Getting Started
Introduction
Your new Bauhn®Indoor/Outdoor antenna can be easily mounted, vertically or
horizontally, in your home or caravan. It is weather resistant, which means water
splashing from any direction will have no harmful effect.
The Bauhn®Indoor/Outdoor antenna is ideal for most weak to medium signal
areas. The antenna is capable of receiving the following signals:
• Local digital terrestrial signals, analog signals and FM radio signals
• Local and regional UHF and VHF signals
• Both horizontal and vertical signals
The Bauhn®Indoor/Outdoor antenna consists of the parts pictured opposite,
which must be assembled according to the instructions on the following
pages. The antenna can be mounted onto a mast (not included), which can be
purchased from your local hardware store.
AntennaBasics
Variables unrelated to product performance can affect reception. These include
obstacles and terrain between the transmitter and your antenna, radiated energy
from electronic components and building materials such as stucco or aluminium
panelling. To ensure proper reception, please consider these factors during
installation.

Step-by-stepinstallationguide
Unpack the antenna and accessories but keep all packaging materials until you
have made sure your new antenna is undamaged and in good working order.
Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so
ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.
Using the illustration of all parts (page 6) as a guide, start assembling the antenna
to mount it onto a mast (diameter of the mast should be 15-56mm) as follows:
Fig. 1
Fig. 2
3. If you are mounting the antenna vertically, place
the U-bar against the Angle-M, as shown in
Fig. 2.
