Thank you for choosing Auray.
The Auray ISO-ARMOR-2 is a lightweight and compact
isolation chamber that is specifically designed for recording
or broadcasting in acoustically untreated rooms. Ideal for
capturing vocals, voiceovers, or podcasts, it mounts directly
onto your microphone and minimizes ambient room noise
and acoustic reflections with a double layer of acoustic
isolation. The ISO-ARMOR-2 is constructed with high-density
open-cell acoustic foam that surrounds the microphone,
isolates, and absorbs sound. A perforated aluminum shield
prevents bounce-back reflections while it blocks room
noise from being recorded. The specialized design focuses
the voice to an isolated microphone in order to capture
its complete spectrum with minimal sound coloration. To
eliminate unwanted noise from vibrations, an integrated
shock mount adapter securely cradles the microphone with
heavy-duty bands. The double-layered removable nylon pop
filter prevents vocal pops or plosives.

Setting Up the ISO-ARMOR-2
1. Loosen the locking screw,
and remove the pop screen
by sliding it up and out of the
bracket. 1
2. Remove the shock mount
adapter from the microphone
hole. 2
3. Insert the bottom end of the
microphone into the center
of the shock mount so the
grille is visible over the shock

the microphone hole for easy
access. 4
Make sure the microphone
and shock mount adapter are
held securely in place by the
