Congratulations on your choice of the Air Washer 2055.
Did you know that dry room air
◆Causes the membranes in your respiratory system to dry out, and also causes
chapped lips and stinging eyes?

Usage tips
The usage of humidifiers
◆Is particularly advisable during the winter,
◆However, it does not take the place of the regular airing of rooms.
◆Should provide a recommended relative humidity of 40 – 60 %.
Appliance description
The 2055 air washer
– Washes and humidifies the air without filter mats,
– Operates quietly at two power settings,
– Is suitable for rooms of up to 600 square ft in size,
– Is manufactured from high-quality, long-life components.
– Has a large cleansing effect due to vaporisation. Individual dust particles are
ionised (charged) and so adhere to the humidification discs.
Inside the air washer, special humidification discs rotate through a water bath;
during this process, the air flowing past the discs is cleaned of contaminants in a
natural manner – in the same way that the air is washed clean by rain in nature.
Humidification is performed using the self-regulating cold evaporation principle.
The air washer thus produces an optimal level of humidity without the need for
additional control equipment.
A specially tuned antibacterial protection system (Ionic Silver Stick) prevents
germ formation in the water bath. Thus, no chemical additives are necessary to
disinfect the water.
Safety instructions
– Before using the air washer, read through the instructions for use completely
and retain them in a safe place for later reference.
– Only use the air washer indoors and within the specified technical data.
Improper use can be hazardous to then health and lead to injury.
– Children cannot recognise the hazards associated with the usage of electrical
appliances. For this reason, always supervise children when they are near the
air washer.
– Persons who are not familiar with the instructions for use, as well as children
and persons under the influence of medication, alcohol, or drugs are not
permitted to operate the appliance, or are only permitted to operate it under
supervision.

Laitekuvaus
Ilmanpuhdistin 2055
– puhdistaa ja kosteuttaa ilman, eikä siinä ole suodattimia
– toimii äänettömästi kahdessa tehoasennossa
– soveltuu aina 50 m2:n tilakokoihin saakka
– on valmistettu korkeatasoisista komponenteista, joilla on pitkä käyttöikä.
– on esi-ionisaation ansiosta suuri puhdistusteholtaan. Yksittäisiä pölyhiukkasia
ionisoidaan (ladataan), minkä seurauksena ne tarttuvat kosteutuskiekkoihin.
Ilmanpuhdistimen sisällä pyörivät erityiset kosteutuskiekot vesikylvyn kautta,
jolloin ohitse virtaava ilma puhdistuu luonnollisella tavalla epäpuhtauksista, aivan
kuten sadevesi puhdistaa luonnossa.
Ilmankosteutus tapahtuu kylmäkosteutuksen itsesäätöperiaatteen mukaisesti.
Ilmanpuhdistin saa aikaan optimaalisen ilmankosteuden ilman lisäohjauslaitteita.
Erityisesti tähän tarkoitukseen sovitettu antibakteerinen suojajärjestelmä (Ionic
Silver Stick) estää mikrobinmuodostusta vesihauteessa. Tämän takia ei tarvita
kemiallisia lisäaineita veden desinfioimiseksi.
Turvaohjeita
– Lue käyttöohje kokonaan ennen ilmanpuhdistimen käyttöönottoa ja säilytä se
myöhempää käyttöä varten.
– Käytä ilmanpuhdistinta ainoastaan asuintiloissa sekä ohjeessa mainitut
tekniset tiedot huomioon ottaen. Ohjeidenvastainen käyttö saattaa vaarantaa
terveyden ja aiheuttaa hengenvaaran.
– Lapset eivät ymmärrä sähkölaitteiden vaaroja. Tämän takia lapsia on aina
pidettävä silmällä heidän ollessaan ilmanpuhdistimen läheisyydessä.
– Henkilöt, jotka eivät ole tutustuneet käyttöohjeeseen, samoin kuin lapset sekä
henkilöt, jotka ovat lääkkeiden, alkoholin tai huumeiden vaikutuksen alaisina,
eivät saa käyttää laitetta tai saavat käyttää laitetta ainoastaan valvonnan
alaisina.

Unpacking
◆Remove the air washer carefully from the packaging; the top section is only
placed on the base tray; it is not attached.
Remove all strips of cardboard from the disc pack (5).
◆Use the original packaging for storing the appliance if you do not use the air
washer all year round.
◆All the packaging is made of environmentally compatible materials and can be
placed in the appropriate local waste disposal containers.

Laitteen sijoitus

Setting up
Check the mains rating information on the rating plate.
Place the air washer on the floor, or a flat, dry surface in the room.
◆The rating plate is on the underside of the base tray (a).
◆Ensure that there is good access to the air washer and that there is sufficient
space for maintenance and cleaning.
◆For increased evaporation performance in large rooms, place the air washer
near a radiator (do not exceed max. temperature of 122 °F).

The overall length of the power cable is approx. 2 m and is adjustable.

1. Insert a screwdriver in the hole as shown.
2. Press out (2)

Filling/re-filling the tank
Only fill the water tank with fresh, cold tap water.
Do not put the water tank under pressure, e.g. by filling with
carbonated mineral water.
Do not add any essential oils or fragrances to the water; the plastic
material might then become discoloured and damaged.
Close bayonet cap (b) fully to prevent water from leaking out of the
tank.

Connect the air washer to the mains supply. Place the rotary switch in position •
