SAFETY WARNINGS

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN ELECTRIC SHOCK,

FIRE AND/OR SERIOUS INJURY.

WORK IN SAFE CONDITIONS AND A WELL-LIT WORK AREA.

DO NOT EXPOSE THE HEATED PRODUCTS TO RAIN OR WET CONDITIONS.

WATER WILL INCREASE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.

1. Do not use the heated products under the inuence of drugs, alcohol, medication or fatigue.

Stay alert when using the heated products.

2. This product must not be used by:

A) a child

B) a person insensitive to heat

C) a person with poor blood circulation

3. Handle the products power cord with care. Do not disconnect the products by pulling on the wire,

and do not carry the products by the cord. Keep the cord away from materials or

tools that could damage it. (e.g., chemical products, cutting tools, etc.)

4. Do not use the products if the start button is defective or the electrical system shows signs

of a defect. Contact the Groupe BBH Inc. customer service immediately.

5. Have your heated products serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts.

6. Never use if inner liner is wet.

7. Shut off power immediately if you feel any discomfort.

8. Do not puncture products with pins, needles or other objects that could damage the electrical wires.

9. Do not allow the electrical wire to be pinched or twisted.

10. Store out of the reach of children.

11. Always disconnect the battery pack from the heated products before storing it.

12. Use the products in accordance with all safety rules and operating instructions.

13. Always turn off the device and disconnect the batteries when it is not in use or under supervision.

14. Check your ngers regularly for reddening of the skin. Excess high heat outputs over long

periods of time can cause burns

15. Avoid wearing metal jewelry on your hands which could conduct heat.

CARE

THE BATTERY MUST NOT BE WASHED OR IMMERSED IN WATER.

• The drying temperature may not exceed 60 ºC / 140 ºF, therefore, the heated products should

never be dried in the dryer or on the heater.

• Soiled products should be cleaned using a damp cloth or, when necessary, with a clothes brush.

• The products should never be washed in the washing machine or by hand.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Every heated products from Groupe BBH Inc. is warranted to the original purchaser, to be free of

material and manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year* after the purchase date. With certain

reservations and exceptions, Groupe BBH Inc. agrees to repair or replace any part of the heated

products that has been conrmed to be defective after inspection by Groupe BBH Inc.

When returning an item sold by Groupe BBH Inc, the return shipping costs may be deducted from

your refund based on the reason for the return. Otherwise, the return costs will be fully covered by

Groupe BBH Inc. A copy of the proof of purchase must be submitted when the product is returned.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by repair or attempted repair by a third party, other

than the Groupe BBH Inc, or improper use, tampering, misuse, normal wear and tear or accidents.

*This warranty does not cover the GLP7421 LITHIUM-POLYMER battery; there is a separate and

distinct warranty available for a battery pack.

Warranty registration is not necessary to acquire the applicable warranty on Groupe BBH Inc. heated

products. The manufacturing date of the product will be used to determine the warranty period, if no

proof of purchase is provided at the time the warranty service is requested.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT DESCRI-

BED HEREIN IS A CONDITION OF THE CONTRACT TO PURCHASE ANY PRODUCT FROM-

GROUPE BBH INC. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THIS CONDITION, YOU MUST NOT PURCHASE THE

PRODUCT. IN NO CASE SHALL GROUPE BBH INC MAY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGE,

SPECIAL OR INDIRECT, PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR EXPENSES, LAWYERS' FEES, EXPENSES, LOSSES

OR DELAYS INCIDENTAL TO ANY DAMAGE, FAILURE OR DEFECT OF ANY PRODUCT, INCLUDING

IN PARTICULAR PROFIT LOSSES. SINCE SOME STATES AND PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW FOR

THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGE, THE ABOVE RESTRICTIONS

MAY NOT APPLY. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND REPLACES ANY OTHER EXPRESS WAR-

RANTY, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. GROUPE BBH INC.

WAIVES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY

OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT THAT

SUCH A WAIVER IS NOT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DURATION OF SUCH IMPLIED GUARANTEES

SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE APPLICABLE PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS GUARANTEE, AS DESCRIBED

ABOVE. SINCE SOME STATES AND PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITS ON THE DURATION OF

IMPLIED GUARANTEES, THE ABOVE RESTRICTIONS MAY NOT APPLY. THIS POLICY PROVIDES

THE USER WITH SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AS WELL AS OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM PRO-

VINCE TO PROVINCE.

RECHARGE INSTRUCTIONS

BATTERY CHARGING TIME IS APPROXIMATELY 4.5 HOURS.

1. Turn off the products.

2. Remove the battery from the pocket and unplug it.

3. Connect the wall charger connector to the battery.

4. A red light will light up on the wall charger.

5. When the battery reaches it's maximum charge, the light will turn green.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK

AND SERIOUS BODY INJURY.

NEVER REMOVE THE BATTERY FROM THE TEXTILE CASE.

1. Use only the battery sold with this heated products.

2. Rechargeable batteries should always be removed from the gloves before recharging.

3. Make sure the batteries are at room temperature when recharging. It must be recharged at

temperatures between 10 ºC and 45 ºC (50 ºF to 113 ºF).

4. Recharge the battery only with the charger recommended by the manufacturer.

5. Do not use the battery in humid or wet areas, in explosive environments or near

a bright or smoking ame or a heat source.

6. Fully charge the battery before rst use.

7. Recharge the batteries in an open area. Keep the batteries away from ammable materials.

8. Recharge the battery completely regularly, and every 6 months if not in use.

9. It is recommended to store the battery in an environment of -10 °C to 30 °C (14 °F to 86 °F)

is recommended. Do not store the battery in a place where the temperature could exceed 50 °C

(120 °F),such as a vehicle or in the sun.

10. Do not expose or immerse in liquids. Do not put the batteries in contact with water.

11. Never attempt to open, disable or repair the battery yourself.

12. When the battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects that can

make a connection from one terminal to another or damage the battery.

13. Regularly examine the plugs and the batteries. In case of damage, the product must not be used.

14. Store the battery in a dry, moisture-free location.

15. Always disconnect the battery when storing the products.

16. Handle the battery carefully. Avoid any shock that could damage the battery or housing.

17. Never disconnect or transport the charger through the cord.

18. Do not use oil or solvents to clean it since this could damage the casing.

19. When the battery is unserviceable, dispose of it properly by contacting a recognized

organization that manages hazardous waste.

20. Do not use battery if you notice a change of shape, over-heating or if rust or corrosion on the

connector is found.

21. In the event of a defect, if the battery pack acid leaks and comes into contact with the skin,

rinse thoroughly with water and mild soap and consult a doctor. 5

LIMITED WARRANTY

Each GLP7421 battery sold with Groupe BBH heated products are guaranteed, to the original pur-

chaser, to be free of material and manufacturing defects for a period of (1) year following the date of
