This Instruction Manual includes product description and a step-by-step
guide to operate this unit. Please read this manual carefully and keep this for
troubleshooting and future reference.

Avanson VN-500 condenser USB microphone aims to deliver excellent audio
performance as well as superior portability to users. Features such as MUTE
function and volume control, as well as the monitor function, offer users more
freedom over the audio performance in different use cases. With the cardioid
polar pattern design and USB compatibility, the VN-500 is suitable for numerous
applications such as audio recording, live streaming, podcast and so on.

1 . Connect the microphone with the computer using the included USB cable. Your
computer will recognize the microphone and install the driver automatically.
2 . Right click the speaker icon on the bottom right corner, and click as “Open Sound
settings”.
3 . Select “Sound Control Panel” on the top right corner.
4 . Under the “Recording” tab, right click the “USB 192K Audio Device” and select
“Set as Default Device” and “Set as Default Communication Device”.
This will enable the microphone as input device for all your applications in this
computer.

5 . Double click the microphone device to open Microphone Properties, and adjust the
input volume under the “Level” tab.
1 . Connect the microphone with the computer using the included USB cable. Your
computer will recognize the microphone and install the driver automatically.

3 . Click on “Sound” to open the sound preference settings.
4 . Click on the “Input” tab and select “USB 192K Audio Device” as your input device.

1 . Cannot recognize microphone - If your computer cannot recognize the microphone,
please restart your computer and try to connect the microphone through a different
USB port.
2 . No audio from microphone - If the microphone is recognized but there is no audio,
please make sure the system sound is not muted on your computer. And check if the
MUTE indicator is red, which means the microphone is muted. If your computer is
running Windows 10 and there is no sound coming from the microphone, please go
to Setting>Privacy>Microphone and make sure to turn on the “Allow apps to access
your microphone” option.
3 . Volume is too low/high - Adjust the microphone volume through the “Sound Control
Panel” (or system preferences for MAC OS). You can also adjust the volume through
the volume knob on the microphone.
4 . Protect the microphone - Avoid putting the microphone in environment with high
humidity for extended period of time.
5 . Microphone Placement - It’s recommended to have the audio source 6”/15cm away
from the microphone for best audio performance.

Avanson warrants Avanson products against evident defects in material and
workmanship for a period of six months from the date of original purchase for use.
This warranty is valid exclusively in the US and applies only to the original owner.
If you discover a defect covered by this warranty, Avanson will repair or replace the
product at our sole discretion using new or refurbished components.
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing that arise from the correct use of the
device. It is limited to defects in materials or workmanship and does not cover
electrical or mechanical damage resulting from abuse, misuse, unauthorized
modification, lack of reasonable care, extreme heat, cold, damage due to natural forces,
or corrosive environments. This warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear
on covers, housing, connectors, and accessories.

Product failures not covered by this warranty:
If your Avanson product fails or does not perform as warranted, your sole recourse
shall be to replace or repair it as described above. Avanson will not be liable to you
or anyone else for any damages that result from the failure of this product.
These damages include, but are not limited to, the following: lost profits, lost savings,
lost data, damage to other equipment, and incidental or consequential damages
arising from the use of or inability to use this product.
IN NO EVENT AVANSON SHALL BE LIABLE FOR MORE THAN THE AMOUNT
OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE, NOT TO EXCEED THE CURRENT LIST PRICE
OF THE PRODUCT.
