Overview
Motion Detector (SWM300A) adopts pyroelectric infrared sensor（PIR），to be
used to detect movement. According to human movement changes, you can use it for
intelligent lighting or burglar alarm. It brings convenience to home life, and protects your
property by bringing more security for your family.

system updates.

If a Motion Detector which is added to gateway detects that a human moves in a
room, the intelligent gateway will send out alarm and push this message to a smart terminal
such as a smart phone in time. Please refer to the ’BASE user guide’ for the detailed
operation.

Installation instruction
4.1 Installation location
• Recommend to install as shown in Figure 1 or Figure 2.
• Do not install as shown in Figure 3
• Do not install in a location facing sunlight.
• Do not install in a location facing air condition of fan.
• The detection area cannot have a large barrier.
• The installation location must be less than 5 meters from the detection area.
• Installation height of 1.5 meters to 2 meters is appropriate

4.2 Installation method
• Select a suitable installation location and ensure that are no hidden objects such
as wires or water pipes in the wall.
• Drill two holes of 5mm in the mounting base referring to screw holes spacing on
the bracket, see Figure 4.
• Plug the 2 expansions in the kit into the hole.
• Fix the bracket to the wall by 2 screws in the kit, taking care to tighten the screws.
• Hang the detector on the bracket.

5 Operation instruction
5.1 Add to BASE application
SWM188A (gateway) needs to be added to the BASE system first, please refer to
the 'BASE User Guide' for details.

5.2 Status Description
• Red indicator flashes once: Somebody here.
• Green icon in APP: Normal status.
• Red icon in APP and shows 'Has been
moved'.
Illegal demolition.
Tips：Motion Detector needs preheat for 1 minute (the red indicator flashing) after
loading the battery, and no operation can be done during this period.
