Operating Guidelines
PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD
To prevent equipment damage,
serious injury, or death:
Use only for the intended
purpose of loosening,
leveling, or clearing soil.
Prior to use, clear the area of
people, especially small
children.
Do not use as a lifting device.
BB-LR-0010
1. The attachment works on the same basic principle
as an ordinary garden rake. First, it lters material
through the rake teeth, breaking up large pieces of
soil. Secondly, it moves material from high places
into low places, leveling the area.
2. Make sure the rake is securely attached to the
loader before use.
3. Use the rake in the forward direction while keeping
the back of the rake close to the ground.
4. Pull the rake backwards with the front tilted slightly
forward to level and smooth the ground. Back
dragging with the rake is best for nishing work or
preparing the top layer for a seedbed.
Note: Back dragging will pull large unwanted debris
(rocks, sticks, stones, etc.) along with the rake .
