CALMEAN Child Watch Touch

Registering the watch
Remember! The device requires inserting a valid SIM card with no PIN lock and at
least 100MB/month Internet data plan to work properly.
New User
If you already have a CALMEAN account, go to the Existing User section
Registration via the web-based Control Panel
1) Go to www.calmean.pl
2) In the upper right corner, you will find the Control Panel button. Click it.
3) On the login/registration page, click the register button and fill in your information in
the form. You can also register using your Google account.
4) You have created your CALMEAN account. Now you can connect the watch to the
system. To do this, enter the unique watch ID in the indicated place. The ID is
located on the box that your watch was shipped in.

5) Now, configure the basic information in the watch: the profile name, under which you
will be visible in your Control Panel, and the phone number and e-mail address of the
main contact. You can also configure an additional emergency contact now in the
same manner, although it is not required. You can learn more about emergency
numbers in the SOS button subsection in the Watch section.
6) These were all the steps required to configure CALMEAN Child Watch. You can now
hand it over to your child. In the Control Panel and in our app, you will find tabs for
watch control and checking basic activity information. You will learn more about them
in the Control Panel and CALMEAN Control Center App sections.
While you are doing this, you can sign up for a full subscription, under which we will
automatically charge a monthly fee and you won't have to worry about it.

Registration via Calmean Control Center
1) Download the Control Center app from Google Play or click the link on our
website www.calmean.com
2) On the login/registration screen, select new account registration and fill in the
form, or register using your Google account.
3) Now click the add device button. It is marked with a + symbol and is located in
the upper left part of the screen.
4) Select the add new CALMEAN device option.
5) In the indicated place, enter the unique ID number of the watch and create a
profile name, under which the watch will be visible in the system. The ID is
located on the box that your watch was shipped in.
6) Now, fill in the contact information of emergency numbers (information for the
main number is required, the second emergency number is optional).
7) These were all the steps required to configure CALMEAN Child Watch. You
can now hand it over to your child. In the Control Panel and in our app, you
will find tabs for watch control and checking basic activity information. You will
learn more about them in the Control Panel and CALMEAN Control Center
App sections.

Existing User
Start with this step if you already have a CALMEAN account
Registration via the web-based Control Panel
1) Go to www.calmean.pl
2) In the upper right corner, you will find the Control Panel button. Click it.
3) On the login/registration page, fill in in the form and click Login. You can also login
using your Google account.
4) Next, go to the Account Settings tab, located in the upper right corner of the Control
Panel
5) Now go to the Add Device tab.
6) Connect the watch to the system by entering its
unique ID number in the indicated place. The ID is
located on the box that your watch was shipped in.

7) Now, configure the profile name under which the watch will be visible in your Control
Panel. If you already have a CALMEAN account, but you have not configured any
devices before, simply fill in the empty emergency number fields. If you have defined
emergency contacts after registering other devices, they will be displayed in the
relevant fields. Remember that you can only modify the information of emergency
numbers in the Settings → Profiles tab.

Watch section.

your Google account.
3) Now click the add device button. It is marked with a + symbol and is located in
the upper left part of the screen.
4) Select the add new CALMEAN device option.
5) Enter the unique watch ID in the indicated place. The ID is located on the box
that your watch was shipped in.
6) Now, fill in the contact information of emergency numbers (information for the

have defined this information previously, it will be displayed in the relevant

Watch
In this section, you will find information
about using the buttons on the watch
and about its integrated features.
● Turning the watch on
○ In order to turn the watch on, press and hold Button 1.
○ If the watch has been registered and has a SIM card inserted (it connects to
the system), holding Button 1 will not result in turning the watch off (it is a
measure preventing the child from turning the watch off by him- or herself).
○ Button 1 allows you to switch the screen on or off when you want to use the
device.
● Charging the watch
○ In order to charge the watch's battery, open the microUSB port and connect
the charger.
● SIM card and ID number
○ The ID number of the watch is printed on the box.
○ In order to reach the SIM card, remove the cover on the side of the watch.
Press the card to remove it from the device.
○ You have to insert SIM card to make the watch work properly.
● Time and date
○ The display of the watch automatically shows the synchronised time. You do
not have to set the right time, the watch will do it itself.
○ The day of the week and the date are displayed below.

● Top bar information
○ The top part of the screen constitutes the so called information bar. The right
hand side indicates the battery level, the left hand side displays the GSM
signal strength.
○ Wi-Fi and GPS network icons may also appear (it means the watch is sending
its location to the system).
● Emergency call
○ In order to make an emergency call to the main emergency contact, press
and hold Button 1.
● Contact list
○ In order to go to the contact list, click the relevant icon (swipe your finger left
once on the screen).
○ Select a number from the list and click it.
○ In order to exit the contact list, click the telephone receiver icon in the middle
of the screen.
○ Only numbers from the contact list can reach the watch, others will hear the
busy signal.
● Telephone call
○ In order to answer incoming calls, press the green receiver button.
○ In order to reject the call, press Button 1.
○ Use the buttons displayed on the screen to adjust the volume level during
calls.
○ In order to hang up, press Button 1.

Control panel functions
This section describes the individual tabs
in the Control Panel, and their assigned
watch control functions
● Maps
○ History of
locations
This tab contains
the map with a
precise location of
your child marked.
In order to provide
as accurate tracking
data as possible, the
watch uses the GPS
network - in this
case, the location is
indicated as a
yellow pin on the map. If the GPS is unavailable, the location can also be
determined using mobile network (LBS) and WiFi network transmitters. In this
case, the area where your child is located will be represented as a grey circle.
The map also displays the movement history as a path. By default, the watch
updates the location every 2 minutes. When the child remains in one place for
a protracted period, the watch goes into sleep to save battery power and
wakes then he or she changes location. On a small-scale map, locations from
places close to one another are merged into a single point, which is divided
into smaller ones when the map is zoomed.
You can also browse archive data from previous days by selecting a date in
the calendar at the top of the screen.
○ All profiles
This tab contains the current location of all your devices. In order to make it
easier for you to find your devices we also present your location on the map
