You are now a user of the newest generation kitchen extractor hood of OKF921G or
OKF621G type.
This hood has been designed and manufactured specially with a view to satisfying your
expectations and it will certainly constitute a tting element of a modern kitchen. The modern
structural solutions and the newest technologies used in production of this hood guarantee
its high effectiveness and good appearance.
Please read these instructions carefully before installing the hood. They will make you avoid
mistakes during installation and operation of the hood.

GUIDELINES CONCERNING SAFE USE
RECOMMENDATIONS::
1. Check if the voltage value provided on the rating plate corresponds to the local
electric supply parameters.
2. Uncoil and straighten the electric supply cable before the installation.
3. This equipment is not to be used by persons (to include children) with limited physical,
sensory, or mental capacities, unless they do so under supervision or in accordance
with the equipment use instructions given to them by persons who are responsible
for their safety.
Children must be prevented from playing with the ventilation hood.
CAUTION:
1. The kitchen ventilation hood, which serves the purpose of extracting kitchen va-
pors to the outside of a room (working in an exhaust mode) must be connected to
a proper ventilation channel (it must not be connected to chimney ducts, smoke,
and combustion gas ducts which are used).
2. The equipment must be mounted at the height of at least 650 m above the work
plate of the stove. The hood works the most effectively at the height of 650 mm to
750 mm.
3. Anopenamemustnotbeleftunderthekitchenventilationhood.
4. Dishes that are fried on fats should be constantly monitored as overheated fat can
easily be become ignited.
5. Thefatlterofthekitchenventilationhoodmustbereplacedevery2months.A
lterthatcontainstoomuchfatinammable.
6. The equipment should be unplugged from the power outlet before replacing the
lterorrepairingtheventilationhood.
7. Ifotherequipmentwithnon-electricpowersupply(suchasliquidfuelstoves,ow
heaters, or water heaters) is used in the same room in addition to the ventilation
hood, then proper ventilation (supply of air) of the room should be assured. Safe
usage is possible when, the maximum negative pressure in the room where the
ventilation hood and other equipment using air in the combustion process are
located, during the simultaneous operation of the ventilation hood and that equ-
ipment, does not exceed 0.004 milibars (this provision does not apply when the
kitchen ventilation hood is used to absorb scents).
8. When connecting the ventilation hood to a 230 V power supply network, it must be
connected to an electric outlet which is in good condition.
9. The ventilation hood should not be used as a support platform for persons present
in the kitchen.
10. The ventilation hood should be cleaned frequently, both on the outside and inside
(AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH), in accordance with the maintenance instructions
provided in this manual. Failure to observe the principles concerning cleaning of
theventilationhoodandchanginglterswillleadtoarehazard.
Themanufacturershallnotbeheldresponsibleforanypossibledamageorres
caused by the equipment due to the failure to observe the instructions provided in
this manual.

Electric supply requirements
It is necessary to check if the voltage value stated on the rating plate corresponds to the
electric supply parameters in the house and that the electric supply is marked as ~ (alter-
natingcurrent).Theventilationhoodisanelectricequipmentmadeinthe1stclassofre
protection and it must be connected to an outlet with working protection circuit.
Caution! If a supply cable becomes damage, it must be replaced by the staff of a
professional repair shop.

When disposing of the device,
do not bring it to regular munici-
pal waste containers. Instead,
bring it to electrical and electro-
nic waste recycling and reuse
center. A relevant label has been
put on the device, its instructions
manual, or on the package.
The device has been manufactured of re-
cyclable materials. By bringing old device to
recycling collection center, you show that you
care about nature.
Ask your local environmental care authority
for information on location of such facilities.
This piece of equipment is marked in accordance with the European Directive 2002/96/EC
on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
WARNING: Before the ventilation hood is connected to the power supply network
and before its proper operation is checked, it is necessary to verify if the supply
cable has been installed properly and has NOT been crushed by the ventilation hood
during the assembly.

INSTALLATION
Installation of the ventilation hood in the exhaust mode
(extracting of used air to the outside)
1.Fixthewallsectionoftheventilationhoodtothewall,usingxingpinsandscrews
from the installation packet, at a height so that the suspended ventilation hood in on
the level of 650-750 mm over the top of the stove.
2.Removethefatlteroftheventilationhood(thenumberoflters
depends on the type of the hood) by unfastening the snap fastener.
3. The hood must be placed with its installation opening in the back
against the wall over the installed wall section so that the upper edge of
the opening slides into the wall section (see the drawing beside).
4. The ventilation hood should then be leveled using a hand level and, if necessary,
its position should be corrected by screwing in or out of the leveling screws located
on the body of the hood over the installation opening. After the ventilation hood is
leveled, a securing screw should be screwed in in the middle of the wall section.

5. Put the air outlet pipe into the connection port of the air outlet at the ventilation
hoodbodyandxitwith3smallscrews(thepipeandthescrewsaresupplied).The
other end of the pipe (marked HL) connect with the ventilation channel.
6. Install the grip of the upper chimney masking element in the axis of symmetry of
the ventilation hood (over the ventilation duct).

9.Re-installthefatlter(thenumberofltersdependsonthetypeofventilation
hood).
10. Connect the ventilation hood to the power supply network.
7.Takeofftheprotectivelmfromthechimneymaskingelements.
8.Setthelengthoftheuppermaskingelementasrequiredandxittothegripwith
two side screws (item A1 below).

Setting the ventilation hood in the scent absorber mode
Inthismode,airlteredthroughtheactivecarbonlterreturnstotheroombythe
oblong openings of the cleaned air outlet located on the upper masking element.
If the ventilation hood is to be used in this mode, it is necessary to purchase and
installanactivecarbonlter.
INSTALLATION

MAINTENANCE

theventilationhoodbody(whichisaccessibleonlyaftertheairlter/-sis/areremo-
ved).Whenbuyinganairlter,informationonthetypeoftheventilationhoodmust
be provided to the seller. The information can be found on the rating plate.
The rating plate can be
found inside the hood.
6.Takeofftheprotectivelmfromthechimneymaskingelements.
7.Setthelengthoftheuppermaskingelementasrequiredandxittothegripwith
two side screws (item A1 below).

9.Re-installthefatlter(thenumberofltersdependsonthetypeofventilation
hood).
10. Connect the ventilation hood to the power supply network.
Control panel
The operation of the ventilation hood is controlled by a combined switch that can
be found on the front of the ventilation hood body.
- the „ ” switch controls the light – turns the light on and off,
- the „ ” switch sets the motor in the third gear,
- the „ ” switch sets the motor in the second gear,
-the„”switchsentthemotorintherstgear,
- the „ ” switch turns of the motor of the ventilation hood.
Caution!
Never press two or more buttons at once.
