Safety Tips
• Position on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out
installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any
components on this product.

• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water, or use jet/pressure
washers to clean the appliance
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended
use.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the
appliance when not in use.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or hot surface.
• Not suitable for outdoor use.
• Keep fingers away from moving parts.
• Do not remove cover until blade has completely stopped.
• Do not attempt to operate without the cover in place.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Before Use
• Carefully unpack your coffee grinder and
remove all packing materials.
• To remove any dust that may have
accumulated during packaging, wipe the
grinding bowl, blades with a damp lint-free
cloth or sponge. Use extreme care as the
blades are sharp.
• The transparent cover can be immersed in
water for cleaning, dry thoroughly.
Caution: Never immerse the
motor base in water for cleaning
and do not fill the grinding bowl
with water for cleaning.
Operation
1. Place the grinder on a flat surface.
2. Assemble the grinding bowl into the motor
base, and then turn the bowl clockwise until a
click sound is heard. When disassembling, turn
the bowl anti-clockwise to detach it.
3. Pour dry spices or coffee beans into the
grinding bowl, it must be noted the quantity of
should not exceed 60g.
4. Attach the transparent cover and plug into the
power outlet.
5. Press and hold the power switch, the appliance
will start operating. Release the power switch,
the appliance will stop operating.
NOTE: Do not operate this
appliance continuously for
more than 30 seconds. Allow
appliance to cool down for 3
minute between two continuous
cycles.
6. View the consistency of ground product
through the transparent cover.
IMPORTANT: If necessary to
remove the cover to check
the consistency of the coffee
grounds, it must be noted you
should never remove the cover
until blades come to a complete
stop.
7. Once the desired grind is obtained, release
power switch and unplug the power cord from
the outlet.
Grinding Tips
This grinder can only grind dry, brittle foods. It
will not grind anything moist, extremely hard, or
gummy such as whole ginger, chocolate, sesame
seeds or nutmeg. Never use the grinder to chop
ice cubes.
Spices, freshly ground peppercorns etc. may have
a strong aroma and a taste that may affect the
flavour of coffee beans ground afterward. You may
want to purchase a separate grinder if you plan to
grind coffee and spices.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Warning:
Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or motor base in
water or liquid.
After each use, always make sure plug is disconnected from the mains power
supply.
• Wash cover with water and mild detergent. The cover is not dishwasher-safe. Rinse thoroughly and
dry.
• Never immerse motor base or filling water into the grinding bowl.
• Wipe the grinding bowl, blades with a lint-free cloth. Extreme care should be exercised as the
blades are sharp.
Troubleshooting
If your Caterlite appliance develops a fault, please check the following table before making a call to the
Helpline.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

Veiligheidstips

• Indien de stroomkabel beschadigd raakt, dient men deze
door een Caterlite-monteur of aanbevolen vakman te laten
vervangen om gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen
(inclusief kinderen) met lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of mentale
beperkingen of door personen met gebrek aan ervaring
of kennis, tenzij zij hierin worden begeleid of zijn opgeleid
in het gebruik van het apparaat door een persoon, die

• Men dient er toezicht op te houden dat kinderen niet met het
apparaat spelen.

Motor Basis
Voor Gebruik
• Pak voorzichtig de koffie molen uit en verwijder
alle verpakkingsmateriaal
• Om alle stof te verwijderen dat misschien is
geaccumuleerd tijdens de verpakking, wrijft u
de maal kom, en de messen proper met een
vochtig, pluisvrij doekje of spons. Wees erg
voorzichtig want de messen zijn scherp.
• Het doorzichtig deksel mag ondergedompeld
worden in water voor het proper maken, droog
goed af.
Opgelet: Dompel de motor basis
nooit in water voor het proper
maken, en vul de maal kom
nooit met water voor het proper
maken.
Bediening
1. Plaats de molen op een vlak oppervlakte.
2. Monteer de maal kom in de motor basis, en
draai de kom dan met de wijzers van de klok
tot u een klik geluid hoort. Wanneer u deze
demonteert, draait u de kom tegen de wijzers
van de klok in om deze los te maken.
3. Giet droge kruiden of koffiebonen in de maal
kom, let op de hoeveelheid mag niet meer zijn
dan 60g.
4. Plaats het transparant deksel op de kom en
steek deze in de stroomuitlaat.
5. Druk en houdt de stroomschakelaar in,
het toestel begint te werken. Laat de
stroomschakelaar los en het toestel zal stoppen
met werken.
Opgelet: Gebruik het toestel
niet continue voor meer dan
30 seconden. Laat het toestel 3
minuten afkoelen tussen twee
voortdurende cycli.
6. Kijk de consistentie van het gemalen product
na door het doorzicht deksel.
BELANGRIJK: Indien het nodig
is om het deksel te verwijderen
om de consistentie van de
gemalen koffie na te kijken
dient u erop te letten dat u het
deksel nooit verwijderd tot de
messen volledig stoppen.
7. Zodra het gewenste product gemalen is, laat
u de stroomschakelaar los en koppelt u de
stroomsnoer los van het stopcontact.
Maal Tips
De molen kan enkel droog en breekbaar voedsel
malen. Het kan niets malen dat vochtig, extreme
hard of kleverig is zoals hele gember, chocolade,
sesamzaad of nootmuskaat. Gebruik de molen
nooit om ijsblokjes te snijden.
Kruiden, vers gemalen pepperkorrels enz. Kunnen
een sterke aroma achterlaten die mogelijks een
effect hebben of de smaak van de gemalen
koffiebonen. U kunt misschien best een andere
molen aankopen indien u zowel koffie als kruiden
wil malen.

Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
Opgelet:
Zorg ervoor dat u het toestel loskoppelt alvorens het proper te maken.
Om te beschermen tegen elektrische shock, zorgt u er best voor dat u de snoer,
stekker of motor basis niet in water of vloeistof dompelt.
Na elk gebruik dient u ervoor te zorgen dat u de snoer goed loskoppelt van de
hoofd stroomschakelaar.
• Maak het deksel proper met water en mild reinigingsmiddel. Het deksel is niet gemaakt voor de
afwasmachine. Goed afspoelen en droog af.
• Dompel de motor basis nooit in water en vul de maal kom nooit met water.
• Veeg de maal kom, messen af met een doek dat vrij is van pluis. Wees erg voorzichtig
want de messen zijn scherp.
Oplossen van problemen
Indien er een storing van uw Caterlite product optreedt, dient u de onderstaande tabel te raadplegen
alvorens contact op te nemen met uw Caterlite dealer of de Hulplijn te bellen.
