5. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or
aerosol cleaners. Clean only with a dry cloth.
6. Do not use this product near water – for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen
sink, or laundry tub; in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, etc.
7. Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable
operation of the product and to protect if from overheating. Do not block or cover
these openings. Never block by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar
surface. Do not place this product in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack
unless you provide proper ventilation or are adhering to the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left
unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and
disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the product due to

10. Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch
dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock.
Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
11. Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may
expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified
service personnel.

Power Your Clock Radio
Install Backup Batteries
Install two AAA alkaline batteries (not supplied) to
provide backup power to maintain the correct clock time
in the event of an AC power interruption.
1. Press the tab and lift the battery compartment door
at the bottom of your clock radio.
2. Insert two AAA batteries into the battery
compartment, matching the polarity symbols (+ and
–) marked inside.
3. Replace the door.
Prepare Remote Control
The remote control comes with a battery installed. Remove the
plastic tab before using the remote. Replace the battery if your
remote control stops operating properly.
1. Press the battery compartment tray tab and slide the battery compartment out.
2. Insert a new CR2025 battery, positive (+) side up, and slide the tray back until it clicks.

For optimum battery performance, use alkaline batteries for the main unit.
Insert or replace batteries when ( appears on the clock radio display.
Keep button-cell battery away from children. Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.
Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. Do not mix old and new batteries, different
types of batteries (alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
If you do not plan to use the clock radio for a long time, remove the battery. Batteries can leak
chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like.
Connect to AC power
Connect the supplied AC adapter
to the DC IN 9V jack on the
rear of the unit and plug into a
standard AC outlet. The clock
radio enters standby mode and
the time appears on the display.

Basic Operation
Activate/Deactivate Standby Mode
1. In standby mode, press G to turn on the clock radio.
2. After one second, the system automatically enters iPod
mode.
3. Press G again to switch to standby mode. The current
clock time appears on the display.
nNotes:
When you turn on the system for the first time, iPod mode activates by default.
The system activates the last source used when you power on again if your iPod/iPhone is not
docked.
If no batteries are installed or battery power is low, ( will display.
Volume Up or Down
Press or to increase or decrease the volume (0 to 16).
MUTE
1. Press to decrease the volume to the minimum or press on remote control to
mute directly.
2. Press , or to exit mute mode.
Listen to the Radio
1. Fully extend the FM antenna wires.
2. Press SOURCE to enter radio mode. The radio frequency appears after one second.
3. Adjust the antenna to get the best radio reception.
Manual Tuning
Press or briefly to tune to a higher or lower frequency.
Auto Tuning
Press and hold or for more than 1 second to automatically tune to a higher or lower
frequency. Tuning automatically stops when it detects a station signal.
n Note: If there is no station found, auto tuning will stop at the starting frequency.

Store and Recall Preset Stations
You can store up to 10 preset FM stations.
In radio play mode,
1. Press or to select a station.
2. Press and hold PRESET for 2 seconds to enter program
mode. PRESET displays and the memory digits flash.
The clock radio will exit preset mode automatically if no
buttons are pressed within 4 seconds.
3. Press PRESET repeatedly to select a desired preset
location (01 to 10) to store the station.
4. Press and hold PRESET to confirm.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to program.
6. Press PRESET repeatedly to listen to your preset radio station.
Listen to Music on Your iPod/iPhone
Docking and Charging Your iPod/iPhone
1. Press SOURCE to select iPod mode. The icon IPOD appears in the display.
2. Insert the cradle that fits your iPod/iPhone model, then plug
in your iPod/iPhone. The table below shows cradle markings
(on the back of the cradle) and iPod models. The iPod/iPhone
charges automatically while it is connected.

Play Your Music
1. Dock your iPod/iPhone to the clock radio.
2. The clock radio automatically switches to iPod mode. If your iPod is playing, the clock
radio will play the iPod automatically. Otherwise press play on your iPod or on the
clock radio or remote control to start playback.
3. Press or to adjust the volume.
4. Press or to skip the track forward / backward. Press and hold or to fast
forward / backward.
5. Press to pause the playback. Press again to resume playback. Press TIME SET
to stop the playback.
Listen to an External Audio Source
1. Use a 1/8” (3.5 mm) audio cable (not supplied) to connect the audio source’s headphone
jack to the AUX IN jack on your clock
radio.
2. Press SOURCE to enter AUX IN mode.
The icon for AUX appears.
3. Use the controls on your connected
device to play.

Setting Clock Time
1. Press and hold TIME SET for 2 sec. The clock digits (hour
and minutes) flash.
2. Press or to set the hour. Then press or to set the minutes.
3. Press TIME SET again to confirm the clock setting.
nNotes:
You can set clock time in radio, aux in or standby mode.
Complete each step within 10 seconds or the clock radio will exit the clock setting mode.
The clock uses a 12 hour format with AM and PM indicators.
Using Time Sync Function
When your iPod/ iPhone is docked in the unit, press TIME SYNC on the clock radio. The time
of the clock radio will synchronize with the time from your iPod/ iPhone.
nNotes:
Make sure you select iPod source when you use time sync function.
Time Sync can be used in most iPod/ iPhone models, except older models such as iPod mini, iPod 3G, 4G.

Setting Alarms
Set the alarm time
To set alarm 1:
1. Press and hold on the radio or AL on the remote for 2 seconds to enter the alarm
setting mode. The clock digits flash.
2. Press or to set the hour. Then press or to set the minutes. Make sure to set
AM/PM correctly.
3. Briefly press or AL to confirm.
4. Press or AL repeatedly to select a wake-up mode:
Buzzer ( ), Radio ( ), iPod ( ). The selected alarm
source appears in the display.
Refer to the above steps to set alarm 2, using the buttons or AL instead of or AL.
Stop or cancel the alarm
When the alarm sounds, press , AL, ( , AL) or G once to stop the alarm for 24
hours, and the clock radio goes back to the mode before the alarm activated.
To cancel the alarm completely, press or AL ( or AL) repeatedly until the alarm
indicator disappears.
nNotes:
To wake up to an iPod/iPhone, it must be properly docked and turned off. If your iPod/iPhone is not
docked, the alarm defaults to buzzer.
When you set the wake-up mode to radio/ iPod, the station or the song you last listened to will
switch on at the volume before your clock radio was turned off.
The alarm will automatically stop after 20 minutes if no buttons are pressed.
If two alarms are set, the first alarm automatically enters 24 hour reset when the second alarm
sounds.
Snooze
1. When the alarm sounds, press SNOOZE/SLEEP/
DIMMER. The SNOOZE indicator and 10 appear in the
display to show the snooze time for 5 seconds, then it
reverts back to clock time. The alarm sounds automatically
10 minutes later.
2. Repeatedly press SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER within 5 seconds. Each time you press
the SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER, the snooze time increases by 10 minutes, up to a
maximum of 60 minutes.
3. After snooze is set, press SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER again to view the remaining
snooze time for 5 seconds.
