AP-MNT-MP10-X Mount Kit
Installation Guide

The AP-MNT-MP10-X is a low-profile mount kit for attaching AP-5xx series to existing W2/W3 wall mounts. This
mount kit is designed to work with the pre-assembled bracket on the back of the access points.
Installation
1. Route the Ethernet cable(s) through the opening on the new mount (see Figure 1).

2. Press on the spring loaded slider of the W2/W3 mount, making sure the center post of the existing mount fits
through the center hole of the new mount (see Figure 2).

A #1 Phillips Head screwdriver is required for installation.
This installation guide shows the AP-220-MNT-W3 mount instructions.
AP-MNT-MP10-X Mount Kit works with W2 and W3 mounts.

3. Release the spring loaded slider so it slides back to its original position and holds the new mount in place.
4. Use a #1 Phillips Head screwdriver to tighten the security screw on the existing mount.

5. If needed, route and tie wrap Ethernet cables to cable lances.
6. Plug Ethernet connector(s) into port E0/E1 on the back of the AP.
7. Slide the AP-5xx onto the rail and use the included hook tool to pull the lock ring out.

8. Slide the AP bracket fully into place and release the lock ring.

9. Use a #1 Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screw securing the AP to the metal mount bracket.
