayoutput.WhenthemodulereceivetheAudioinputsignaltheoutputwill
beconnectedactivatingtherelay.
Speciallyrecommendedforautomaticapplicationswheretheaudiosignalorthevoiceisimportant.
Itincludedapotentiometertoadjustthesensitivityandaprotectionagainstpolarityinversion.

ThePM-11circuithadtobesuppliedbyavoltagebetween9and15VDC.,perfectlystabilisedtoavoid
todamagethemodule.
Then,werecommendedyoutheFE-2powersupplywhichhasbeendevelopedtoperfectlyanswertothecircuitneeds.
Connectthepositiveofthepowersupplytothepositiveterminalindicatedinthewiringmap,thenconnectalsothe
negativeofthepowersupplytothenegativeterminalindicatedinthecircuit.thattheassemblyhasbeencorrectly
done.
ConnectinputsignalandinputterminalindicatedintheGeneralWiringMap.Intheinstallation,the
distancebetweenthesoundsourceandthePM-11hadtobeasshortaspossibleandasmaximum30cm.Moreover,
youhavetousealowfrequencyshieldedcable.Theinputsignalcouldbethesignalsuppliedbyauxiliariesinputas
mixers,desks,etc..butthislasthavetobeinferiorthan300mV.asmaximumlevel.
Connectinputandoutputwiththepowersupply.Eachtimethemodulewillreceiveanaudiosignal,itwillconnectthe
output,activatingtherelaywhichwillbeconnectedtillitstoptoreceivesignal.Ifyouwishtoadjustthesensitivitylevel,
youhavetousethepotentiometerindicatedintheGeneralWiringMap.
TheoutputModule(PM-11)iscontrolledbyarelay,allowinganyloaduntil5
A.asmaximumconsumption.Theoperatingofthismechanismisthesameasaswitch,openingorclosingitsterminals
toallowornottosupplythemodule,withtwo(2)terminalsNAandcommon.Toobtainthereverseoperating,youhave
touseNCandCommonterminals.IntheOutputconnectionparagraph,youcouldappreciatethetypicalconnectionfor
adevicesoperatingat12VDCandtooperateat220VAC.
Youhavetouseshieldedcableforallconnectionsandconnectgroundtothechassisofthebox.
Maintainacorrect distancewithothermodulesaspowerstage,whichcoulddissipateabigheat.Installthemoduleina
metallicenclosurewithaventilationgrille.
Ifyouwishtoconnectamicrophonetothepm-11module,youhaveto
useanelectretmicrophone.Toobtainacorrectoperating,youhavetoproceed
asfollowing.Seeingthedrawing,youhavetochangethepositionofthe4.7uF
capacitortoallowitsnegativesigntocoincidewiththenegativesignpresenton
thecircuit.Then,youhavetoconnecta4K7resistorbetweenpositiveterminal
oftheinputsignalandthepositiveterminalofthepowersupply.Donotforget
thatthenegativeterminalofthemicrophoneisthepinconnectedtothismain
part.
