1.1. Placement and location

ȏThis grill is designed for outdoor use only.

ȏNever locate this appliance in an enclosed room, under a sealed overhead structure, or in any type

of enclosed area such as a garage, shed, or breezeway. Keep clear of trees and shrubs.

ȏDo not place this grill under or near windows or vents that can be opened into your home.

ȏThis grill isn’t intended for installation in or on recreational vehicles or boats.

ȏKeep the grill protected from adverse weather, including rain and high winds. Covers are available

that have been specially designed for the Boneless Grills.

IMPORTANT: This is an outdoor appliance. If used indoors, toxic fumes will accumulate and

cause serious bodily injury or death. Ensure your grill is positioned safely away from anything

1.2. Set-up

ȏIt is completely forbidden to light the barbecue without the basalt stones placed on the brackets.

ȏBefore you start cooking, clean the entire grill thoroughly with hot, soapy water. This is necessary

to remove residual solvents, oil and grease used in the manufacturing process. The grates should

also be thoroughly cleaned in the same manner.

ȏThis pellet appliance is designed and approved for palletized, all natural, wood fuel only. Any other

type of fuel (charcoal, gas, etc.) burned in this appliance will void the warranty.

ȏUse only all natural wood pellets designed for burning in grills. Do not use fuel labeled as having additives.

ȏThis barbecue requires a 110 Volt 60Hz 5amp, 3 prong grounded plug.

ȏThe electrical cord installed on your grill is equipped with a three-prong (grounding) plug for your

protection against shock hazard and should be plugged directly into a properly grounded three-

prong receptacle. Do not cut or remove the grounding prong from this plug.

ȏKeep any electrical supply cord away from any heated surfaces.

ȏIf an external electrical source is utilized, this outdoor cooking appliance, when installed, must be

electrically grounded in accordance with the local codes or, in the absence of local codes with the

following:

1.3. Operation

ȏDo not use grill for other than intended use.

ȏAlthough the barbecue can work automatically, we strongly recommend that you never leave the

grill unattended when in use.

ȏNever use the grill if the drip pan is not properly installed. The drip pan should be pushed all the

way to the rack located just under the grill. Fire can result from an improperly installed drip pan.

ȏKeep all electrical supply cords away from the heated areas of the grill.

ȏWhen using the grill, do not touch the grill rack or immediate surroundings as these areas become

extremely hot and can cause burns.

ȏOnly use dry pot holders and do not use a towel or other bulky cloth in place of pot holders. Moist

or damp pot holders used on hot surfaces can cause burns.

ȏDo not heat any unopened glass or metal container of food on the grill. Pressure may build up and

cause the container to burst, possibly resulting in serious personal injury or damage to the grill.

ȏDo not reach over your grill or any other surfaces when hot or in use.

ȏDo not handle the stone when it is hot, you will get burned!

ȏBe careful when the pellet hopper is full, the grill can become top heavy.

IMPORTANT: Do not repair or replace any part of the grill. A qualified technician should per-

form all service. Any repairs made by a non-Boneless Grills approved dealer technician will

void your warranty.

1.4. Precautions regarding children and pets

ȏNever leave children or pets unattended in the area where the grill is being used. Close supervision

of children or pets is necessary when any appliance is in use near children or pets.

ȏDo not store items of interest to children or pets around or below the grill.

ȏNever allow children or pets to sit or stand on any part of the grill.

2. Installation

During transport, the barbecue may have moved from its original position so that a visual in-

spection is required. Inspect the entire barbecue after removing the protective material. Report

2.1. Unpacking

For the process of unpacking and installing your barbecue the presence of at least two people

will be needed. In this way it ensures that you can unpack and remove the barbecue from the

transportation pallet.

Follow these steps:

1. Remove the plastic clamps and open the wooden box that protects your barbecue. With the help

of another person unload it from the pallet with care.

2. Install the two mounting brackets for the volcanic stones supporting them as shown in the illus-

tration. No additional tool is needed to perform this operation. You can remove these brackets

and clean them whenever you want.

3. Install the two trays for liquids. You have to place them across the width of the grid, at the

ends. There is an area with guides for support. You can remove these brackets and clean them

whenever you want. Note the following illustration.

4. Handle your stones carefully! Contact with hard surfaces before, during, or after installation may

crack or develop hairline fractures in the stones. These fractures may expand over time and lead

to product failure.

5. Check the stones to be sure they are in perfect conditions. Put the three stones (for BG01 model,

and six for the BG02 model) on the brackets that you have previously installed.

Remember it is mandatory putting the stones into the grill before to light your barbecue.

2.2. Connecting

It is very important that before you light your barbecue you have followed these instructions:

ȏCheck both inside and outside, and be sure that all is in the correct position as described above.

ȏRemove all traces of plastic or cardboard packaging.

ȏClean the entire grill thoroughly with hot, soapy water. This is necessary to remove residual

solvents, oil and grease used in the manufacturing process. The grates should also be thoroughly

cleaned in the same manner.

ȏConnect the power cord to the connector placed on the right side of the barbecue (remember

that it requires a 110 Volt 60Hz 5amp, 3 prong grounded plug).

3. Using your barbecue

3.1. Startup

Your Boneless Grills combines many unique features with time proven pellet-burning tech-

nology. Together they give you perfect control, quick, savory and absolutely fool-proof cooking

results every time.

2. Turn ON the switch placed on the right side; the barbecue will be in “STAND BY” mode.

3. Pressing the “ON” button on the touch screen activates the “Automatic Start-Up Procedure” that

sets the SET POINT to the minimum pre-heating temperature (140ºF).

3.2. Grilling

Select “Recipes” and feel like

a gourmet. If you choose this

option you will be able to

select between “Thickness” or

“Doneness” mode.

Select one of the pro-

can select the temperature you
