Step 1: Lock juice jug into motor base
Place the juice jug over the drive shaft on
the motor base and turn until it locks into
position. Then sit the strainer dish on top of
the juice jug, ensuring that the spout on the
strainer dish is aligned with the spout of the
juice jug.
Step 2: Select cone size
Fit the small cone onto the drive shaft and
push down lightly, locking the small cone
into position. For larger fruits, place the large
cone on top of the small cone, after the
small cone has been correctly positioned on
the drive shaft. The large cone will lock into
place.
Step 3: Turn power ‘ON’
Plug the power cord into a 230/240V power
outlet and switch on.
Step 4: Prepare fruit and start juicing
Cut the citrus fruit in half and press fruit
firmly down onto the cone. The motor will
automatically start and the juicing cone will
begin to rotate. Lifting fruit off the cone then
reapplying pressure may cause the cone to
automatically change direction. This is
normal and ensures that the fruit is
completely juiced.
Step 5: Stop juicing
To stop, lift the fruit off the cone. Juicing will
automatically stop.

•Move the fruit from side to side against
the cone whilst juicing to extract
maximum juice.
•More juice is also obtained from fruit
juiced at room temperature.

Congratulations on your purchase of a new
Breville Citrus Fresh Juicer. We at Breville
are very safety conscious. We design and
manufacture consumer products with the
safety of you, our valued customer foremost
in mind. In addition we ask that you exercise
a degree of care when using any electrical
appliance and adhere to the following
precautions:

•Do not immerse the motor base in water
or any other liquid.
•Always use the Citrus Fresh on a dry, level
surface.
•Always ensure the juice jug is locked in
position and the unit is properly and
correctly assembled before unit is
switched on.
•Always turn the power off at the power
outlet and remove the plug before
disassembling the unit. Wait for the motor
to come to a complete standstill before
removing the juice jug.
•The appliance is not intended for use by
young children or infirm persons without
supervision.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended
when in use. Young children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
•Do not let the cord hang over the edge of
a table or counter, touch hot surfaces or
become knotted.
•If the supply cord, plug or actual
appliance becomes damaged in any way
return the entire appliance to the nearest
authorised Breville Service Centre for
examination, replacement or repair.
•Do not place this appliance on or near a
hot gas or electric burner, or where it
could touch a heated oven.
•This appliance is for household use only.
Do not use this appliance for anything
other than its intended use. Do not use
outdoors.

juice from large citrus fruits, such as
grapefruit and large oranges
3. Small Cone perfect for smaller citrus
fruits, such as lemons and limes
4. Scraper Blade at the base of the smaller
cone, prevents accumulation of pulp in
the strainer dish and helps to extract the
maximum juice from the pulp
5. Strainer Dish allows the juice to flow
through to the jug, whilst straining the
pulp and seeds
6. Removable Juice Jug with easy grip
handle and a large 800ml capacity
7. Reversible Drive Shaft drives the cone
when pressure is applied. Motor
automatically reverses direction each time
pressure is applied to the cone

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your Citrus Fresh juicer for the
first time, wash all the removable parts in
warm soapy water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
AFTER EACH USE
•Switch off the unit at the power outlet and
unplug.
•Disassemble the unit and wash all
removable parts in warm, soapy water. Do
not place these parts in the dishwasher as
the high water temperature and harsh
detergents used will ultimately warp or
scratch these parts. It is best to rinse or
wash all removable parts immediately as
dried citrus pulp is difficult to remove and
may stain. If any staining does occur, wipe
the affected part/s with undiluted
dishwashing liquid and rinse thoroughly.
•Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
NEVER IMMERSE THE
MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR
ANY OTHER LIQUID. DO NOT
USE HARSH ABRASIVES OR
DETERGENTS.
