SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In order to avoid overheating, Do not cover heater.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in

a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.

• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless

continuously supervised.

• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch

on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in

its intended normal operating position and they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe

way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,

regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

• CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and

cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children

and vulnerable people are present.

• WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control

the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when

they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on

their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, or

a shower or a swimming pool.

• Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote-

control system or any other device that switches the heater on

automatically, since a re risk exists if the heater is covered or

positioned incorrectly.

• The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.

• After taking it out of the packing, make sure that the appliance has

no damages; in case of doubt please call a competent qualied

electrician. The packing parts (plastic box, polystyrene, nails, etc.)

must be kept out of reach of children as they are dangerous; make

sure to eliminate them according to the present rules and laws.

• Before plugging the appliance make sure that your mains voltage

corresponds to the one stated on the appliance. If there are

differences between your plug and your socket, let the plug be

substituted by a competent qualied electrician with a correct

one; also make sure that the cable is conforming to the power

consumption of the appliance. Do not use adaptors or extension

cables.

• This appliance is to be used for domestic purposes only and

according to the way indicated in these instructions.

• When the appliance is in use it becomes hot: only get in touch with

plastic handle and switches. Avoid touching the radiant part.

• Do not touch the appliance with wet feet or hands.

• Do not let the appliance outside, in the rain, in the sun, etc.

• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord; never pull the cord

to unplug.

• After switching on or off the appliance, it is possible to hear a light

noise (click) due to the heating or the cooling of the appliance. This

is normal and it does not indicate a bad working.

• The reector cannot be cleaned due to construction.

• The heating element is not replaceable.

INSTALLING

• Before each use, verify the appliance has no damages and

the cable neither. In case of doubt, call a competent qualied

electrician.

• Put the appliance far enough from any heating sources,

inammable materials (curtains, clothes, etc.), inammable gas

or explosive materials and from materials that can get deformed

because of the high temperatures. Verify that the frontal part of the

appliance has a free space of about 1m, while the side has a free

space of 0.5m.

• Stand the appliance on a horizontal, at surface or table; do not

stand on a inclined plane (the appliance could capsize).

• Make sure the cable is properly positioned and it is not in touch

with hot surfaces of the appliance. Do not wind the cord around the

appliance and do not bend it.

ASSEMBLING

1. Unscrew the white screws placed on the low part of the appliance.

2. Put the cable & plug of the appliance through the hole in the middle

of the support and assemble both together by putting the top part

into the support.

3. Put the white screws through the support into the appliance and

screw them tightly.

4. Lead the cable through the small cut out away on the backside of

the support.

5. To operate easily, stand the appliance on a horizontal, at and

stable surface. Make sure the safety switch (8) gets in touch with

the oor, otherwise the appliance will not work.

WORKING

1. Make sure all switches are switched off in “OFF”/”O” position.

2. Plug in the appliance and turn on Power OFF/ON switch (1) . The

tube in the middle will turn on. The other tubes can be turned on

with other switches (2 & 3).

3. Turn on the switch (4) for the oscillating function (TURN) to make

the appliance swing to the left and to the right.

4. To switch off the appliance, turn all switches to “OFF”/”O” position

and unplug the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning the appliance, switch off, unplug and wait for it to

cool down completely.

• Protect the appliance from dust to keep safe its reecting

characteristic.

• To clean the body use a soft damp cloth; do not use abrasive

products.

• The protection grill and net are very delicate; to clean them only

use your vacuum cleaner, paying attention not to damage them.

• When the stove is not in use it is necessary to cover and put it in a

dry place. We advise to use the original packing to preserve it from

dust and humidity.

• If the cable is damaged it must be substituted with a special tool:

please contact a competent qualied electrician.

All repairs should be made by a competent qualied

electrician.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Um ein Überhitzen zu vermeiden, darf das

Heizgerät nicht abgedeckt werden.

• Dieses Gerät ist für Kinder ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit

eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen

Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und Kenntnissen geeignet,

falls diese eine angemessene ausführliche Anleitung zur sicheren

Benutzung des Geräts erhalten haben oder beaufsichtigt werden

und die mit dem Gerät verbundenen Gefahren verstehen.

• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

• Reinigung und Wartung durch den Benutzer dürfen nicht von

Kindern durchgeführt werden.

• Kinder unter 3 Jahren fern halten, außer diese werden

kontinuierlich beaufsichtigt.

• Kinder zwischen 3 und 8 Jahren dürfen das Gerät nur verwenden,

sofern es in seiner vorgesehenen normalen Betriebsposition

angebracht bzw. installiert ist und sie eine angemessene

ausführliche Anleitung zur sicheren Benutzung des Geräts

erhalten haben oder beaufsichtigt werden und die mit dem Gerät

verbundenen Gefahren verstehen.

• Kinder zwischen 3 und 8 Jahren dürfen das Gerät nicht einstecken,

einstellen oder reinigen bzw. Wartungsarbeiten durchführen.

• ACHTUNG – Einige Teile dieses Geräts können sehr heiß werden

und Verbrennungen verursachen. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit ist

gegeben, wenn Kinder und gefährdete Personen anwesend sind.

• WARNUNG: Dieses Heizgerät verfügt nicht über eine Funktion

zur Regelung der Raumtemperatur. Verwenden Sie das Heizgerät

nicht in kleinen Räumen, wenn diese von Personen besucht sind,

die den Raum nicht mit eigener Kraft verlassen können, es sei

denn, diese werden ständig beaufsichtigt.

• Verwenden Sie das Heizgerät nicht in der unmittelbaren Nähe

einer Badewanne, einer Dusche oder eines Schwimmbeckens.

• Verwenden Sie diesen Heizofen nicht mit einem Programmierer,

einer Zeitschaltuhr, einem separaten Fernbedienungssystem oder

einem anderen Gerät, das den Heizofen automatisch einschaltet,

da eine Brandgefahr besteht, wenn der Heizofen abgedeckt oder

falsch positioniert ist.

• Das Heizgerät darf nicht direkt unter einer Steckdose aufgestellt

werden.

• Vergewissern Sie sich nach dem Auspacken, dass das Gerät

keine Schäden aufweist. Im Zweifelsfall wenden Sie sich bitte an

einen kompetenten, qualizierten Elektriker. Die Verpackungsteile

(Kunststoffschachtel, Styropor, Nägel usw.) müssen für Kinder

unzugänglich aufbewahrt werden, da sie eine Gefahr darstellen.

Entsorgen Sie die Teile entsprechend den geltenden Vorschriften

und Gesetzen.

• Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Anschließen des Geräts, dass Ihre

Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät angegebenen Spannung

übereinstimmt. Falls sich der Stecker von Ihrer Steckdose

unterscheidet, lassen Sie den Stecker von einem kompetenten,

qualizierten Elektriker gegen einen passenden Stecker

austauschen. Vergewissern Sie sich auch, dass das Kabel dem

Stromverbrauch des Geräts entspricht. Verwenden Sie keine

Mehrfachstecker oder Verlängerungskabel.

• Dieses Gerät darf nur für Haushaltszwecke und in der in dieser

Anleitung angegebenen Art und Weise verwendet werden.

• Das Gerät wird heiß, wenn es in Betrieb ist. Berühren Sie nur

den Kunststoffgriff und die Schalter. Vermeiden Sie es, den

Heizstrahlerbereich zu berühren.

• Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen oder Füßen.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und schützen Sie es vor

Regen, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung usw.

• Bewegen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls, indem Sie am Kabel ziehen,

und greifen Sie den Netzstecker, nicht das Kabel, um das Gerät

auszustecken.

• Nach dem Ein- und Ausschalten des Geräts ist ein leichtes

Knacken zu hören, das auf das Erwärmen oder Abkühlen des

Geräts zurückzuführen ist. Dies ist normal und deutet nicht auf eine

Fehlfunktion hin.

• Der Reektor kann aufgrund der Konstruktion nicht gereinigt

werden.

• Das Heizelement ist nicht austauschbar.

INSTALLATION

• Vergewissern Sie sich vor jedem Gebrauch, dass das Gerät keine

Schäden aufweist und das Kabel nicht beschädigt ist. Wenden Sie

sich im Zweifelsfall an einen kompetenten, qualizierten Elektriker.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät in ausreichend Entfernung von

Wärmequellen, brennbaren Materialien (Vorhängen, Kleidung
