Operating Guide

INTRODUCTION
This Guide will explain the different screens that are displayed on the watch and what they mean.
This will also take you through the functions of the watch such as messaging and previous
messages.
Step 1 —Watch Basics - Screen Status
The watch screen can tell you about the status of your
watch on the Connect wireless network. Let’s go
through a few screens and what they mean.
This is the normal watch view, and tell us that the watch
is not currently logged into the system. The green
screen tells us that the watch can communicate with
the server, and theWi-Fi signal bars tells us that we are
in good range.
When a watch is logged on to the system with an
attendant, the watch will display the name of the
attendant, (e.g. Jane Doe)
Whenthe watch is logged out of the system, it will show
the name and number of the watch as it is labelled on
the attendant logon screen.
Step 2 —Watch Basics - Screen Status
When the watch is red, but the network is still lit, it
means the watch is offline but still connected to
network.
This screen may indicate that there is server problems
and may need attention by the system administrator.
Step 3 —Watch Basics - Screen Status
When the watch is red, and there is a white X over the
wireless signal bars, it means the watch is offline and
out of range of the Wi-Fi network.
This may indicate issues with your locations Wi-Fi
coverage, or other system issues.
Step 4 —Watch Basics - Screen Status
When the watch is green, this indicates that the watch
is functioning normally and can communicate with the
server. The watch in this picture is connected and
currently logged on with attendant "BluFi Wireless"
If the watch is not currently logged on, it will display the
name of the watch (e.g Fuze 1)in place of the attendant
name.
Step 5 —Watch Basics –Functions
Once a call is received from the floor and assigned to
you, it will display it on the screen.
Step 6 —Watch Basics –Functions
Depending on how your system is configured, you can
then tap on the call once to acknowledge the call. When
the call is acknowledged, you will see a small tick
appear underneath the call.
An acknowledged call will also show a tick on the main
live gaming view if the feature is enabled.
This feature is dependent on system configuration and
may not be enabled at your venue. Please see your
system implementation team for more information.
Step 7 —Watch Basics –Functions
You can also clear the current call by long tapping the
call.
Clearing the call from your watch does NOT clear the
call in the gaming system. It is important to make sure
you complete the call if you clear it from your screen.
Step 8 —Watch Basics - Message Centre
Long pressing on the Time or Attendant name
will take you to the Message Centre.
From the message centre, you can send short
recorded messages, or PTT messages to other
users or managers, or send pre-determined text
messages to other users.
Select a user from the scrollable list on the top.
Press the PTT button and speak into the watch
for a maximum of 30 seconds. Press the PTT
button again to stop recording, and send your
message to the person you have selected. They
will receive it on their watch or handset, and in
their Previous Calls list.
Selecting a user from the scrollable list on the top, and pressing the Message button will bring
up a list of pre-set messages you can send to another user. This is useful for when you may
need to be discreet on the gaming floor.
Tapping the Previous button will take you to the Previous Calls list. From here, you can see past
gaming, PTT, and text messages received.
Swiping from the left, to the right will return you to your idle screen.
On the Previous Calls screen, you will find previous text messages and gaming calls listed
on the top half of the screen, while previous PTT or Voice Calls will be listed on the botom
half of the screen.
Tapping a gaming or text call will display the call full screen, and tapping a PTT or Voice call
will replay the message.
Pressing the Back button will take you back to the Message Centre.
The Previous Calls screen can keep up to the last 10 received calls and PTT messages.
