1.4. Specification
The AMS-E3011 RIO is a remote IO expansion module with a low power consumption feature
which is offered for using in SCADA systems with limited number of Input/output. It can
connect to any RTU or PLC through RS485, RS232 or CAN bus with the standard Modbus
communication protocol. Moreover, AMS-E3011 RIO can be used as a standalone device to
transmit numerous IO with twisted pair cable up to 3000ft (900m) farther. This product
benefit from a Cortex-M3 industrial-grade CPU, integrated power supply and a number of
accurate analog and digital inputs/outputs in order to data acquisition and perform
supervisory commands.
