data and software by leveraging your existing

investments in Autodesk design software and

data; Aggregate dierent levels of mapping (GIS),

civil engineering (CAD), building (BIM), and

utilities (network) detail in a single model.

• Reduce the cost of the urban design process by

minimizing the need for costly physical models.

• Help urban design stakeholders explore and

interact with 3D city models by creating a

common environment for sharing information to

foster collaboration.

external audiences via the web, helping to provide

project reviewers, stakeholders, and citizens with

the ability to view and gather information about

proposed city and urban plans.

Display, Explore, and Share City Models

Autodesk LandXplorer Server and Autodesk

LandXplorer Studio Professional can help provide

several advantages for city planning and urban

change. By using these solutions to construct a city

model, you can enhance the benefits from your

existing investment in expensive data sets. You can

minimize the need to duplicate data or the expense

of building physical models to view and highlight

changes. You’ll be able to more eectively share

ideas and scenarios with stakeholders by creating

movies, high-resolution scene renderings, and

panoramas of the city. And the ability to incorporate

numerous sources of data helps make it easier to

illustrate the impact that urban planning, tourism or

economic development projects have on a city and

its environment.
