Dear Customer,
In order to avoid damage due to incorrect use, please read these
instructions through carefully before connecting your device to
the mains.
Please pay particular attention to the safety information. If you
pass the device on to a third party, these instructions for use
must also be handed over.
Safety warnings
CAUTION
- Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the
appliance and cause injury to the user.
- The appliance must only be used for its intended purpose.
No responsibility can be taken for any damage caused
through incorrect use or improper handling.
- Before connecting the appliance to a power source, check
that the current and power of the source match those
specified on the rating label.
- Do not put the appliance or the plug-in water or any other
liquid. If the appliance accidentally falls into water, make
sure your hands are dry then unplug the appliance
immediately. Only discard the appliance if it is safe to do
so.
- Never attempt to open the housing yourself.
- Do not insert any kind of object into the housing.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands or on a damp
floor or when the appliance itself is wet.
- Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
- Check the power cable and the plug regularly for any
possible damage. If the power cable or plug is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified
person to avoid creating a hazardous situation.
- Do not use the appliance if it is dropped or otherwise
damaged, or if the power cable or plug are damaged.
- If the appliance is damaged, take it to the authorised
service centre for examination and, if necessary, repair.
- Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Doing so
could cause an electric shock.
- Do not allow the power cable to hang over edges. Also
keep the power cable well away from hot objects and
naked flames. Only ever remove the plug from the mains
socket by holding the plug itself.
- Make sure there is no danger of the power cable or an
extension cable being inadvertently pulled or causing
anyone to trip when the appliance is in use.
- If an extension cable is used, it must be suited to the
power consumption of the appliance, otherwise
overheating of the extension cable and/or plug may occur.
- This appliance is not suitable for commercial use nor for
use in the open air.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Ensure that the fan is disconnected from the mains supply
before removing the guard.
ATTENTION:
- Children cannot recognise the dangers associated with
incorrect use of electrical appliances.
- So, never allow children to use household appliances
without supervision.
- Always remove the plug from the mains socket when the
appliance is not in use and before each occasion when it is
cleaned.
- Danger! Nominal voltage is still present in the appliance as
long as the appliance is connected to the mains socket.
- Switch the appliance off before disconnecting it from the
mains.
- Never use the power cable to carry the appliance. Use
handles to carry the appliance.
- Ensure that the mains socket where you plug your fan in
corresponds to the voltage specified on the rating label on
the base of the appliance
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning safe use of the appliance and understand the
hazards involved.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children without supervision.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack the fan and remove all the parts from the package.
2. Attach the body (6, 7, 8, 9) to the base (10).
3. Unscrew the blade fastener (2) from the front of the motor by rotating it
1. clockwise.
4. Unscrew the rear grill fastener (4) from the front of the motor by rotating it
anticlockwise.
5. Position the rear grill (5) against the front of the motor with its handle at the
top, ensuring that the locating pegs on the motor are correctly inserted into the
hole in the grill. Screw the rear grill fastener (4) onto the projecting thread on
the motor front cover by rotating it clockwise until it is firmly tightened.
6. Push the fan blade (3) onto the motor shaft. Then screw on the blade fastener
(2) by rotating it anticlockwise until it is firmly tightened.
7. Attach the logo plate to the front grill (1). Then position the front grill (1)
against the rear grill (5) and join them together.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the power plug to a suitable power socket.
2. Speed control: Turn to select the desired speed. The control has three
positions.
0 = appliance off; 1 = low speed; 2 = high speed.
3. To make the fan oscillate from side to side, push down the oscillation control
knob on the rear of the motor housing. To stop oscillation of the fan head, pull
the oscillation control knob up.
4. The fan head can be tilted up or down, but first make sure the fan is
disconnected from mains.
CAUTION: THE FAN MUST NOT BE CONNECTED TO THE
ELECTRICAL MAINS SUPPLY DURING ASSEMBLY.

bevor Sie Ihr Gerät an das Stromnetz anschließen. Bitte
beachten Sie insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Wenn Sie
das Gerät an Dritte weitergeben, muss diese
Bedienungsanleitung mit ausgehändigt werden.
Sicherheitshinweise
ACHTUNG
- Falsche Bedienung und unsachgemäße Handhabung
können das Gerät beschädigen und zu Verletzungen des
Benutzers führen.
- Das Gerät darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck
verwendet werden. Für Schäden durch falsche Bedienung
oder unsachgemäße Handhabung kann keine Haftung
übernommen werden.
- Bevor Sie das Gerät an die Stromversorgung
anschließend, stellen Sie sicher, dass Spannung und
Leistung des Stromnetzes mit den Angaben auf dem
Typenschild übereinstimmen.
- Tauchen Sie das Gerät oder den Stecker nicht in Wasser
oder andere Flüssigkeiten. Falls das Gerät versehentlich
ins Wasser fällt, stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Hände
trocken sind, und stecken Sie das Gerät sofort aus.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät nur, falls dies sicher möglich ist.
- Versuchen Sie keinesfalls, das Gehäuse selbst zu öffnen.
- Führen Sie keinesfalls Fremdkörper in das Gehäuse ein.
- Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen, auf
einem feuchten Boden oder wenn das Gerät selbst nass
ist.
- Berühren Sie den Stecker nicht mit nassen Händen.
- Überprüfen Sie das Netzkabel und den Stecker
regelmäßig auf eventuelle Schäden. Falls das Netzkabel
oder der Stecker beschädigt ist, müssen diese durch den
Hersteller oder eine qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden,
um mögliche Gefahren zu vermeiden.
- Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es heruntergefallen ist
oder anderweitig beschädigt wurde, oder wenn Kabel oder
Stecker beschädigt sind.
- Falls das Gerät beschädigt ist, bringen Sie dieses zu
einem autorisierten Fachbetrieb zur Prüfung und ggf.
Reparatur.
- Versuchen Sie keinesfalls, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren.
Dies könnte zu einem Stromschlag führen.
- Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über Kanten hängen.
Halten Sie das Kabel von heißen Gegenständen und
offenen Flammen fern. Ziehen Sie beim Ausstecken des
Geräts aus der Steckdose nur am Stecker selbst.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzkabel oder ein
Verlängerungskabel während der Verwendung nicht
versehentlich herausgezogen werden kann oder jemand
darüber stolpern kann.
- Falls ein Verlängerungskabel verwendet wird, muss dieses
für den Stromverbrauch des Geräts geeignet sein, da es
andernfalls zu einer Überhitzung des Kabels und/oder des
Steckers kommen kann.
- Dieses Gerät ist nicht für die kommerzielle Nutzung oder
für die Verwendung im Freien geeignet.
- Lassen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls unbeaufsichtigt, wenn es
eingeschaltet ist.
- Falls das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss dieses durch den
Hersteller, dessen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um mögliche Gefahren
zu vermeiden.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Ventilator von der
Stromversorgung getrennt ist, bevor Sie das Schutzgitter
entfernen.
ACHTUNG:
- Kinder verstehen die Gefahren durch den unsachgemäßen
Gebrauch elektrischer Geräte nicht.
- Daher sollten Kinder Haushaltsgeräte nur unter Aufsicht
verwenden.
- Ziehen Sie vor der Durchführung von Reinigungs- oder
Wartungsarbeiten und wenn das Gerät nicht in Gebrauch
ist stets den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
- Gefahr! Das Gerät steht unter Spannung, solange es an
die Steckdose angeschlossen ist.
- Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, bevor Sie den Stecker aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
- Verwenden Sie das Kabel keinesfalls, um das Gerät zu
tragen. Verwenden Sie die Handgriffe, um das Gerät zu
tragen.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass die für den Ventilator verwendete
Steckdose mit der auf dem Typenschild am Fuß des
Geräts angegebenen Spannung übereinstimmt.
- Dieses Gerät ist für Kinder ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit
eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und Kenntnissen
geeignet, falls diese eine angemessene ausführliche
Anleitung zur sicheren Benutzung des Geräts erhalten
haben oder beaufsichtigt werden und die mit dem Gerät
verbundenen Gefahren verstehen.
- Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
- Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten dürfen nicht von
Kindern ohne Aufsicht durchgeführt werden.

MONTAGEANWEISUNGEN
1. Den Ventilator auspacken und alle Teile aus ihrer Verpackung nehmen.
2. Das Gehäuse (6, 7, 8, 9) am Standfuß (10) befestigen.
3. Die Befestigungsmutter des Ventilatorflügels (2) durch Drehen im
Uhrzeigersinn von der Vorderseite des Motors abschrauben.
4. Die Befestigungsmutter für das hintere Schutzgitter (4) durch Drehen gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn von der Vorderseite des Motors abschrauben.
5. Das hintere Schutzgitter (5) mit dem Griff nach oben an der Vorderseite des
Motors platzieren. Dabei darauf achten, dass die Fixierstifte des Motors
ordnungsgemäß in der Bohrung des Gitters sitzen. Die Befestigungsmutter für
das hintere Schutzgitter (4) durch Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn auf das
überstehende Gewinde der vorderen Motorabdeckung schrauben, bis diese
fest angezogen ist.
6. Den Ventilatorflügel (3) auf die Antriebswelle schieben. Anschließend die
Befestigungsmutter für den Ventilatorflügel (2) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
drehen, bis diese fest angezogen ist.
7. Das Logo am vorderen Schutzgitter (1) anbringen. Dann das vordere
Schutzgitter (1) gegen das hintere Gitter (5) drücken und die beiden Teile
zusammenfügen.
BEDIENUNGSANWEISUNGEN
1. Schließen Sie den Netzstecker an eine geeignete Steckdose an.
2. Geschwindigkeitseinstellung: Drehen, um die gewünschte Geschwindigkeit zu
wählen. Der Regler hat drei Positionen.
0 = Gerät aus, 1 = Niedrige Geschwindigkeit, 2 = Hohe Geschwindigkeit.
3. Um den Lüfter von rechts nach links schwingen zu lassen, den Knopf für die
Oszillationsfunktion auf der Rückseite des Motorgehäuses nach unten
drücken. Um die Oszillation des Lüfters zu stoppen, den Knopf für die
Oszillationsfunktion nach oben ziehen.
4. Der Lüfterkopf kann nach oben oder unten geneigt werden. Stellen Sie vor der
Einstellung sicher, dass der Ventilator vom Stromnetz getrennt ist.
ACHTUNG DER VENTILATOR DARF WÄHREND DER
MONTAGE NICHT AN DAS STROMNETZ ANGESCHLOSSEN
SEIN.
