1 Notes on the Operating Instructions
This operating manual contains information and instructions for the safe operation of the Aquajet
from JAMADE GERMANY GMBH.
For your own safety and to prevent injury, you should familiarize yourself with the safety
instructions and follow them carefully. JAMADE GERMANY GMBH does not assume any liability
for damages caused by not following these operating instructions.
Target group:
This operating manual is intended for operators or persons authorized by the operator of the
Aquajet from JAMADE GERMANY GMBH.
Storage:
This operating manual is part of the device documentation and is an integral part of the
described Aquajet from JAMADE GERMANY GMBH.
The device documentation is to be kept permanently at the place of use of the Aquajet so that it
is available when required.
Warranty:
All warranty claims of the operator are subject to a limitation period of one year after delivery of
the purchased item, unless liability for intentional or grossly negligent action is given. Wear and
tear on parts is excluded from the warranty.
Claims for damages against JAMADE GERMANY GMBH, due to contractual or pre-contractual
breach of duty as well as from unlawful acts, only exist in the case of intent or gross negligence
on the part of the seller, his representatives or vicarious agents or in the case of breach of
essential contractual obligations.
If JAMADE GERMANY GMBH violates essential contractual obligations due to gross
negligence, the liability is limited to the extent of the typical foreseeable damage. In case of
impossibility or delay, the claims for damages are limited to the compensation of the typical
foreseeable damage.
If the vicarious agent of JAMADE GERMANY GMBH acts grossly negligent, JAMADE
GERMANY GMBH is liable to the extent of the typical foreseeable damage. Liability from the
violation of essential contractual obligations as well as in the case of fraudulent intent on the part
of the seller shall remain unaffected by this. In the event of an injury to body, well-being and
health, the applicable statutory provisions shall remain in force.

2 Security
The basic requirement for the safe handling and trouble-free operation of the Aquajet from
JAMADE GERMANY GMBH is the knowledge of the basic safety instructions and the safety
regulations. Furthermore, the rules and regulations for accident prevention applicable for the
place of use must be observed.
These operating instructions contain important information for safe operation of the device and
must therefore be observed by all persons in the target group.
2.1 Assembly and Meaning of these Safety Instructions
The security instructions in this operating manual are structured in the following way:

The signal word “DANGER!“ indicates imminent danger with death or serious injury as a result.
The signal word "WARNING!" indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided,
will result in death or serious injury. The signal word "CAUTION!" indicates a potentially
hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in minor or moderate injury. The signal word
"CAUTION!" indicates a potentially hazardous situation resulting in damage to the device,
system or immediate surroundings.
Observe the safety instructions without fail! Act cautiously to avoid possible personal injury,
damage to property and accidents.
2.2 Assembly and Meaning of Other Notes

2.3 Safety Instructions
Read and observe all notes and instructions before installation, operation, repair,
maintenance and replacement of accessories.
Non-observance of safety notes and instructions can result in serious injury.
Keep the operating manual in a safe place and make it available to the person
responsible for operating the vehicle
2.3.1 General Safety Instructions
► Disabling or overriding safety devices is prohibited and can lead to serious injury or
death.
► Only trained and experienced swimmers over 16 years of age may use the Aquajet.
► Persons with pacemakers are not allowed to use the Aquajet.
► Pregnant women must not use the Aquajet.
► Persons under the influence of alcohol, medicine or drugs must not use the Aquajet.
► The Aquajet may be used only by completely healthy persons. Even the use of the
Aquajet with a minor cold can lead to slight to severe personal injuries.
► When using the Aquajet a life jacket must be worn.
► Diving goggles must be worn for better visibility.
► To prevent the body from cooling down, a diving suit should be worn.
► Touching the screws is forbidden.
► It is forbidden to remove the protective fins.
► The Aquajet must never be left unattended to avoid use by unauthorized persons.
► The battery may only be changed on land.
► Repair and maintenance work may only be carried out by a technician authorized by
JAMADE GERMANY GMBH.
► Changing or modifying the Aquajet is prohibited. Changes may reduce the effectiveness
of the safety measures and increase the risks for the operator.
► If the Aquajet is damaged, it must be taken out of operation immediately. Contact the
manufacturer or your specialist dealer.
► The operator is obliged to handle the Aquajet responsibly and carefully and to take all
necessary precautions to avoid damage to the Aquajet and to himself and other persons.
► The Aquajet may only be used in protected waters and in the company of others or under
constant supervision of another person. This ensures immediate assistance in case of
injury.
► The Aquajet must not be used in strong currents, strong winds, bad weather or poor
visibility. Failure to observe these instructions may result in serious or fatal injuries to the
operator or other persons.
► The Aquajet must not be used in strong waves (wave heights up to 0.3 m and occasional
waves with a maximum height of 0.5 m). The Aquajet can injure the operator or other
persons.

► The Aquajet must not be used in areas where swimmers or divers are present. This
creates the danger of collision, which can lead to serious or even fatal injuries.
► A safety distance of at least 5 m must be maintained to other persons or objects in the
water. Collisions can lead to severe to fatal dislocations.
► As the Aquajet is not equipped with lights, the use of the Aquajet at night is prohibited.
► The Aquajet must not be used in water less than 1 m deep.
► Do not expose the battery or the charging cable to direct sunlight. This can lead to
material damage and personal injury.
► The Aquajet is not a buoyancy aid. It is not a replacement for a life jacket, air cushion or
other buoyancy aids.
► The Aquajet has a maximum power of 2 x 3.1 kW. Some countries may have their own
licensing requirements, age limits or operating restrictions for such vehicles. Before using
the Aquajet, the operator must inform himself about these regulations.
► The engine of the Aquajet may only be operated in water. Operating the Aquajet out of
the water for more than 10 seconds can lead to overheating and thus to material damage
to the vehicle.
2.3.2 Safety Instructions for Diving to a Depth of up to 2 Metres.
► Only skilled and experienced swimmers may use the Aquajet for diving to a depth of 2
metres.
► Diving with the Aquajet may be done only when accompanied by or under constant
supervision of another person.
► Before every dive the depth sensor must be checked for proper function. A non-
functioning sensor can lead to serious or fatal injuries.
► A safe distance to the seabed must be maintained. Failure to observe this instruction can
lead to environmental damage and personal injury.
► When diving, always pay attention to the operating time shown on the display. This
guarantees that you will surface in time.
